Murano, Burano boat trip. 6 hours

You don't get much time in Murano, so just be aware of that. Easy to keep track of which boat you need. All day for us the operator was Doge. Burano was amazing. Lots of time to shop or have lunch. Not a ton to see in Torcello. If coming from other areas of Venice, know that the 9.50 Euro water taxi can be avoided but the bridge may be a longer walk for you. Very well organized and the boats always have a guide giving area info in 3 languages.

She gives good recommendations and follow up every one in the tour. Suggest to download WhatsApp as most communications were through this app.

Beautiful trip well worth it

It was a very well organised trip and Cristina the guide was excellent and very good ensuring you knew next steps etc. The only thing that spoilt it was we joined the coach later (connection from Lake Como). Whilst the connection was smooth, families already on the coach had decided they wanted a window seat each. More than one family had done this so we were unable to sit as a couple as loads of single seats left. I think the company should ensure for those joining later on the journey, they have these reserved and have more control over other customers taking up seat as we’ve all paid a decent price to be there! We asked the one person if they could move and sit with one of the people they were with but they refused. The only other issue was being pushed and shoved to get on Bernina express, but this is the behaviour of the young adults coming up from behind you and not the fault of the company/trip itself. I would recommend as the trip, scenery, Cristina and the excellent coach driver made it all so worthwhile.

Definitely recommend this trip

We were really happy with how this trip turned out - even if the weather in the AM didn't get the memo! About 12 in the group, travel by train much more pleasant than bus. Our guide, Francesca (Franci) was great value all day - thanks to her for making the trip so enjoyable by just keeping it real with her balanced commentary. Nice balance of travel and free time, didn't feel hurried (or bored). The gorge is unexpectedly spectacular (the upside of the storm the previous day). 07.30 to 18.00 a full day - good value (even if it looks a little pricey - it could be the highlight of your visit to Milan, as it was for us).

Cooking with a view!

We had an absolutely wonderful time. We were welcomed into our hosts home and made to feel relaxed. The explanation and demonstration to cooking was perfect and we loved eating the finished product and chatting w our hosts throughout the experience. Would highly recommend.

Great tour!

Was a great day. Andrea was very knowledgable and helpful and made a great guide! Short walking tour of Como followed by coach to Lugano with the right amount of spare time for us. Boat trip from Menaggio to Bellagio was fine. Bellagio was really crowded but worth seeing. The boat trip back to Como from Bellagio was extremely busy since it's a pubic ferry and we sometimes found it hard to hear/understand what Andrea was saying. Sure glad we didn't have to line up as individuals to get on the ferry, the lineup was incredibly long. We got a little mixed up as to where to meet the group to leave and whatsapp'd Viator who was extremely helpful and got Andrea to call us. His motto is leave no one behind and he was great. Definitely glad we took the tour and would recommend it to others!

Lake Como Wine tasting off the beaten path

Give yourself some time to get there, and find the off path store. Upon arrival, we were greeted in a cute little bistro style wine shop. Definitely had a local vibe with the normal clientele visiting while we were tasting. Our sommelier was very knowledgeable and generous with the pours. We had the cheese and meat plates with the tasting. The peppered beef paired phenomenally with the heaviest of vino tinto. The price point for bottles was not horrible and they offered shipping outside of Italy. A couple did not arrive so we had a little more wine to the four of us - yum ;). The high speed train failed us on the return, but the local train worked. Do not get suckered into a 130 Euro Uber.

A wonderful addition to Lake Como

We had a wonderful time with Sara and the food was really delicious. Learned a lot. Everything was fresh (she grows all of her own herbs!) and she took all of our food allergies into account. It was one of the highlights of our trip. We highly recommend this to anyone going to Lake Como.

Amazing Trip on Lake Como! ⛵️

This sailing trip exceeded my expectations! We knew we would be viewing the spectacular beauty of Lake Como, but what I didn’t expect was the history lessen regarding the prominent villas on the shores of the lake! We not only learned who owned them currently or who previously owned them, but how some of them are still owned by the same families over the centuries. We also learned about 2 different villas that were used in films like Star Wars, The Devil Wears Prada and a James Bond Film! We were able to swim as well, which was refreshing due to the heat. We did sit in the shade throughout our trip, so we weren’t in the blistering sun during our ride. There, unfortunately wasn’t enough wind to open the sails, but that really wasn’t an issue. We were served beverages and small bite sandwiches for our trip, but eat prior or bring enough to eat for a 3 hour tour. We were pleased with our skipper Giacamo, from Florence, was amazing and an incredible historian of Lake Como! We highly recommend this trip, and Cristina was also very communicative leading up to our trip. 100% worth every penny we spent!

Awesome master cooking class!!!

Beatrice was wonderful!!!! This was a great and fun class where we made ravioli and tagliatelle. I have never tasted better pasta and I will never buy pasta in a box again! Beatrice was a great teacher guiding us in all the recipes and techniques to make these wonderful dishes. She also shared her homemade tiramisu and gelato that was molto delizioso!!! I highly recommend this for anyone that loves to cook.
