We had such a fantastic day trip to the Benagil caves and surrounding area today. From start to finish, everything ran like clockwork in the best possible way — it was clear that every detail had been carefully thought through. A huge part of what made the experience so special was our guide, Diana. She was incredibly kind, friendly, and knowledgeable, and brought such a fun, relaxed energy to the whole day. She struck the perfect balance between being informative and keeping things light and enjoyable. The organisation of the trip really stood out. From well-timed rest breaks to making sure the minibus was cooled down before we got back in, and even arranging shady spots for us to wait comfortably — it all made a big difference, especially in the heat. The free time at each stop was also really appreciated, giving us space to explore and take everything in at our own pace. A particularly nice touch was the WhatsApp group Diana created for everyone, which made communication easy and added to the sense of group connection. She also went above and beyond by taking photos for us — both as a group and individually — in some truly beautiful locations, which we’ll really treasure. Overall, a brilliantly organised and thoroughly enjoyable day. Highly recommend this tour, and especially Diana as a guide!

We met at the Faro train station and were part of a small van tour. Sebastian from start to finish was an excellent and informative tour guide, humorous and a very safe driver. We went to a viewpoint to get a breathtaking view of the coastline before heading to Benagil for a trip in a small boat to view the caves from the sea. The Benagil cave is world famous but can now only be viewed from boat or kayak. The thirty minute trip was amazing, to see these caves and arches really is a trip of a lifetime. Don’t worry about flip flops, take your trainers off on the beach and paddle in the shallow water to the boat, part of the fun! Later, Sebastian took us to a lovely area called Lady Rock which had incredible views, an amazing chapel and a lovely restaurant for lunch. An excellent half day tour but with some of the most breathtaking scenery you will ever see!

Really fantastic! Saw over 20 species through top notch binoculars and had a little stop over in the dunes. The guide was super knowledgeable about the birds and even provided the names in different languages. My highlight was seeing five spoonbills!!!
