The guys were great and friendly ! The snorkel spot was crowded on the 9am with others there that shouldn’t have been. They made the call to take a little ride and wait, which I appreciated. Once we did get in they were helpful to locate some turtles. There were only 2 when we went, but happy we were able to see some. Plenty of fish though. Would recommend them to others though!

Having travelled extensively in many countries, I’ve learned that a great guide can make all the difference between simply seeing a place and truly understanding it. Tyler Marsh was one of those guides. His knowledge of Oahu, Hawaiian culture, history, and local life was outstanding, but what really stood out was his ability to present it all in a relaxed, engaging, and entertaining way. He kept the entire group interested throughout a full day of touring and was always happy to answer questions. The scenery around Oahu is spectacular, but Tyler’s commentary, stories, and local insights added a dimension that we would never have experienced on our own. He was professional, friendly, punctual, and clearly passionate about sharing his island with visitors. This was one of the best guided tours we’ve taken in Hawaii. Highly recommended, and Tyler deserves every one of these five stars

Gordan was an outstanding tour guide and person. He very knowledgeable about the sites and history of Hawaii. Very flexible in our schedule and offered suggestions on sites to see. We had an absolutely awesome time. I would highly recommend this tour if you want to see the island.

We met at the business address and were transported in a van by the tour guide to the farm (not a long ride). It was her first day on the job taking group herself. She was knowledgeable and shared a lot of information. We arrived at the farm (yes, there’s a bathroom) to walk a small portion where she shared some basics of the farming process. Then we went into the “tree house” where we tested chocolate. I personally enjoyed the informational part of the tour better than the taste testing. I do like chocolate, but perhaps my palette prefers the cheap stuff?

Such an amazing full island tour!! The Best part was our amazing tour guide, Captain Vince, who went over and above with his knowledge of the history of Hawaii, teaching us the language, & his humor, & making us feel like family!! He even took pics with ours & his own phone, that he shared with us. He Absolutely MADE this tour enjoyable & worth every minute!! You won't regret taking this tour & if you get Captain Vince you will have an Epic experience! Mahalo Nui Loa.

We had a great tour of the island-with Johnny . He is very punctual, patient and knowledgeable not only with Hawaii’s history but the world as well. He made our day very enjoyable with his good sense of humour and knowledge he shared with us. We would definitely book with this company and hope we get Johnny as our driver again!

We loved the Island History. The whole tour was the best. I can’t believe that Chief Rob kept us engaged and listening to the Island Legends and history the whole time. My husband and I come to the Islands at least every year since we’ve been married for 35 years and we do the Circle Island Tour whenever we are here for a week. This was one of the best tours we have been on because of the authenticity, honesty, humble and real fun stories and even jokes and laughter. Chief Rob knows the Island inside and out, edge to edge. He gave us a deeper appreciation of the Islanders, true Hawaiians and he also educated us how to love each other with the Aloha Spirit (my husband and I immediately practiced putting our foreheads together and breathing and sharing our spirit with each other) Today my husband picked up some plastic that he found on the ground, and I am more cautious not to let any of our items become garbage left on the ground (I already do that, but I better aware of taking care of the Island) We will also enjoy the food recommendations today for sure. Lastly the Island roads that took us around the island were a bit difficult to navigate however with Chief Rob at the helm we knew we were taken cared of. About 10 years ago I went on a snorkeling tour and our tour guide did not mention anything about murky water possibly being not good to swim in, so there were a group of us who opted to go snorkeling. Shortly after we came home, just a week later, ai developed an ear infection in both ears. It was because of the bacteria in the water. I just want to say, Chief Rob, went above and beyond and was honest and I love that about the Tour yesterday. He mentioned that the waters would be a little muddy because of the high winds and the forecast of high surf advisory. We even saw that the water was murky and he still asked if there would be anyone interested in either snorkeling or just swimming. While no one on our bus chose to snorkel because of the obvious conditions of murky brown waters, again I just want to point out that Chief Rob had our best interest at heart and truly took care of all of us! I am sad that he will be retiring soon. I hope that the people he trains who work for Rainbow Island Tour have the same Spirit, Mission, and Passion and Love of the Islands and the people, as Chief Rob! Aloha and Mahalo Chief Rob! This was a great way to get to see a lot of the island in a short time frame. We really enjoyed the mix of look out views, more tourist stops, and hidden treasures (like a really good lunch at a local shrimp restaurant). Our guide Nevin was really knowledgeable and accommodating. If you haven't been to Oahu before, this will give you a great start to getting to know the sights/locations so you can plan the rest of your trip depending if you wanted adventure or relaxation.
