The tour was good but the itinerary was quite different to what was on the website, and the guide was not able to make changes as that was what she had been instructed to do. Once we adjusted our expectations we learnt a lot about some of the sights, and we would not have got as much out of the tour without our guide. Our tour guide was lovely with quite good English

Dear, thank you very much for using our service. Your half day tour with a limited time covering most of the famous sites and you already had all sites mentioned in the program. Unfortunately, you asked for a change so late once the tour almost finished so it was impossible. We hope that your feedback should have more details.
Thank you very much!

LAN was a fantastic guide, informative and funny:) the school of literature was my fave spot, there was so much history I didn’t know.

This tour is perfect for first timers to Hanoi and helps you get aquainted with the city. Guide and driver were exceptional. Lan, our guide, was very good at telling us about each place and was super friendly. She went out of her way to assist us throughout the tour.

The guide was friendly and seemed knowledgeable about Vietnam’s history, though he appeared quite young and somewhat inexperienced. Unfortunately, we missed 3 of the 7 places listed in the itinerary. We also just missed a train we were trying to catch and had to wait about 40 minutes for the next one, which cost us some time.
There was also some confusion about the egg coffee/tea that was supposed to be included in the package. Initially, the guide asked us to pay for it, but after we asked him to double-check with his team, he confirmed that the drinks would be covered. During this process, we were taken up and down the busy train street several times with our elderly parents while trying to find a cheaper café. In the end, they did cover the drinks at a slightly more expensive café, which we appreciated.
Overall, the experience was pleasant, but the itinerary felt a bit rushed. Trying to fit so many stops into a half-day tour made it difficult to see everything comfortably; it would likely work better as a full-day tour.

Ken was our tour guide and Vinh was our driver. We had a wonderful time on this tour. We went to the Temple of Literature and Ho Chi Min mosoleum among other places. Ken share Vietnamese history in depth. He answered all of our questions and made our time together very enjoyable. I highly recommend booking a tour.

Visited places advertised except Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum & Museum(closed but we were told this). Guide was informative & flexible. He also bought us some fruits to try at the market.Added a stop at silk weaving place too.
This company also offer airport drop off for a reasonable fee.

Well paced tour and our guide - Linh was excellent. Glad we took this tour. Although we had seen videos of the train through the market it was great to experience it firsthand.

This was a great day! Lihn was an amazing guide. He had very interesting historical context stories for each place we visited. Everything well well choreographed to make the most of the day. Very friendly and a delight to be around.

We were very lucky to have Lan as our guide in Hanoi. She is very knowledgeable and passionate about sharing her knowledge with others. We need to admit that are not the 'easiest' travellers as we have a lot of questions about the history, language, culture and Lan knew the answers to all of them. We had a great introduction to Vietnam's culture and history which helped us a lot during our trip to this marvellous country. Lan also gave us great food recommendations in the city. We learnt a lot, laught a lot! Was a great tour but this is all thanks to the one and only Lan! Looking forward to seeing you again! Marta and Tiago

We had a great day with Lan. We customized our tour with her to visit the sites we had not yet seen. She was very knowledgeable, energetic and passionate about what she did. We learned a great deal on this tour and are very happy we did it. Would definitely recommend for a 1/2 day outing!

This is a perfect tour if you want to see many things in a short time! Khanh was a very knowledgeable guide and gave us lots of good information at each site. Be warned that Sundays are extremely busy at the sites and HoChiMinh mausoleum closes early. Overall great tour though, train street is a very cool experience.
Paul_M, Nov 2025

What a great introduction to Hanoi. Our guide Anna was so informative and an absolute delight. We covered some areas of historical importance and cultural significance whilst getting a good understanding of how the city works. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Hanoi.

tour guide was amazing. thank you also for adjusting our IT and squeezed in our request since Museum was closed.
Jimmy_S, Oct 2025
Enjoyed the tour with Ken. He listened to our requests and crafted a great tour. His dry wit kept us smiling despite typhoon rain conditions.
Russell_T, Oct 2025
Introduced us to the city of Hanoi, with knowledgeable explanations. Show us around the places of interest which we would have missed with the beginning of our scheduled 22 day tour of Vietnam & Cambodia.
Octave_B, Sep 2025
Sam was an excellent tour guide! He took great care of us and was very knowledgeable. The Train Street experience was super cool and Sam had pre-arranged a table reservation for us. It was a great day.
Cindy_P, Sep 2025
You saw a variety of places in the old part of Hanoi. From a market to Ho Chi Minhs mausoleum to the train street. Our guide Linh was very knowledgeable and was able to answer all our questions even ones that didn't relate to the tour.
Mukshedur_R, Sep 2025

A fantastic tour of Hanoi with Ken. He gave detailed information on all the sights. His knowledge about Vietnamese history was excellent. A great way to learn about Hanoi if you have a short amount of time. Ken gave us a recommendation for dinner near our hotel too and the food was fabulous.
Sandeep_C, Aug 2025
Sam was a good tour guide and very knowledgeable as well.Showed us the important landmarks of Hanoi City.
Barry_C, Aug 2025
Great tour. Very informative and Sam is a brilliant guide. Ask him to share some Buddhist philosophy at no extra charge 🤣
Malaika_M, Jul 2025
100% recommended if you’re looking to cover ground and learn a lot of the Vietnamese culture. You can pick out these locations and visit them independently but why do so when you could have someone walk and talk you through the whole experience.
Our guide - Mr Linh and driver - Mr Am aka Mr Safety (🤣) were very welcoming and patient with us. Mr Linh has so much knowledge which was shared and gave us insights into some hidden gems in the city. He was engaging and even got my teenagers to actively engage and speak which, for anyone with teenagers, is no mean feat!
If you’re looking to cover ground in a quick afternoon and tick a lot of the boxes in half a day then this is right for you!
Ntuthuko_K, Jul 2025
This tour was really great but the highlight of our tour was definitely our guide Sam! He was so well informed, witty and humorous. After our tour we wished we could have had him as our guide for the rest of our Vietnam trip. Definitely book this trip because you will learn so much from Sam and you’ll never feel bored. He took us to amazing places and took really good care of us while there. Don’t hesitate, book today!

As others have already shared, Lyna is a terrific tour guide. I had to book this tour for 2 people, even though I was by myself. Even so, the cost was well worth it. Lyna is very knowledgeable about her country and its history. She took great care to make sure I had a good experience, which I appreciated.
CHARLIE_V, Jun 2025
Was a bit disappointed with this tour. We had to cut short the tour because the tour guide had other commitments.
