Top Lake Como Day Trips

We had an absolutely wonderful time. We were welcomed into our hosts home and made to feel relaxed. The explanation and demonstration to cooking was perfect and we loved eating the finished product and chatting w our hosts throughout the experience. Would highly recommend.

Owner was very kind, engaging and passionate throughout our tour and tasting. She made us feel like family. We really enjoyed the wine and food along with a tremendous view. We enjoyed it so much, we ordered a dozen bottles to ship home. We highly recommended!

This day trip is well organized. Our tour guide Barbara was very informative, she gave us options to do, recommendations where to eat. We stayed over Lugano and she guided us and prepared our train tickets to go back to Milan. Good communication and coordination. I highly recommend this day trip.

Give yourself some time to get there, and find the off path store. Upon arrival, we were greeted in a cute little bistro style wine shop. Definitely had a local vibe with the normal clientele visiting while we were tasting. Our sommelier was very knowledgeable and generous with the pours. We had the cheese and meat plates with the tasting. The peppered beef paired phenomenally with the heaviest of vino tinto. The price point for bottles was not horrible and they offered shipping outside of Italy. A couple did not arrive so we had a little more wine to the four of us - yum ;). The high speed train failed us on the return, but the local train worked. Do not get suckered into a 130 Euro Uber.

We had a wonderful time with Sara and the food was really delicious. Learned a lot. Everything was fresh (she grows all of her own herbs!) and she took all of our food allergies into account. It was one of the highlights of our trip. We highly recommend this to anyone going to Lake Como.

This sailing trip exceeded my expectations! We knew we would be viewing the spectacular beauty of Lake Como, but what I didn’t expect was the history lessen regarding the prominent villas on the shores of the lake! We not only learned who owned them currently or who previously owned them, but how some of them are still owned by the same families over the centuries. We also learned about 2 different villas that were used in films like Star Wars, The Devil Wears Prada and a James Bond Film! We were able to swim as well, which was refreshing due to the heat. We did sit in the shade throughout our trip, so we weren’t in the blistering sun during our ride. There, unfortunately wasn’t enough wind to open the sails, but that really wasn’t an issue. We were served beverages and small bite sandwiches for our trip, but eat prior or bring enough to eat for a 3 hour tour. We were pleased with our skipper Giacamo, from Florence, was amazing and an incredible historian of Lake Como! We highly recommend this trip, and Cristina was also very communicative leading up to our trip. 100% worth every penny we spent!

Beatrice was wonderful!!!! This was a great and fun class where we made ravioli and tagliatelle. I have never tasted better pasta and I will never buy pasta in a box again! Beatrice was a great teacher guiding us in all the recipes and techniques to make these wonderful dishes. She also shared her homemade tiramisu and gelato that was molto delizioso!!! I highly recommend this for anyone that loves to cook.
