Top Lake Como Day Trips

Margherita was our instructor and hostess for our cooking class. She was a amazing chef and fantastic person. She made us all feel like we were part of her family. We really had so much fun. Thank you so much Margherita for making our evening So special and so enjoyable.

Andrian was an amazing guide. Touring on the bus was painless to Lugano. The stop was only an hour however you could walk the park and grab a latte. The ferry ride to Bellagio was short and enjoyable as a small group. Of course the recommendation to eat at Seta was top notch. The ferry back to Como was informative. Great food, drink and conversation. Thank you for an amazing day!

We had a wonderful experience with Cesarine and Morena as our host! She was so welcoming and made us feel right at home. We enjoyed talking with her while making and enjoying our meal. We had several appetizers and made ravioli and tortellini with pesto and tiramisu. Each course was paired with an apertif or wine with some coffee at the end. This was one of the best experiences we had in Como, and we would recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Thoroughly enjoyed this experience. The water can get a little choppy, I thought it all part of the fun - but if you’re a nervous swimmer you might get anxious. However, our guide instilled confidence and the kayaks are very stable. The guide Michael (wrong spelling - sorry!) was informative and humorous but low key enough to allow us to enjoy the natural beauty all around. It was wonderful to see the towering cliffs and cloud wreathed mountains from a different angle. Great bit of exercise too!

Excellent day on the lake! Our captain was wonderful and informative, telling stories about the villas and villages we passed. The views are incomparable. The day we originally scheduled had a sudden thunderstorm, and the company was very accommodating in moving our sailing to the next day when it was sunny and safe to sail. It was a great experience for us all!

Absolutely amazing experience. This is the only review I've written for our two week trip. We did 6 other activities through viator, but I had to leave a review for this one. The lunchtime in Menaggio was absolutely perfect. Making the pasta was fun. We made two different "doughs" and then made a few different types of pasta. Paolo was amazing. He was informative, kind, passionate, and funny. The food tasted amazing as well. We of course ate the pasta we made, but the sauces were also very good! Paulo also came and sat with us towards the end of the lunch and he just talked with us for an hour answering questions and telling stories. This experience was a true Italian experience for us that was relaxing and enjoyable. Honestly, I didn't do this only to learn how to make pasta because I can YouTube that. I did this for the experience, and it was absolutely perfect. This was exactly what we needed and hoped it would be. Just like pictures don't ever do an amazing view justice, words can't do this experience justice, but I tried my best. Thank you Paolo!!

Great way with innovative use of technology to experience Como. Recommend you do this early in your stay in Como and can then return to those areas on which you may wish to concentrate. Sergio was an excellent guide with additional comments to that provided by the narrative and pictures of the notebook on the bike.

This was the perfect way to start our visit to Como. The walking tour gave us the history of the city, the cathedral and the walls around the city. Violetta was a superb tour guide, giving us tips about what to do around the city and surrounding area. Highly recommended! We actually signed up with her for a tour the next day too!
