What are people saying about Mexico City

Real life Pandora
This trip is definitely worth the experience, 100 percent. We had an excellent tour guide, a down to earth historian by the name of Alex. We went on July 16th, a week before school vacations began, so the crowds were light. Alex and his driver, Lagos, were the best. Extremely prepared. Be advised, many people dont go because they dont want to be on a bus or van for about 4 hours to get to the waters. You have to be ready for pick up by 5 but its completely worth it. Alex and Lalo are on time, exactly when they say they will pick you up. You have two stops before the river. You have a buffet, ready for you and the food is excellent. No limit to what you eat and its great food selection. The you stop at a store to pick up supplies for yourself, if you need water shoes or a bathing suit, it is up to you but Alex and Lalo provides the essentials, towel, water bottle, and even a flashlight for an amazing experience going through the caves. The Tolantongo pools were a gorgeous sight and the waterfalls look like something out of a movie. The 8 hour drive from and to the city, is completely worth it, by the end of trip, you wont even have realized how long the drive was from the gorgeous experience youve had, provided by Alex and his driver, Lalo. Please go and enjoy.

The guide, Aldo and his driver are both very kind people. The tour is fully customized to your liking. I honestly did not realize I booked a private tour but it turned out to be the best decision. I highly suggest going to the pulque tasting and the restaurant afterwards.

Such a dream! An absolute must.
Such an amazing experience, and SO glad I went, but be prepared. It's a LONG day! Three hours each way. While I didn't feel rushed, I would have liked to have had more time at the actual hot springs. If you're unable to swing it, this is a great option, but don't plan anything else for the day, as getting back will be difficult (think LA/ATL prime traffic gridlock). If you have a few days to spare, rent a car and stay at least 1 night to really enjoy it. Our tour guides were awesome! Took us to the cutest cafe to have breakfast. Best coffee ever! And went to an empanada shop on our way back. If you've never been and are limited on time during your trip to CDMX, it's 10000% worth going!

Excellent Excursion for the price
Excellent tour for the price. The bus was comfortable and not too crowded and the tour guide provided some interesting information regarding Mexico city and the sites along the route to the archeological site. The guide was excellent, very knowledgable and easy to hear and understand in English. There were no "tourist stops" designed to subject us to high pressure trinket sales, just one washroom stop before entering the site where we were given water and a small snack. There is plenty of opportunity to buy trinkets while on the tour if it's something you want to do because the Teotihuacan site is full of trinket sellers. The archeological site itself is fantastic. The 3 hours or so we spent at the site was all the time you need for a first visit. I highly recommend this tour.
