Absolutely awesome day in Halifax
Paul, the gentleman who runs the tour just literally made my day. Very organized, very friendly, trustworthy just in time person with an incredible expertise in Halifax history. I spent a day with a group of other people with Paul. It was incredible. Strongly recommend this tour for everyone.

Nice Trip to Peggy’s Cove
Nice drive out to Peggy’s Cove with our driver, Nav. Super-nice guy with lots of stories about Halifax and the surrounding area. The ride was pleasant, Nav was a good driver, and we got to spend 2 hours walking around Peggy’s Cove. We didn’t feel rushed and the day was beautiful, so we took our time checking out the small town. All in all, a very nice day! Many thanks to Nav for letting us sit back and enjoy his tales!

So much fun!
This was an incredibly complete experience, full of beautiful sights, intriguing historical anecdotes, and actually witty repartee courtesy of our guides, Katherine and Liam. We had been considering a second boat tour of just the harbor, but this one was so good and fun that we didn’t feel a second was necessary. The key to the awesomeness of this experience was Katherine’s rapid-fire delivery; she filled every minute of the tour with memorable stories of the city and the Hopper, and still had time to take photos for travelers on the tour.

Very very positive experience!
Full day touring quite a large part of Nova Scotia. Scenic drive between the different stops. Great opportunity to witness the change in colours of the trees in the autumn. The day was well balanced between driving time and visiting times. Our guide Evan was very friendly and extremely knowledgeable about the region, the fauna and flora, the local food and restaurant scene and many more subjects that filled our conversations during the day. He paced the tour really well, stopping at places that were planned in the tour description, but also stopping at lovely cafés and shops on the way for a taste of local products.
He gave us options for places to visit depending on individual participants' tastes during the tour and kindly shared great ideas to continue exploring Halifax after the tour. Altogether a very pleasant day and a safe drive to lovely spots in this part of Nova Scotia! Thank you Evan for being such a highly motivated and enlightening guide!

Great tour if you dont have much time
There was a slight change in pick up venue but still only a short walk from cruise ship. Stuart our tourguide was there a few minutes early. There was only 3 of us which meant plenty of room in the vehicle. First stop was the Citadel. We had 45 minutes here but in reality you need much longer to do the place justice. Lots of information and displays to view and read as well as actually exploring the fort as well.
We then had about 10 minutes at the Titanic war graves which was fine.
The main stop was Peggy's Cove. It was about a 45min drive out through fantastic and changing scenery. We ended up with about an hour at the Cove which allowed enough time to visit the Lighthouse on the rocks as well as gift shops and walk around the village. It was a beautiful day and views stunning.
If you have more time to spare I would advise booking a full day tour to give more time at the Citadel and Peggy's Cove.
The tour guide was very knowledgeable and very helpful and pointed out the 'must do's at the stops. Definitely recommend if like me, you only had a short time in port.

Great value, relaxing & informative tour
This was a wonderful, worthwhile day trip from Halifax. We left the city before 9 and were back by 5pm or so. The tour guide Robert was informative, helpful and took us to the best photo spots and made a wonderful recommendation for a lobster place away- out of the tourist spots. The van was clean and comfortable and Robert drove us safely. We had a decent amount of time in each location. Peggy’s cove was really lovely.

Perfect day on the water
This was a very relaxing and fun boat trip. Even with lack of wind for sailing, our crew gave us a great tour of the Halifax area, answered questions, and we had an enjoyable ride. We even got a great restaurant recommendation that was off the beaten path. It was wonderful. We can highly recommend this tour.

Great way to see the south shore
First, this is more like a full day tour than 1/2 day and Paul is great. Beautiful Nova Scotia south shore and loved Lunenburg. Paul provided a wonderful historic perspective and has onboard entertainment to fill the void between stops. Paul makes great recommendations for things to see and where to eat. The Salt Shaker in Lunenburg for lunch was a great place to eat…it will be busy though.

1st visit to George's Island after living in Halifax for 20 yrs in total over my life
Very friendly, laid-back & accommodating staff on the boat & the island. Great tunnel tour, full of interesting information. Learned some new things that I hadn't already known (or remembered) from other tours. Like the option to buy a ticket for whatever time suits you, and then stay until the last boat. We stayed for two hours, but nice to know you could extend that if you wished, by going over earlier. Reminder to travellers that there are toilets on the island but no running water, so be sure to bring water (or snacks) if needed.

Great 2 hours to start kick start our vacation.
This outing was very affordable. The wind gets a bit chilly, bring a hoodie.
Sit on the Port side of the boat for the best sunset pictures. Don't be shy about going uptop to get good pics too. The live music was a bonus. It was a fabulous evening. Thank you.
