Good Tour - Very Bad customer service.

The tour was excellent. The booking process and customer service was dreadful. It took several days and many emails back and forth. I nearly gave up several times. Problems with the software (only given 1 minute to book instead of 20 mins, discount code worked at first but then didn't work, customer service would not answer my questions and kept giving me the same information relentlessly but not what I needed, I asked for email of whoever was in charge to complain - they ignored that. I've booked with Viator before and had no problems. The other thing is most tours you can only book for 2 persons. Hard luck if you are a solo traveller.

A full day of fun!

We enjoyed the various experiences! The tour guide was good about giving opportunities for bathrooms and even coffee/breakfast since pick up was early in the morning. The national park with the waterfall had decent bathrooms to change in and out of swimsuits. The guides new where the animals liked to hang out. The coffee and chocolate tasting was delicious. Only be ready for a lot of driving, which is unavoidable, honestly, if you want to see/do different things.

One of the best days of our lives!

We had such an amazing experience on our excursion in Costa Rica! Our tour guide, Bernie, was absolutely incredible from start to finish. He was extremely knowledgeable about Costa Rica, the wildlife, the history, and the area, and he made the entire experience both fun and educational. Most importantly, we always felt safe and well taken care of. Bernie was attentive, helpful, and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and were comfortable throughout the entire excursion. You could truly tell how passionate he is about what he does and how much he genuinely cares about giving people a great experience. Bernie made the excursion even more memorable for us, and we are so grateful we had him as our guide. I'm so happy that i booked this tour, the views were amazing, we hike for about 2 hours and enjoying everything inside the rain and dry forest. Spot a few birds, it was raining on off so i suggesting to bring a rain jacket..the view from up there are spectacular about 2000 feet high. After that we went to the water fall ( but we couldn't swim because of the rain) had a delicious lunch in a local restaurant with different options of food😋 and finally relaxed at the hot springs and take a bath with the volcanic mud,the water is so hot. Our guide was prepared and explained us everything about the tour, and also our driver Frank did a good job. I high recommend it 👌

We had such a fun time on...

We had such a fun time on our ATV tour! Gustavo was our guide, and he was absolutely great. He was funny, easy to talk to, and made us feel comfortable from the beginning. The whole experience was relaxed and fun, and he made sure we were having a good time throughout the entire ride. We got to stop at two beautiful beaches, stop at a restaurant, and enjoy some drinks along the way. It was such a fun way to explore Costa Rica and see more of the area. It actually started raining during our ride, but honestly, that just made the experience even more memorable! We didn’t let the rain stop us from having a great time. 😂 I would definitely recommend this ATV tour to anyone visiting Costa Rica! Gustavo was an awesome guide, and the combination of riding, beautiful beach stops, good food, drinks, and lots of laughs made this an experience we won’t forget. If you’re looking for something fun and adventurous to do, definitely add this to your Costa Rica itinerary! 🇨🇷❤️

Very fun, very safe, a little bit stinky

This was great! After a short safety briefing and a practice trip around a short track, you head out following the guide for a 2 hour jaunt through the forest, going over some pretty rough and muddy terrain. The ATVs are easy to control and can get up to a decent speed, and as long as you're being reasonably responsible, are perfectly safe -- we didn't feel like we were ever in danger of losing control or flipping the vehicle. There's a stop about halfway through at the river to stretch your legs, get wet if you want to, and have a quick snack, before you head back. There are some long stretches where you're driving on paved roads, which I found to be less fun than the muddy, rutted tracks in the forest, but overall this was a good time that I would do again. Two things to note: the description says there's an optional volcanic mud mask at the river, but our guide never mentioned it (not that I would have done it; the mud is not particularly inviting). Also, they provide helmets, but the helmets get quite warm and sweaty, and as a result they smell pretty bad. You get used to it (my partner has a delicate sense of smell and was fine) but it is a bit unpleasant in the beginning.

Great views, fun excursion

This was a fun sunset cruise. The views from the catamaran were amazing and we enjoyed the stop to snorkel and eat lunch. It was a little scary that the open bar was available prior to snorkeling, but all’s well that ends well? The boat guides were super nice and laid back - made for a very enjoyable afternoon.

We opted to do this arrival and departure. Arrival was a little hectic without having telephone service as soon as you arrive. However people who work at the airport were very helpful. Once communicated with driver everything was smooth. Departure was great driver arrived at the hotel early and we had a smooth ride to the airport.

It was very well organized, the guide in the sloth sanctuary was very good and discovered lots of animals which he helped us photograph through the binoculars. The lunch location was well selected, the food delicious. Highly recommended!

We went on a sunset catamaran tour in Playa Flamingo on Tuesday 7/2/2026. Despite the not so Ideal weather for a sunset cruise, the atmosphere on board was relaxing, fun, and perfectly organized. A special thank you to our amazing Lazy Lizard crew, who made the experience even more memorable. They were friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable, making everyone feel welcome from the moment we stepped on board. Their enthusiasm and excellent service created a fantastic experience for all guests.

Wonderful experience! The only potential downside is if someone doesn’t like crowds, the boat can get a fair amount of people on there, which can also add to the fun, but if you want a more private experience than that might be a distraction. Food was good, beautiful surroundings, saw sea turtle, and humpback whale!
