I've hired viator private guides from scotland to bosnia and have had some great guides and Abdel is hands down one of the best. We got lost on our way to meet him and arrived a solid 1 hour late, and he was patiently waiting for us. What I thought was going to be a 3 hour tour ended up being 4 hours, plus the hour we wasted. His english is fantastic, good sense of humor, patience, he was great with our kids, gave great historical context, took us to places that were off the typical path, all interesting, nice walking pace, and all the while narrating the story of Marrakech. Honestly, to those doing the research and trying to decide amongst several nearly 5 star reviews, stop wasting your time and book this tour. The day after our tour, I whats apped him to ask about a reputable antique shop, and he offered to meet us in the medina and escort us to a place. Can't say enough good things, and can't think of any negative at all.

Unique tour - great if you want to customize things for yourself

Family of 4 (kids in high school and college) wanted a ‘behind the scenes’ walk through Marrakesh. We didnt want what we can see on YouTube or on a massive group tour. Abdul delivered exactly what we wanted - he took us to many spots that he knew we would enjoy. Great conversation, q&a, and perfect English. It’s also great to move through the Medina with someone that knows practically every person in it!

Exceptional Tour with an Exceptional Guide (Abdul)

This tour/our guide Abdul was exceptional. He struck a perfect balance of explaining the history and culture of Marrakech while sharing local insights that were definitely off the beaten path. In addition to taking us to the traditional city highlights he also took us to where he grew up and showcasing what a day in the life was like. We really appreciated this perspective as it felt very authentic and genuine. In addition, he provided some exceptional restaurant recommendations for the few nights we did not have plans/reservations. All in all, an exceptional tour with an exceptional guide.
