Our tour guide, Alessandra was truly a wonderful guide who was very personable and fun. She embarked us on a delightful culinary adventure with Portuguese tapas and local wines. It was as a nice introduction to Faro's vibrant food scene.

Not quite 5 stara, more like 4.95...It was a great little, local food tour... she customized the tour for a small group and we had a lot of food, with a lot of wine....Alessandra is very knowledgeable about the local food in the area. He has great relationships in the area and she took us to a restaurant that my hotel recommended, saving me some time! She actually allowed for different food/wine options and asked our opinion.... Normally, that doesn't happen on food and wine tours...She is super personable and I wish her well with her new house!
The tour was great. Barbara was an awesome guide. We got to sample many different traditional dishes and wines. We had tons of fun!
Great food and wonderful wine. Spent a good few hours touring various eateries. Good local dishes and wines.
This was a brilliant tasting tour of Faro. We came with hungry bellies and boy did we roll out the door of the final restaurant!
Alessandra is lovely, knowledgeable and very gregarious - we had a great evening of conversation as well as enjoying some excellent food and excellent wine. 5 stars, would recommend !

Great tour! We were lucky to be able to book this tour last minute. The food and wine were all superb. The tour guide, Alessandra, was friendly and knowledgeable.
We visited three restaurants and had pastries at a fourth location. Our tour guide was very friendly, knowledgeable and multilingual. The food was fabulous and we enjoyed visiting with another couple on the tour. We were able to try traditional Portuguese foods such as Arroz de Marisco. The wines were wonderful and we ended our meal with Port.
Acacia was a lovely tour guide. We tried various types of tapas and wine. Accommodations were made for me being vegetarian. Highly recommended.
