Highly recommend - great small bus with very comfortable chairs. The boat was great and not too many people with nice food. Our tour guide was very organised and friendly and funny.

Great day - bit of a drive to get there but we loved it. Kayaking, speed boat, cave walking - lunch was good too. Johnny was our guide and was ace!

Yes, go to Hal Long Bay, but NO, do not do it with this tour. The morning started good with a pickup and a nice vehicle for transportation. However, when we got to the port, we were told that there was 90 minutes before our boat trip! I would have much prefered to have some of that time to sleep a little longer. The boat was okay, but not much shade on the top deck (and the umbrullas were mostly ripped and not in good shape). For the return trip, I got assigned to a different bus. It was old and slow. The driver never went above 80 km/h (on a road with a 120 km/h speed limit). All the other tours kept flying past us and it ultimately took over an hour extra to get back to Hanoi. While Ha Long Bay is beautiful and worth going, I would not recommend chosing this particular tour.

We did a day trip from Hanoi. Round trip on a bus is about 7-8 hours long so expect to arrive back in Hanoi late in the evening.
First time travelers will appreciate the limestone cliffs, the cave, and short boat ride to a lagoon, It’s a popular destination so expect huge crowds everywhere.
What I didn’t like is the obligatory side trip to a pearl shop. And the buffet in the “luxury” boat did not include drinks with your meal.
It’s worth doing first time to tick your bucket list. But would not recommended a repeat visit.

It was such an amazing experience
I totally recommend it. It was so nice to see different places. The tour guide was very funny and very informative. He made the trip a great experience. The only thing I would recommend for improvement to all cruise ships to arrive at the cave in turns as it was overcrowded inside the cave by some point.

What an experience from start to finish I can't falter anything. I first want to thank Viator for the recommendation the trip lived up to what was promised. Hien set the tone for my trip, very friendly, good sense of humour and treated everyone equally and with respect. Very knowledgeable and explained all the sights in a fun and capturing way. There was no boredom just exhilarating adventures. From the tour bus to the cruise ship 5 star standard. Mouth watering buffet all the food was fresh and tasty. My highlights were the caves and the speed boat activities, I wish I could have experienced the kayaking but unfortunately the heat was just too much for me. This exceeded my expectations I highly recommend to everyone it is worth the hype.

We had a great experience exploring Halong Bay. The sights were amazing, the Sapphire ship was very nice - clean bathrooms, good food and good air conditioner. The Surprising Cave and speed boat activities were the best parts. I would’ve skipped Ti Top island as it was overcrowded.

If you're thinking about taking this trip, just go for it. It is ABSOLUTELY worth it. Our guide Johnny was amazing and helped us from the very first second until we were back in our Airbnb. The rest of the crew were also catering to our every need all the time. I can't believe how much is offered for the price we paid. 11/10 recommended.

We had an amazing day out with this cruise. Despite the weather being bad initially we soldiered on and had a wonderful time as the weather cleared. The staff were brilliant with exceptional service and hospitality. We loved the jacuzzi and spent quite a bit of time in there. This is a fun crew and our cruise was definitely the party boat of Halong Bay. Thanks for a great day out!

This was an amazing day! From start to finish Johnny (walker) briefed us with the day’s activities mixed with humour! Made everyone feel comfortable from the get go!! Once we got started on the cruise, he was very descriptive of how our day was going to play out and it went perfectly! Buffet lunch was a bit hectic, but the tours and information about what we were doing were on point without being over the top!!! Amazing tour today, would absolutely recommend to anyone, and it was a steal at the price point. Thank you!!

Everything went well and on time from hotel pickup to the tour and back to the hotel. Johnny was our tour guide was very helpful and attentive. He spoke good English and gave instructions clearly. We never had any issues. I highly recommend this tour.

Nguyen was a great tour. The tour takes you via bus to Ha Long Bay, where you see oyster and pearl farms before you go onto your ship. The cruise has plenty of restrooms to use and is quite spacious. We had plenty of food and beverages throughout. We especially enjoyed the speedboat portion of the tour. The service was excellent. There are, however, many other tours and so the locations can become quite crowded.
