Lundenberg....not a tour to remember

The tour was very superficial. Our guide repeated descriptions such as "there's a lake," but would not name the lake. He would repeatedly state "this is ocean water," or "this is a property owner's rock barrier." I am not stating he would say it one or two times. He would repeat the same phrase 5-10 times. He would tell my companions to take pictures of a door and when he inquired why, the answer was "it looked nice." Finally, I assumed that since this was a private tour we would be able to have some input into the sites we wished to see. Peggy's Cove and the Titanic Museum were rejected by him. When asked specific questions about the objects or the city of Lundenberg. The answer was "I don't know." He could not recommend a restaurant that served local cuisine that I assume someone who is giving a city tour of his chosing, not the guests' choice, would know. Our party of four was very disappointed in the tour.LUN

Private country tour with Bruce

Bruce was an excellent guide and we had a wonderful private tour to Lunenburg. Watching the large tour buses drop off their passengers to wander up & down those big hills in town on their own was sad to see. We saw & learned so much about the town plus has some free time for lunch or shopping. Bruce took us around beautiful lakes & country roads. He was great!

Skip the cruise ship bus and take a private tour with Bruce. Very enjoyable and informative tour. Bruce really knows the area. Well worth the price!

Bruce was great. He will help you get some great pictures. Very professional. Had entire itinery planned out. Spent over 7 hours with us and arranged great weather for us.

We loved this whole day which was thoughtfully planned. A good balance between drive & walkabouts to give you the best of these two towns. We also appreciated the information that Bruce shared throughout the tour, and his keen eye for helping us take the perfect pictures.

Glimpse of Lunenburg

Scenic ride to Lunenburg, stopping across from the town to get an overall view of the town and detailed views of the many buildings and homes that make up this UNESCO town. We enjoyed the lunch at one of the many restaurants. We took a different route going back to the highway to include a brief visit to Oak Island and the stories that goes with the television show set on the island.

Bruce was a fantastic tour guide who is very knowledgable and took the time to find great photo opportunities for the three of us. This is our second tour with Bruce and he is always on time, has a neat and tidy vehicle, and delivers what is promised. I highly recommend booking him for future tours in Nova Scotia.
