Fantastic way to learn about Dublin & Ireland history. The weaving of fairytales and history, along with a bit of humour made for a fantastic two hours. So glad we decided to do this on our first day; it made getting around the downtown area so much easier. Appreciated the suggestions for meals. Loved the Church. Great food and entertainment.

Our guide was personable, enthusiastic, knowledgable and funny, She imparted a great deal of information to us in the 2+ hours we were together. Plus a downpour during the last 20 minutes did not dampen her enthusiasm! It was a fun and interesting tour and we highly recommend it.

Our guide Emily was wonderful and told the stories so well. Why I gave it only three stars was more to do with the route, it was nothing like the itinerary I was given when I booked. I would’ve liked to hit the spots the itinerary said especially since I was only in Ireland for a day.

    Great time

Deidre was a fun and entertaining guide. She was knowledgeable about all the mythology she was discussing and she related it to modern irish culture and history. We even got a couple stories of a couple real people at the end that have a lore all their own in Dublin. Highly recommended just keep an eye out for the fairies!

Helena was a great guide and storyteller. We enjoyed her ability to weave together the elements of Irish pagan history and how the influence of catholicism and other cultures lead towards the Ireland of today. We learned a lot and had fun.

    Everybody dies in the end

    Michaela_C, Apr 2026
Alan is a charismatic and knowledgeable guide with a great sense of humor. You can tell he loves the art, stories, and history that make Ireland what it is today, and who better to guide a newcomer through the bustling streets of Dublin than that? Walking was easy, but still mind your steps across streets and bridges. Doesn't hurt to be familiar with light activity and multitasking with listening ears, either. And never forget: the story is only good of everybody dies in the end ;)

A great overview of the city
