Excellent and Organized
Very well organized tour. Our tour leader was great at the schedule and getting us all where we needed to be. Thebtour guide at Auschwitz was fantastic. He was so knowledgeable and passionate about his work. It added to the overall experience. And, finally, our bus driver was excellent. He was very safe and professional. Highly recommend!

Perfect trip.
Definitely recommended. Our tour was operated by Thousand Miles Tours and they were faultless. Everything ran perfectly thanks to our driver and guide Merik, our guide, was very knowledgeable and kept us all informed during our journey. His recommendation for lunch was very much appreciated as the food was delicious. The hot pools experience was fantastic. I would do the same trip again with the same tour company, driver and guide.

From Mountain Air to Steaming Waters: A Zakopane & Thermal Pools Review
We were picked up promptly from the collection point and began our journey to Zakopane. From start to finish, the experience was absolutely breathtaking. The scenery is stunning, and Zakopane itself is a truly beautiful place.
On the way, we stopped to see the traditional 16th‑century wooden houses, which was fascinating to learn about and amazing to see still standing and in use today. It really added to the authenticity of the trip.
Ending the day at the thermal pools was the perfect way to relax and unwind — a real highlight and exactly what we needed after a full day of exploring.
Our guide, Lara, was excellent: very knowledgeable, well organised, and always gave clear instructions, which made the whole day run smoothly and stress‑free.
A must‑see experience and worth every penny. We travelled as 2 adults and 1 child and would highly recommend this tour to families as well.

A must that everyone should experience.
An exceptional and deeply moving experience. Our driver’s communication was flawless — messaging ahead to confirm pick up and arranging a packed lunch that was well worth it. He guided us smoothly through every stage of the trip. Our English speaking guide was equally outstanding; her personal connection to Auschwitz added a powerful depth to the tour. Her knowledge, professionalism, and compassion brought humanity to a place filled with sorrow. An unforgettable and profoundly respectful visit.

Well organised
It's a long day. The camps are Worth seeing but tough at time. There is a lot of walking involved so be prepared. Bring food or snacks or or lunch from your operator. Thomas was our driver and guide and did an excellent job. Please tip the driver when getting off the bus something small as it's a long day for him also

Their Memories Must Never Leave!
Viator has again organised another memorable and for this experience, truly poignant.
You think you know about the horrors however you'll leave knowing more.
It is imperative that we keep their beautiful, gentle Souls Memories very much alive forever.
I left feeling humbled to have been part of this.
Thank you.

Exceptional communication and tour
Exceptional communication and company from pick-up from hotel, to driver to each tour, to the guides as well as back to drop-off. It's a long day and the tours require a faster pace walking given the volume of tourists wanting to visit each site. We were blessed with a great group on our van (very comfortable and you are able to leave your belongings on it while touring each site).

Auschwitz & Birkenau with tour guide Lucy
Our Auschwitz & Birkenau Tour from Krakow was very well organised, but unfortunately our trip pick up was pushed back by 1 hr & 30 min which gave us less time to go around..!
Our tour guide Lucy was amazing & took us around both camps!
She didn’t rush us even tho it was getting dark..
Lucy was very knowledgeable and answered all the questions, Would highly recommended her. Thank you 🫶

The first 10 mins are the worst part of the trip descending the staircase...once at the first level then you can begin to enjoy the tour and get an insight into the work of a salt miner...unbelievable lifelike salt statue of Pope John Paul ll , Da Vinci's Last Supper carved into a wall and the Chapel are wow moments...transfers from hotel to bus pick up point were punctual and we were kept informed regularly via WhatsApp with prompt answers to any questions
Enjoy...I know we did

The staff were extremely...
The staff were extremely attentive, polite and knowledgeable, the early start proved to be a good idea as other groups were obviously in attendance, said groups being very big compared to our group of about 9 people so our experience was that much more personal.
A lot of walking so be prepared, basically walking for at least 5 hours but definitely worth it. Our driver also provided a packed lunch at short notice(offered at a small cost).

Recommended half day trip
We were picked up from our hotel, the driver Artur arrived on time and was very clear during the morning so we knew how to contact him.
The salt mine was definitely worth the visit, the tour guide was very pleasant, she was very knowledgeable about the history of the mine and answered any questions.
Amazing salt sculptures especially the main chamber.
The mine was comfortable, lots of stairs to go down but the lift brings you back up.

Great and Eye-Opening
The pickup from the hotel was on time and the driver was great. The tour guide is not the driver but you meet the guide at the location in Auschwitz. The first part is a tour through the buildings and then you drive to the second location in Birkenau with the same guide. Such a fascinating experience and sad all at the same time. I went in the winter, so it made me think about the conditions at this time they must have gone through.
I was staying in Krakow so it’s about an hour and a half drive each way.

With its medieval architecture, thriving nightlife, and storied past, Krakow often feels like a contradiction. Krakow tours help you understand the city's complex, vibrant soul. Join an expert guide to hear local history on a tour of the UNESCO-listed Old Town and Wawel Castle, learn more about the darker spans of history on a tour of the Auschwitz-Birkenau Museum, or live it up while bar-hopping in Krakow’s hottest neighborhoods. No matter what you choose, Krakow tours can help you see the city through a new lens.
