Helena was a great tour guide, with lots of fun lore and mythology. It was wonderful to learn how mythology has been woven into the fabric of every day Irish life.
You should know that you will have a wonderful experience. Time well spent. My tour guide Emily bares the credit for the superb day. She’s was so professional, knowledgeable, and very personable. While we were waking and talking she made a point to make a personal connection with nearly everyone, if not all. I think she remembered everyone’s name by the end of the tour. I did two tours yesterday, and was fortunate to have her as a guide for both. As a solo traveler it was the best use of my time and minimal investment. Cheers! -Ron Hill
Due to the rain our group was 6 instead of 20+, but those of us who persisted were glad we did. Dave gave us a great experience in spite of the weather. At various locations in Temple Bar and across the river on O'Connell, he helped us to understand how myth is woven into history -- how it has influenced significant figures in Irish history and thus history itself. Highly recommended!
Brilliant. Lee was a great storyteller and clearly proud of Dublin & Ireland's tales. He answered every question we had and told us local stories as well.
A great tour for mythology enthusiasts and pretty much anyone else who wants to find out a little bit more about the Irish. Helena took us on a spree around the city whilst sharing a bunch of more or less believable, though no less amusing, tales of Ireland. A personal favourite was the anecdote towards the delayed motorway construction between Dublin and Limerick.
A special shoutout to Helena for being a class act tour guide (I hope you beat Dave in the reviews soon!). I had a great time and would happily book another tour with her anytime! :)
Ps: If any fans of literature read this, Helena gave me some great Irish book recommendations. Another point towards booking the tour.

It is a very entertaining tour, though the busy streets made it difficult to hear our guide, Emily, she still made it a very fun experience! She was knowledgeable and funny! The whole family enjoyed this tour!

As a history and mythology buff, this tour was just right for me. Alan is extremely knowledgeable about the different stories, such as the Tuatha de Danann and the Puka. Enthralling storytelling and gorgeous landmarks.
Be ready to get an in depth knowledge of folklore and mythology along with Dublin history - Alan makes it fun, humorous and was a great guide. Highly recommend him!! We did this on our first day in Dublin - made the next days so much more fun with what we knew!

The stories kept coming as Ross kept the group on the move around the heart of Dublin:. folklore, leprechauns, banshees and some local characters.
He was a terrific storyteller in the Irish tradition! A great tour.
This was a wonderful tour! We walked around Dublin learning about many myths and folktales. We also heard a lot about the history of Dublin and the people of Ireland. The tour was an easy pace and engaging. This was a great way to kick off our holiday!
Our guide was personable, enthusiastic, knowledgable and funny, She imparted a great deal of information to us in the 2+ hours we were together. Plus a downpour during the last 20 minutes did not dampen her enthusiasm! It was a fun and interesting tour and we highly recommend it.
Our guide Emily was wonderful and told the stories so well. Why I gave it only three stars was more to do with the route, it was nothing like the itinerary I was given when I booked. I would’ve liked to hit the spots the itinerary said especially since I was only in Ireland for a day.
