Top Lake Como Day Trips

What a fantastic day! We absolutely loved our excursion to Lake Como and Lugano with Chiara. From the moment we met her, she was warm, friendly, and full of energy, and she made the whole day feel easy and enjoyable. She was also brilliant at keeping everyone together and on schedule — somehow managing to herd a whole group of tourists without making it feel rushed! 😂 One of our favourite stops was Torno. We had around 30 minutes there, which was just enough time to walk around, take in the views, and enjoy the atmosphere of this lovely little lakeside village. It felt quieter and more authentic than some of the busier places around Lake Como, and we really enjoyed getting to see it. The boat ride on Lake Como was another highlight. The views were amazing, and it was such a great way to experience the lake. Being able to visit both Lake Como and Lugano in one day made for a really memorable experience. We also had a stop in Switzerland for wine tasting. The wine itself wasn’t exactly our favourite 😂, but the chocolate was definitely worth it — make sure you get some! Chiara really made the day special. She was patient, helpful, and always happy to answer questions. She gave us interesting information along the way without making it feel like a history lecture, and she did a great job balancing the planned itinerary with giving us time to enjoy each place. We’d definitely recommend this trip if you’re staying in Milan and want to see Lake Como and Lugano in one day. And if you get Chiara as your guide, you’re in very good hands!
