We enjoyed the...
We enjoyed the insectarium and aquarium immensely. It is worth every penny to go through at your leisure and explore. The extra experience, at no cost, of petting sting rays was amazing and such a calming experience. The staff were amazing and knowledgeable. If we were residents, this would be on our regular rotation!

Book this and Jay is the best tour guide in the city
If you do this tour you will not be disappointed! I went last night with my daughter and Jay was our tour guide. If there is one thing I love it’s wild and crazy fun loving people and man she’s it. She knows her stuff and doesn’t hold back. Absolutely loved her and this tour. She even hooked up my daughter with a special gift AFTER the surprise at the end of tour. Just amazing!

Fascinating Swamp Tour
Captain Ernie was a wonderful guide. He is very knowledgeable about the swamp ecosystem and I learned so much about the gators, birds, indigenous vs planted trees, Spanish moss, and the local culture. He also told many interesting and entertaining stories. I highly recommend any tours with Captain Ernie!

This tour is a MUST!!!...
This tour is a MUST!!! Lee picked us up at a local hotel and took us all over the city. We learned so much. From the culture of the city to Hurricane Katrina. We saw more sites in 2 hours than we could have done on our own. We did several tours and this one was by far my favorite.

WOW!! Tokyo Drifting in NOLA? Sign me up!!
DO IT!
If you are hesitant in any way, don't and just click BUY NOW!
I was super hesitant about this. Going back and forth on if we should do the pontoon boat instead and worried about how "fast" the airboat would be and if there would be any concerns of being motion sick, swamp sick, boat sick - short answer, NO, nope, nada!
It was exhilarating, educational and so much fun!! Hands down the best of our NOLA experience! + beignets lol
Our cap was BePop (?) BeBop.. Bee Pop... something like that. He was funny (dad jokes on point), personable and provided a wealth of information and personal details to the whole experience!
This would definitely be something we would do as well as recommend to anyone visiting NOLA to do at least once! And definitely the airboat > pontoon. The airboat covers a lot more swamp and can get into the more narrow spaces while the pontoon does not. It's not fast the entire time as he will slow down to see various things and even stop to provide details of the ecosystem which we found really interesting.
We loved it! And if you are able to, opt for the smaller group. It's more intimate and all our questions got answered. We got lucky with a fun bunch!
If you are staying in downtown NOLA they offer hotel pick up service, I would recommend doing that as well. There isn't a need to get a rental just for this excursion unless you need to it to travel elsewhere while in NOLA. And I would advise against an Uber because getting back to downtown NOLA after the excursion might encounter a long delay because it isn't like a whole bunch of Ubers are just close by the swamp areas. ;)
Have fun! You won't regret it!
P.S. We were able to hold a baby alligator and I had to talk myself out of smuggling the little guy home. Who knew alligators could be so cute - and it was SOFT!! *mindblown*

Very educational and...
Very educational and enjoyable ride. The captains were great, friendly, and funny. It was wonderful seeing the alligators so close. Also, our captain kissed one of the large alligators right from the side of the boat. Very enjoyable trip. Would definitely do again.

Great Experience
I had a great experience booking through Viator! The booking process was easy and straightforward, and everything was well organized from start to finish. The experience itself was enjoyable, and the communication and overall service were excellent. I would definitely use Viator again and recommend it to anyone looking for convenient ways to book tours and activities while traveling.

Awesome Experience!
There are two types of classes, demonstration and hands on. We did the hands on experience and it was phenomenal. Renee was our instructor chef and he made the class very interesting. The hands on class also includes mimosas, Bloody Marys, wine, beer and to go cups ! While not required, drinking was encouraged. We had a lot of fun, learned a lot and enjoyed a very tasty meal that we made ourselves.

Wow! What an experience!
It's very hard to put into words how amazing this experience was. From the history, to the staff, the jazz band, the hospitality, I could go on! Captain Robbie, what an amazing man, 51 years service and so glad I got to meet him, not only that a private tour from engine room, to stern, to bow with so much knowledge!
And not to forget, my man Marlon! Without him there is no VIP! This guy knows how to host! From leading us around the boat, to seating area, to keeping us updated. And just when you think I need a drink, he just shows up! Like magic! He really takes that extra mile and makes the whole evening special.
To all the staff behind the scenes, I thank you aswell. Such a magical evening, me and my wife enjoyed every minute

Just Fun!
Travel to New Orleans a lot and are always looking for something new. Zip lining was it this time. It was just me and my husband. We had a great time and can’t wait to bring our children soon.
Staff and people in the group were so much fun.
Would highly recommend!

Fun experience.
This tour is fun and educational. We got to see all types of wildlife. It gets hot out there, so sunglasses, sun hats, suncreen, water.....recommended, as you sit still in the boat while getting all sorts of info from the tour guide. The rapid spurts of speed boating make up for it though and it's so much fun.

2hr tour
We rode an hour down the river to stop for an hour at a fascinating battle ground. The guide was funny, knowledgeable, and passionate about the history of New Orleans. The boat slowed going by the sugar mill to show the movement of raw sugar to the mill, as well as the merchant marine ship. The rain was refreshing and beautiful. All in all, a spectacular informative cruise.
