Don’t hesitate to book!

Beautiful day out to Lake Como with Naji, who guided our group of 14. Naji was so welcoming and a charming guide. I am so glad we took this tour as all the hassle of buying tickets and knowing which ferries to take and where to board are taken care of. I could have done this independently with my daughter but this was well worth the price of having a stress free day. Very enjoyable meeting the travellers in the group on the scenic train ride up to Varenna. Naji gave very helpful orientation suggestions on where to walk to and which restaurants to try in Bellagio. In Varenna, Naji took us to the point where we could walk along to an outdoor cafe for coffee to enjoy the fabulous view. If we had been on our own we might have wasted time working out where to go and then would have had to get a queue for the ferry in the hot sun. No need to do this as Naji had all our tickets for us. There are two short ferry rides. Varenna to Bellagio (15 mins) on a small car ferry/foot passenger and then from Bellagio to Bellano. (20 mins). This was fine for us but if you want a longer cruise then another itinerary might be worth looking at. As it was I felt that we had enough time in each town and it makes you want to return another time as it is all so beautiful. I highly recommend this day out. Our hotel was only a 15 min walk from the station so it was an easy for us to get there for the 7.45am meeting time. You arrive back in Milan by 6pm so still time to enjoy the evening. Go for it! Thank you Naji. It was a pleasure to have you as our guide.

This very special...

This very special activity was one of the highlights of our stay in Como, Italy. Our host, Monica, was lovely and made the trip delightful. I wish we would have had another hour to spend in St. Moritz to take in the scenery. We felt a bit rushed for lunch but otherwise it was a wonderful experience!

Definitely book!

I was nervous booking a solo wine tasting in Como, but I could not have had a better time! The experience was incredible and I got to meet the owner’s son and spend time tasting some of the selection they were deciding whether to sell in their store. The wines were amazing and the staff knowledgeable about the selection and very kind to me overall. It was the highlight of my holiday in Como! I will definitely be coming back.

Amazing Trip on Lake Como! ⛵️

This sailing trip exceeded my expectations! We knew we would be viewing the spectacular beauty of Lake Como, but what I didn’t expect was the history lessen regarding the prominent villas on the shores of the lake! We not only learned who owned them currently or who previously owned them, but how some of them are still owned by the same families over the centuries. We also learned about 2 different villas that were used in films like Star Wars, The Devil Wears Prada and a James Bond Film! We were able to swim as well, which was refreshing due to the heat. We did sit in the shade throughout our trip, so we weren’t in the blistering sun during our ride. There, unfortunately wasn’t enough wind to open the sails, but that really wasn’t an issue. We were served beverages and small bite sandwiches for our trip, but eat prior or bring enough to eat for a 3 hour tour. We were pleased with our skipper Giacamo, from Florence, was amazing and an incredible historian of Lake Como! We highly recommend this trip, and Cristina was also very communicative leading up to our trip. 100% worth every penny we spent!

Awesome master cooking class!!!

Beatrice was wonderful!!!! This was a great and fun class where we made ravioli and tagliatelle. I have never tasted better pasta and I will never buy pasta in a box again! Beatrice was a great teacher guiding us in all the recipes and techniques to make these wonderful dishes. She also shared her homemade tiramisu and gelato that was molto delizioso!!! I highly recommend this for anyone that loves to cook.

Excellent Day Trip from Milano to Lake Como!

Very well organized, full-day trip from Milano to Lake Como. The communication with the tour operator was excellent prior to the tour and all instructions were very clear. Bus was clean and comfortable, and our guide, Chiara was excellent. She explained all of the meeting points and times clearly and did a great job of narrating the tour in both English and Spanish. The trip from Milano to the lake is only about one hour, followed by 90 minutes of time to explore the town of Como. Traveler tip: free bathroom in MacDonalds on the 2nd floor! After that, its a 2 hour boat ride to Bellagio, making stops along the way and seeing all of the picturesque towns on both sides of the lake. Another 2 hour stop in Bellagio, which is very beautiful. We opted to eat lunch in a restaurant, which was excellent (La Dolce Vita), but then we had less time to explore the town. If you can bring some food or grab a snack on the boat ride, you will maximize your time exploring Bellagio. Another 15 minute boat ride across to Mennagio to get back on the bus to Milan, which was about 2 hours. All in all, if you've only got one day to see Lake Como, I'd say this is a great tour option to maximize your time.

Our guide was...

Our guide, Ignatio, was informative, thoughtful and clear. He said enough without saying too much. We travelled by bus to Lugano and after a brief tour identifying key options we were left to explore on our own which was great. Part 2 was travelling by bus along Lake Lugano to reach Menaggio from where we boarded a boat to Bellagio. Again after a short explanation, ( and you could ask whatever you wanted to ) we had 3 hours to explore independently. We then met to board the ferry, being given priority accessible the MANY people queued to board . Then for nearly 2 he's we cruised to different ports arriving eventually at Como. Some key mansions/ villas were identified through the voice box on the final stage of the journey. A truly wonderful 9 hours.

Spectacular hospitality!

Perfect evening! Anna was a very friendly and welcoming host! She welcomed us with a nice selection of apéritives and wine and made us feel right at home. The pasta and tiramisu making process was really fun and we look forward to making them back at home! Everything was excellent and the food was so yummy! We definitely recommend it!
