Amazing experience.

We were messaged and collected from near our Hotel all very well organised even sent a photo of the bus stop we were being collected at. John arrived in the Jeep and straight away started to share history make jokes etc what a great guy. Our Jeep was not crowded and it felt very relaxed. We saw other companies with people jammed in like sardines so we felt lucky that were with this company. The tour and experiences along the way were excellent. Got to swim in the spring and see the waterfall and even a turtle swimming with us. Everything was superb and it gave us a lovely opportunity to experience Portuguese life. Special thanks to our driver John whose personality and humour added a huge bonus to our trip.

This is a small group trip with comfy seating and shade on the boat, knowledgable and friendly captain, super customer service from the ticket office. Plenty of time on lighthouse island for lunch at the restaurant recommended by captain, delicious food and drink. Bring water, sun hat and screen.

This is one of the best tour i ever had. We had an absolutely wonderful experience on the tour with Geraldin Hung! She was incredibly friendly, warm, and welcoming from the very beginning, and she made the whole experience enjoyable and relaxed. Geraldin was knowledgeable, attentive, and always happy to answer our questions. What really stood out was her positive energy and the way she made everyone feel comfortable and included. She shared interesting information and local insights throughout the tour, which made the experience even more memorable. Everything was very well organised, and we never felt rushed. Relaxing sunset tour with beautiful views

We had a pleasant evening on this sunset tour. The sunset was beautiful, and the guide gave us a very good introduction to the Ria Formosa Natural Park, including the local environment and nature in the area. The tour is quite relaxed and slow-paced, so it may not be the most exciting activity if you are looking for something more action-packed, but that is really just the nature of this type of tour rather than a criticism. Everything was well organised, the scenery was lovely, and overall there was very little to fault. A nice and peaceful way to spend an evening in Faro.

Exceptional food tour with the lovely Esther! We enjoyed three restaurants; three sample plates at each along with a drink at each, plus water. The portion sizes were generous & the offerings varied. We left very full! Esther was attentive, clearly passionate about Faro, and answered all of our questions. She took great care of us and made many recommendations of places to eat, drink & visit throughout our stay. A dealbreaker for me is the tour guide being a local and passionate about their city. Esther was certainly that! Knowledgeable & engaging. Would recommend this tour to anyone who is interested. Personal highlights - pulled pork neck! We were very lucky to be the only two on this tour, so it was essentially private. I was impressed that the tour wasn’t cancelled due to this, as many other tour operators would have done so. Definitely a great way to get out on the water in Olhao

The boat was very nice and it was a small group of 12 people. I went in the 15:45 which was great because we got to watch sunset on the way back to the port. Loved visiting the 3 islands. Each one was different and had interesting vibes. Also plenty of opportunities to swim. Claudio and Sergio were our captains and guides. They were very fun, had a wealth of knowledge and made us feel very safe.

Diogo was wonderful

It was a wonderful boat ride to the islands. Diogo was very nice and polite. He talked a little bit about fiddler crabs, sea horses and some of the birds and the ecosystem around the islands. It was not an in depth discussion but that was okay for us. The Deserta Island was wonderful. We were able to swim/walk to one of the other islands. My 13 year old loved that. We got some ice cream and walked around Farol Island. For us we would have enjoyed spending more time at Deserta Island and less time at Farol Island. Overall it was a lovely trip.

Great Variety of Olives and other surprises

Experience was entertaining and interesting. We were shown the process and machines as well as being able to taste 5 varieties. The tasting included meat, cheese and breads as well as olive oil, sauces and a fig balsamic vinegar that was amazing. Several types of wine and home-made lemonade were served as well. The little shop had lots of product. This was well worth the time and money!!

Book to see the real Portugal 🇵🇹

I booked this trip through Viator, my daughter & I wanted to explore some of the countryside in the evening. 🇵🇹☀️. We met our driver close to our hotel which was excellent !✨He was very friendly & funny from start to end! He gave us lots of information along the way!✨ The Algarve is beautiful! We passed through a few villages, and our first stop was at a farm. We got to see peacocks, ducks, geese, chickens, goats, a pig & horse! 🦚🦆🐓🐐🐖🐴 We also got to taste honey, jams & ‘fire water’. So many drops are growing on this farm, it was really lovely. 🌱🌳🌶️ Our second stop was at a ‘custard pie factory’, but due to the time of our trip they’d sold out! 🤩 We had lemon meringue pie & cake which was so good.🍰🍥 Our next stop was at the ‘“Queda de agua do vigario” waterfall! 🌱💦 There are many steps down, but so worth it! Beautiful. Finally we went up into the mountains to watch the sun set at Messines. 🌅 Here you have 360 degrees view of the surrounding countryside! The sunset spot itself is beautiful! I definitely recommend you go on this trip, it’s super good value for money & I feel you get to see the ‘real’ Portugal, a must see! ❤️🇵🇹

Good value and good fun.

A great day visiting parts of the huge Rio de Formosa. Comfortable boat - most seats shaded. Be prepared to cop a bit of spray at times. Our guide, Joao, was a great skipper and had a good sense of humour. He provided a lot of information, made a point of interacting with all passengers early in the trip, and was happy to answer questions. Sunhat a must have for shore walking - lots of glare and heat and no trees. Plenty of options for lunch. Thank you, Joao.

5 Stars! Great conversation , great wine, and very full bellies.

This was a brilliant tasting tour of Faro. We came with hungry bellies and boy did we roll out the door of the final restaurant! Alessandra is lovely, knowledgeable and very gregarious - we had a great evening of conversation as well as enjoying some excellent food and excellent wine. 5 stars, would recommend !
