We had an incredible experience on the Delicious Dublin Food Tour, and much of that is thanks to our wonderful guide, Sinead. She was so personable, warm, and engaging—her storytelling added so much depth and character to the tour. We truly appreciated having her show us around the city, sharing not only the flavors of Dublin but also its heart and history.
Every stop on the tour was thoughtfully chosen, and I can’t say enough about the places we visited. The food and drinks were absolutely delicious—and more than plentiful! I especially loved discovering what a perfectly made Irish coffee should taste like—what a treat!
This tour was a highlight of our time in Dublin. We highly recommend it to anyone visiting the city. Honestly, if we ever return, we’ll do the tour again and cross our fingers that Sinead is our guide!

We had a fantastic experience on the Delicious Dublin Tours food tour with Maeve. She selected a thoughtful mix of stops that gave us real variety, and the walk through the city felt lively and enjoyable. The group was friendly, and Maeve stayed fully attentive to food allergies while keeping everything running smoothly.
We would happily revisit every stop on our own. The standout was the Irish coffee at Vice Coffee. It was exceptional and deserves a special shout out.
We highly recommend this tour. It delivers great food, great pacing, and a guide who clearly enjoys sharing Dublin’s culinary scene.
Response from Host, Jul 2026
Thanks so much for the review Sara!

This was a fantastic tour. Kevin was very knowledge with a great sense of humor. It was an easy walking tour and we went to 5 fantastic places for a mix of drinks and food, some tradition, some not. At the end of the tour we got a list of recommendations around the city which was helpful as well. I would highly recommend this tour. It’s one of the best I’ve done.

A wonderful 3 hour tour of parts of Dublin where food is the best. Maeve provided lots of history and imparted much of her vast knowledge and experience of food. We even returned to one of the restaurants the next day and spoke with the owner. Great time!

Thank you so much for the lovely review!

Our guide Lisa gave an excellent guided tour to five food locations. Each was unique and had its own story. They were all small owner establishments, and the food/drink selections were excellent. Our favorite was Boxty in the Temple Bar area. We went back there later in the week and it was the best meal of our entire trip to Dublin.
Response from Host, May 2026
Thank you so much for the lovely review! I’m delighted you enjoyed the tour with Lisa.
John_G, May 2026
Three hour tour was actually 3.5 hours. Five destinations with a great deal of standing - hard for senior participants. Cost a bit high for food samplings.
Response from Host, May 2026
Thanks for joining us and for taking the time to leave feedback.
We do mention in the tour description that a moderate level of fitness is required, as a 3-hour walking tour naturally involves walking and standing throughout, although guests are seated at 3 of the 5 stops along the route.
Regarding the timing, the guide advised that the tour finished approximately 10–15 minutes later than scheduled, however the group had also started early as guests arrived ahead of time. He also mentioned that the group was moving at a slower pace, so he adapted the tour to the rhythm of the guests, which is something we naturally need to do with groups of different ages and fitness levels.
Our pricing includes all food tastings, taxes, booking commissions, and fair pay for our guides. Ireland has a high cost of living and operating costs, so we do need to price tours accordingly while still aiming to offer good value and a genuine local experience.

A very fine experience indeed! A guide with a Master’s in Culinary Arts made it about, in addition to good food, the history of Ireland and how socio-economic changes, immigration etc. affected food and the preparation of it.
Response from Host, May 2026
Thank you so much — I’m really delighted you connected with that side of the tour. I’ve always wanted it to be about understanding Ireland through its food culture, history and the people shaping it today. Delighted you enjoyed it.
Jeff_V, May 2026
Kevin’s experience in the food business provided informed perspectives on the establishments and foods we sampled. His knowledge of history also helped put the city into context for us. Highly recommend.

As a foodie, this was a phenomenal tour! We learned about the history of food in Ireland while tasting traditional and modern cuisines. The tour supports small local businesses that source from regional farmers as well as establishments that have a long family-owned history. Ketty is not just an excellent guide, she is an expert! Her knowledge of food made for a rich experience. I learn about new cities that I visit through food tours. This is the best one yet. Do not miss this tour if you visit Dublin! You will not be disappointed.
Response from Host, May 2026
Thank you so much for such a thoughtful and generous review! It was so lovely to meet you, and I’m absolutely delighted you enjoyed the tour. It really means a lot to hear this was your favourite food tour.

We ate a variety of foods in local restaurants that the tour company has connections with. Each food was explained and often the history was highlighted. Our guide Kevin, was knowledgeable, very friendly, and made our experience even better.
Response from Host, Apr 2026
Thank you so much!
Tracy_J, Apr 2026
Lisa is a fantastic tour guide. Very knowledgeable and interesting. Out of the five tastings, id say the stews and cheeses were the most interesting. The other three not so much. i.e. instead of going to a coffee shop, maybe a pub would have been more interesting.
Response from Host, Apr 2026
Thank you for your feedback. We’re so glad you enjoyed Lisa as your guide.
We serve the Irish coffee in a coffee shop because it’s an award-winning Irish coffee and a great example of how Dublin’s food scene has evolved. While many visitors expect Irish coffee in a pub, the reality is that Irish coffee in pubs is often not as good, so we prefer to showcase one of the best in the city.
We’re delighted you enjoyed the stews and cheeses, and we appreciate your feedback.

We very much enjoyed the Delicious Dublin food tour. Our guide Ketty was extremely knowledgeable and personable, and shared fascinating information about Dublin’s food scene and history. At each of the 5 stops, we were treated to an informative talk about the specialty we were about to enjoy, and the food and drinks were delicious.

This was a great food tour of Dublin. We usually us the same company for food tours when we travel, but I saw this was a smaller, local Dublin Company, and wanted to try to smaller company and it was a great choice. We went to some great places- places we went back too for more! Definitely, a must if visiting Dublin for some food history, history, and yummy food!
Response from Host, Nov 2025
Thank you so much for your wonderful review! We’re delighted you chose to support a smaller local company and that you enjoyed the experience. It’s great to hear you revisited some of the spots — that’s exactly what we love to see!
Daniel_B, Nov 2025
As we have found to be the experience here in Dublin, the tour guide was perfection, but the tour was subpar. I thought the food didn’t really make up for my time, and I thought the portions were rather skimpy, especially considering the price again hard to make a decision with such a good guide, but not the best tour.
Response from Host, Nov 2025
Thanks for your feedback — we’re glad you enjoyed your guide!
We’re sorry the tour wasn’t quite to your taste. Most of our guests absolutely love both the food and the experience (as our many great reviews show!), but of course everyone’s expectations are different.
Wishing you all the best with your future travels.
Renee_G, Nov 2025

The First highlight of the day: sunshine and no rain! The second was our amazing guide, Lisa. She was a wealth of knowledge, and the food and drinks were absolutely wonderful. There’s no better way to kick off a vacation than with a great food tour—thanks to Lisa for making it such a memorable experience!
Response from Host, Oct 2025
