What a fantastic experience

What a fantastic experience! The Jack the Ripper Tour was fascinating, atmospheric and incredibly interesting from start to finish. Walking through the historic streets of Whitechapel and the East End really brought Victorian London to life. Our tour guide Nick was knowledgeable, engaging and a brilliant storyteller, explaining the history and mystery surrounding Jack the Ripper in a way that kept everyone interested throughout. I particularly enjoyed learning about Victorian London, the locations connected to the case, and the different theories surrounding the identity of Jack the Ripper. The guide balanced the darker history with interesting facts about what life was actually like in the East End during the 1880s.

If you are paired with...

If you are paired with Ben, you're going to have a great time. His knowledge of the neighborhood was first rate and he had many great stories to tell. The tour got better as it went on, particularly if you're interested in the music focus of it. The posting didn't quite allude to this as a "bar crawl" and it was only four stops (with a suggested half pint at each) but the tone was a little more drinking-oriented than expected so important to understand.

Was overall delightful apart from a rocky start. really helpful the lead up to the preparation and furally enjoyed myself. Two of my party didn't arrive as they was to hot and we uncomfortable l. Very well done. You do see most of the popular sites. The short tube ride added to the experience. Very simple to use the tube. Nathaniel was a great guide and I would rank him as one of the best I’ve had over the years. He was extremely knowledgeable and was always looking out for members of the group in crowded areas. He is s five star guide.

A Visit to Westminster on foot

Paul was a wonderful guide as he took us through the sites of Westminster, including Parliament Square, Big Ben, Palace of Westminster, and the interior of Westminster Abbey. Paul shared his deep knowledge of the history, architectural details and luminaries buried there. He also pointed out the Supreme Court building and residencs of the Royals.. As a group we walked through Saint James's Park to Buckingham Palace. Paul had a great sense of humor. The meeting point of the iconic Sir Winston Churchill statue was easy to locate. The tour ended at the doorstep of Picadilly Circus. This tour is highly recommended.

Nice little tour of some very nice pubs sprinkled with local history

Very nice trip through London while visiting some realy cool pubs. Chris is an experienced guide, and that expertise comes through nicely. He offered up some great information as we wandered to four different pubs. Timing was relaxed and we had time to sip a full or half pint at each stop. Chris also made sure he spent time with each member in our group so no one felt left out.

This was an excellent taster for the British monarchy and its heritage, Delightfully delivered by our Tour guide Marilyn who was a very knowledgeable historian with an easy listening style and a mind-field of facts and figures knowledge. First time we have used City Tours and whilst the guide is only 30 interactive mins from the overall guide, there is enough knowledge passed on meet the most inquisitive of minds. Would highly recommend this !

Check that you queue for the correct company. It is confusing finding Viator amongst the other companies. Best to ask members of staff rather than fellow passengers. Others are just as confused. Once on the correct boat the trip was fantastic. Very informative journey from Westminster Bridge to Greenwich & back.

Highly recommend this tour! Our guide,Jack, was so great at giving us a taste of London during our 3 hour time slot. Jack was funny, kind, inclusive and very knowledgeable about each site.
