Great tour with Yuya, our personable guide. He has a good command of English and made us comfortable in the rickshaw. We went thru a path only for rickshaws and he was able to take beautiful pictures minus the crowd. He knew where the good spots were which saved us time searching for them walking on our feet. Amazing day in Kyoto!!

Katsu was absolutely amazing and made our day in Kyoto so seamless and fun. He’s a Kyoto local and took us around to all of the main attractions while sharing so much interesting history and local knowledge that we definitely would have missed on our own. He also took tons of photos for us throughout the day, which we really appreciated. Beyond being a great guide, Katsu was just so normal, kind, and easy to spend the day with — which honestly makes such a difference on a full-day tour. His car was very clean and comfortable, and he was incredibly accommodating, stopping anytime we needed water or a bathroom break. He really catered the entire day to what we wanted to do, including lunch. We mentioned we wanted sushi, and he took us to an amazing local spot that we never would have found ourselves. It felt like spending the day with a knowledgeable local friend and told him to visit us in San Diego! I was nervous since this tour was not as big but was soooooo impressed! Highly recommend Katsu if you’re visiting Kyoto!

Khan is the man with the...

Khan is the man with the plan! We had a wonderful outing from Kyoto. Khan was polite and so accommodating to all of our wishes. He walked us to the sites, gave us some tourist information and was always sure to pick us up right where he said he would be. He suggested stops we may not have considered but was quick to assure us that they were only suggestions. They were great suggestions though! He's an excellent driver and knows the area well. Highly recommend khan !

Made navigating Kyoto easy

This tour was the best. We were in Kyoto for just the day from Tokyo. Guide (Sean) picked us up at train station, we asked for a later pickup, they accommodated. Tour included a driver and guide. Dropped us close to shrines and temples. Sean toured us through them and gave good information. We could have done what we wanted or they have preset itinerary. Nice to have someone choose for you. Drop off at train station and helped us find restaurant for dinner. For the cost this was excellent!

Magical tour in Magical Kyoto!

Our tour in Kyoto was amazing! Kyoto is a magical city especially during Sakura blooming! Our guide Takuma managed to show us Kyoto’s most iconic sights as well as the city’s hidden gem and treasures. Fantastic tour worth every penny. Kyoto has a lot to see and having a private car with driver in ADDITION to tour guide is a huge benefit. You can get dropped off by entrance of each destination and then picked up by the exit. Very convenient! Our tour guide Ken Yokosuka was FANTASTIC. Professional, friendly. Morning Bike Ride

Our family had a great time. Going in the morning is definitely the way to go as Arashiyama can definitely get busy quick. We went in the spring so it was a bit cold during the beginning part of the ride, but gloves are provided. Don, our guide, was very knowledgeable of the area and Japanese culture. Our kids had a great time. Would definitely recommend for families with kids.

Brilliant Experience

A highlight of our trip. I unexpectedly found myself in a wheelchair unable to walk lots so this was a way to see the city still and it turned out to be one of our best Japanese experiences. We had Fumi and Kai as our guides and they were funny, knowledgeable, chatty and incredibly fit! We saw so much in our 2 hours with time to explore various areas.
