This is a great tour to see the city of Hanoi. This private half-day tour with our guide, Tom was what made it special . He was English speaking, very knowledgeable in telling us the history of what we was seeing, he was easy to be with, he answered all our questions we had and even related personal stories of his life in Vietnam. We particularly enjoyed seeing the ancient pagodas and the Hoa Lo prison. Plus, the Train street is a must-see experience! The driver of our car took good care of us, the car was large and comfortable . We want to thank Tom for being our guide and would highly recommended him to anyone looking for a great guide for Hanoi!

Excellent day trip to Ninh Binh

Brilliant day trip to Ninh Binh with tour leader Binh and driver Mr Ha. They ensured our safety, comfort and enjoyment throughout the day. A well paced day that included trekking, cycling , lunch and a boat trip, thoughtfully organised and adapted timings due to the hot weather conditions so we walked in the cooler part of the day. Binh shared so much information about the area and the history of Vietnam- thank you to both Binh and Mr Ha.

Highly recommended Ninh Binh tour from Hanoi

Tom and Jerry were our driver and tour guide. We found both excellent. We travelled to Ninh Binh in a luxury van with a small group. The activities were well planned and flexible due to the heat and humidity. The 500 step climb up was hard but the view was worth it. The lunch was delicious with the opportunity to try some local dishes. The bike ride to the pagoda was easy and the favourite activity. The paddle boat ride on the river was pleasant and relaxing. Highly recommend Jerry and this tour. 10/10!

Great way to see Hanoi

This was an amazing tour! We loved the open jeep experience and saw the real Hanoi- all the tourist places + the back alleys. We loved our guide Ryan who was very knowledgeable and took good care of. The dinner places was amazing as well, very unique and the food was great! They were able to very well accommodate our vegan food request.

Ninh Binh tour is beautiful and active.

We got picked up in a nice luxury bus. We then went to Ninh Binh where we first rode bikes for 2 km. Stopped at a temple in the ancient capital and then had a buffet lunch. After we went to ride a 1 hour boat ride on the river through the caves and mountains. We finished things up by going on a hike up one of the mountains. Lots of movement and lots of opportunities for neat experiences! Our tour guide Hai Dang was very helpful and informative!

The private tour for a day trip in Ninh Binh was great. They picked us up at our hotel, and our guide, Tran, was very knowledgeable about the area and Vietnamese history, so we were able to learn a lot. He was super helpful throughout the day and was aLeah’s enthusiastic. The activities were all well planned and time out, so we could enjoy it at a good pace before moving onto the next thing. The bike ride especially was an awesome way to see Ninh Binh and we got to stop and see lots of animals on the road. We definitely recommend for anyone interested in seeing Ninh Binh.

It was amazing! Quick, professional and really helpful. Actual immigration line was short but I still felt special taken to diplomat express line. They took our passports and we went to pick up luggage’s and they brought our passports back. It was not needed to but great experience asa. One and done.

Our trip was great! Our guide Johnny was very knowledgable and attentive for the 7 hour excursion. Easy to find him at the cruise ship port, and quick loading on to the boat. We had 18 passengers, and could have had room for at least 30, so lots of space, which was nice. Clean, available bathrooms. Soda, beer, water available for sale ($1-2 USD), and you do get 1 free with lunch. The itinerary was different than what was on Viator, but it all ended up being great. Went to an oyster & pearl farm, Sung Set Cave, then had lunch (so much food! A set menu, and it just kept coming. After lunch, we visited Luon Cave - we had options to take a bamboo boat (included), kayak (included) or speedboat (~$17 USD), and we had enough time to do 2 of the 3! Finally, we also stopped at Titov Isle - has a viewpoint with about 450 steps, which I didn't do, but we had enough time here to allow that. We stayed at the beach/shops area, which was pretty small. Swimming was allowed, but again, it was very small, so we didn't go in. Johnny was a great guide and the boat crew were wonderful! Great way to see the cool bay area.

What a great excursion! We had a great tour guide for Ninh Binh. Our accommodations that evening were very nice. The cruise ship and accommodations were spectacular. Just wish we could have fit in an extra night! Food was great and the service was exceptional. They helped us book a ride directly to the airport and their communication was top notch. Great way to see ha long bay.

Well organized tour lasting about 24 hours. The staff worked really hard to make everything go seamlessly. They give you an itinerary right at the very start and stick to it throughout the time. The staff were very pleasant and service oriented. The facilities were good just as they look in the photos. The food was great, the scenery speaks for itself, and the boating/kayaking/swimming/cooking class, etc.. were all good things to keep you occupied. There were small just sufficient breaks so it didn't feel rushed. I also enjoyed meeting other travelers in a setting that was small enough <50 passengers, that you got to talk to people if you wanted to do so.
