Come hungry...
Mustafa and Omar were great guides. They did a nice job explaining all of the dishes we were trying, not just ingredients but the history of the dish. The food was absolutely amazing. I highly recommend it if you want to try local street food. Come hungry. If possible ask for these two guides. They were the best.

Food, glorious food
Well paced tour with plenty of food tasting. Our guide spoke excellent english and provided a lot of information on both the food and the Moroccan way of life. Very enjoyable evening spent with another lovely couple. I would recommend this tour as it adapts to dietary requirements once notified in advance

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An Unforgettable Souk Tour with Rashid!
If you’re visiting Marrakech, do yourself a favor and book a private souk tour, with Rashid, if possible. From the moment he picked us up at our riad, we knew we were in great hands.
Rashid is incredibly knowledgeable about Marrakech, its history, culture, and the hidden gems of the souks. He made what could have been an overwhelming experience feel relaxed, enjoyable, and authentic. He listened to everything we wanted to find and somehow checked every item off our list—from beautiful Moroccan tea and high-quality spices to delicious local pastries and other unique finds.
What impressed us most was how accommodating and genuinely caring he was. He never rushed us, answered all of our questions with patience, and even went out of his way after the tour to show us exactly where to meet for our next excursion. That level of service is rare and made us feel truly welcomed.
Thanks to Rashid, we didn’t just shop—we experienced the heart of Marrakech with someone who clearly loves sharing his city with visitors. We left with wonderful memories, amazing purchases, and a much deeper appreciation for Moroccan culture.
Thank you, Rashid, for making our first visit to the Marrakech souks such a memorable one. We highly recommend him to anyone looking for a personalized, stress-free, and authentic experience!

A must do for any adventurous eater!
This tour was everything it promised and more. Our group was smaller than normal which meant we got more chances to ask questions and traversed the medina easier. From the flat breads, to pastries, the yogurt and sand coffee every dish was delicious and truly a slice of Morrocan life and street food culture. Bring your appetite, comfy walking shoes and a hat to shade yourself from the sun. I was glad to try so many dishes I'd seen in previous days but had been unsure what it was or how to order one.

Great experience
The tour was excellent and exceptional value. So many standout moments.... the camel ride, quad-bike ride. food and entertainment. Obviously being in the desert in late June it was damned hot and dusty, so take plenty of water and get a Amazigh (Berber) headscarf for the quad-bike ride. Our tour guide (NeZha) helped make the experience special.

Mohamed took us on a...
Mohamed took us on a private tour of the Atlas Mountains and we had a great time. He was very helpful in describing the history and culture. The additional guide who took us on the hike was also very good and the hike was beautiful. Be prepared to walk through some rocky trails. Overall a great experience and highly recommended.

Traditional Tagine Cookery Class
Fabulous experience. Mouna our guide was just so lovely. She was engaging , knowledgeable and taught us about shopping, the local language and the Medina.
It’s worth knowing that this is an authentic experience and some travellers may not wish to see the chickens being killed infront of them. This aside we loved learning about the spices and making our own lunch. The salads were also beautiful and the whole experience was very enjoyable including enjoying a mint tea on the stunning roof terrace.

Great afternoon
A great afternoon spent creating Moroccan dishes! We made 4 starters and 2 tagines. There were 12 of us in total. We met the guide at 2pm at the meeting point, then went through the market to pick up the vegetables we needed on the way to the house. It was mainly chopping and preparing the food, but it was good fun. There was also an opportunity to buy some spices at the end. We finished around 4:30/45. Very good activity!

Very fun and informative
Yaya was out guide. He was very personable and a lot of fun. We had a large group of 18 and he made everyone feel welcome. The food we tried was tasty (except for the snails!) And interesting. He added stories and history of the food. We enjoyed him and his presentation very much.

Fantastic and Fun Experience, Definately Recommended!!
This was really one of the highlights of our holiday. Najla made us feel really welcome she is super knowledgeable and explained all about the herbs and spices we used and how best to introduce them into various dishes. We firstly went to the local market to select the herbs and meat (the chicken was so fresh it was still warm!!)
The whole experience was interactive and we were one of three couples in the class. We each took turns at preparing different elements of the starters and our main dish 'The Tagine', the food was fabulous. We have taken lots of ideas away with us to introduce to meals back in the UK and Najla even emailed us after the class with lots of recipes and information on all of the spices and marinades we used and prepared. Definately recommended!!

Loved everything about this!
Loved everything about this excursion. We started out sharing tea around a big table filled with jars of spices where our coordinator taught us about the spices used in Moroccan cuisine. We had the chance to smell them and learn of their origins. She explained about the traditional tagine, both the cookware and the meal. From there, we went to the cooking area, where we learned from the dada (female cook) how to make 3 traditional dishes. Everyone was so happy to be there and work with us, which made working in the kitchen pure joy. Finally, we sat in the dining room and were served the meal we just cooked. We highly recommend this excursion.
