It’s not a leisurely stroll. You have to be able to weave through narrow passages filled with people rather quickly.

The Medina: A World Heritage Site in Marrakech

This is a wonderful tour of 2.5 hours, long enough to understand the history of Morocco through the dynasties and the history of the Medina. As the souks can be confusing to navigate without a guide, it was great to explore them and be educated about how they were originally organized as well as see leather, and metal craft being made. I would not have discovered these “studios” alone. We also toured the Islamic school and the Secret Garden and were able to have free time in both.
