What are people saying about Munich

Very important history
This is a somber and vital tour. The subject matter is so very sad and gut wrenching. Jessie is extremely knowledgeable and includes a great deal of history and background material. She treats the topics with the care and sensitivity they deserve. Never forget this history! There is a lot of walking and Jessie arranged for me to use an electric scooter. She is kind and compassionate. I highly recommend her tour.

A fun evening and experience!
We had an enjoyable stroll through Munich, with highlights of brew houses and history. Each stop had delicious tastings of food and drink. The group size (10 people) allowed for easy interaction and conversations, and our guide was both knowledgeable and relatable. Of special interest was the museum showing the art of the brewing craft, the history of the guilds, the geology enabling such fine products (spoiler: the water), and what led to Oktoberfest. We finished with a tasty dinner and fun conversations with our fellow tour attendees. All in all, a fun evening and experience.

Third Reich Walking Tour of Munich
It was a very sobering experience discovering how Hitler caused the death of countless millions during his regime. Our tour guide Josh had in depth knowledge of the political and economic circumstances that contributed towards Hitler’s rise to power since WW1 and the devastation caused to his home country Germany.
Josh was a passionate, educated and articulate guide and I would strongly recommend him to anyone interested in knowing about the Third Reich regime.

A wonderful tour & learning experience
This was a fantastic tour & Oz was so great. You will learn so much about Munich & Bavaria and there place in the world & Germany in the past and today. We really felt it went much deeper than your average walking tour. Oz has a real love for his city & you can tell how much he enjoys sharing it & teaching people about it. We enjoyed the snack stop for a sausage & beer, a perfect break. We had a different tour the next day & many of them had also been on Oz's tour the day before, we all kept talking about how good it was & how he ruins you for other tours.

Fantastic way to see Munich on a Sunday with excellent tour guide in Dave!
This was an excellent way to spend Sunday in Munich and take in all of the relevant and historical must see attractions.
Dave was a fantastic tour guide, really engaging throughout and couldn't have asked for more.
We were in a large group on this particular day (24) but had no issues riding with such numbers and found the cycling to cater to everyone's level. It's not a taxing cycle for the time you are on the tour and it was great to take in the sights with little traffic around us. At all times Dave made us aware of local cycling best practices and we thoroughly enjoyed it.

Dachau half day - strong and reverent
The half day trip was full and the site was crowded. It was great to see the youngsters coming to learn as well as so many international persons. The memorials and the information were strong and reverent. The half day was not quite long enough - would have wanted a little more time to sit and be there.

Fun and different experience!
This was a fun way to see and learn more about Munich. We had never been there before and enjoyed a more light hearted experience even though it was about some of the more serious events in the city's history. Our tour guide, Tony, was entertaining and kept our interest throughout the tour. Oh and the shots didn't hurt either!

Outstanding tour!
A sobering tour but one that was very memorable for all of us. James, our tour guide, was incredible. He was extremely knowledgeable of German history. He was passionate and thoughtful when sharing the horrors that occurred. His knowledge of events, dates , and timelines made our tour easier to understand the history. We all learned so much about the horrible things that happened and what society should never forget.

Loved it!
This walking tour provides a very efficient, but also thorough, way to see and learn about the most iconic builings and sights in central Munich. Our guide, Phillip, did an amazing job explaining and providing the historical background of many buildings and sites in the area. We were also able to visit the English Gardens, plus he was kind enough to guide us to the Lowenbrau Biergarten for lunch.

Great walking tour
We really enjoyed our walking tour. Our guide, Bernie, was so nice and full of great information. He kept it interesting and we learned a lot about the history of each of the stops we made. We saw a lot and our whole family of five had a lot of fun - even though it was really cold day. Definitely recommend!

Munich Walking Tour / 2 hr
Our walking tour experience was great. We had Adrian as our tour guide and he gave us so much great info. The check in was easy and all the people in the office where we started were very nice. We finished the tour then went to lunch with some of the other travelers on the tour. It was a great day!!!!

This was an absolutely...
This was an absolutely amazing experience! Our guide, Helio, was fantastic. Not only did he ensure everyone’s safety by clearly communicating stops and directions, he was also knowledgeable about the history and had lots of good recommendations for things to do in the city. He was funny and personable. The tour itself was also really cool. We got to experience the highlights and get to know the city in a new way.

Despite Munich’s efficient public transport system, its Old Town and shopping areas are compact and ideally explored on foot. If you’re not familiar with the city, Munich walking tours offer the perfect solution. While some tours delve into World War II sites associated with the Third Reich, others cover Old Town highlights, ghost-themed adventures, culinary explorations, and customizable private experiences. Whether you’re drawn to history, culture, or gastronomy, discovering the city on foot can be tailored to every preference.
