As a history and mythology buff, this tour was just right for me. Alan is extremely knowledgeable about the different stories, such as the Tuatha de Danann and the Puka. Enthralling storytelling and gorgeous landmarks.

Be ready to get an in depth knowledge of folklore and mythology along with Dublin history - Alan makes it fun, humorous and was a great guide. Highly recommend him!! We did this on our first day in Dublin - made the next days so much more fun with what we knew!

The stories kept coming as Ross kept the group on the move around the heart of Dublin:. folklore, leprechauns, banshees and some local characters.
He was a terrific storyteller in the Irish tradition! A great tour.

This was a wonderful tour! We walked around Dublin learning about many myths and folktales. We also heard a lot about the history of Dublin and the people of Ireland. The tour was an easy pace and engaging. This was a great way to kick off our holiday!

Our guide was personable, enthusiastic, knowledgable and funny, She imparted a great deal of information to us in the 2+ hours we were together. Plus a downpour during the last 20 minutes did not dampen her enthusiasm! It was a fun and interesting tour and we highly recommend it.

Our guide Emily was wonderful and told the stories so well. Why I gave it only three stars was more to do with the route, it was nothing like the itinerary I was given when I booked. I would’ve liked to hit the spots the itinerary said especially since I was only in Ireland for a day.

Deidre was a fun and entertaining guide. She was knowledgeable about all the mythology she was discussing and she related it to modern irish culture and history. We even got a couple stories of a couple real people at the end that have a lore all their own in Dublin. Highly recommended just keep an eye out for the fairies!

Deidre was an engaging and very knowledgeable tour guide. Being from Dublin she was able to share some personal stories as well as the history. I started the tour thinking I might be too tired to finish, but her shining personality kept my interest and I am so glad I stayed.

Ross was very entertaining and he explained a lot of Irish history through mythology. It was an interesting tour. Not too much of a walk so ok for people who are not super fit.

Really entertaining way to see the city! It was a nice mix of walking, listening, and learning. Allan did a great job keeping the group engaged and projecting for everyone to hear. I really enjoyed it!

Fantastic way to learn about Dublin & Ireland history. The weaving of fairytales and history, along with a bit of humour made for a fantastic two hours. So glad we decided to do this on our first day; it made getting around the downtown area so much easier. Appreciated the suggestions for meals. Loved the Church. Great food and entertainment.

I really enjoyed this tour. Alan is a great storyteller, and he made the myths, legends, and local Dublin tales easy to follow and genuinely interesting. It was such a fun way to learn more about Irish folklore while walking through the city. I left feeling like I understood a different, more magical side of Dublin, and I’d happily recommend the tour to anyone who enjoys good stories and a bit of history.

Lots of great folk and mythology tales along with the modern take on them from a lifelong Dubliner. Lots of fun, a little creepiness, and everything in between!
Julia_P, May 2026

We're in Ireland tracing some family history. It was so interesting hearing about some of the myths and stories and we moved to different locations as we went. Emily was friendly and knowledgeable and we had a great time!
JASON_S, Apr 2026
Helena was a great guide and storyteller. We enjoyed her ability to weave together the elements of Irish pagan history and how the influence of catholicism and other cultures lead towards the Ireland of today. We learned a lot and had fun.
Michaela_C, Apr 2026
Alan is a charismatic and knowledgeable guide with a great sense of humor. You can tell he loves the art, stories, and history that make Ireland what it is today, and who better to guide a newcomer through the bustling streets of Dublin than that? Walking was easy, but still mind your steps across streets and bridges. Doesn't hurt to be familiar with light activity and multitasking with listening ears, either. And never forget: the story is only good of everybody dies in the end ;)
Healy_M, Apr 2026
Loved this walk! It was an informational and fun. A high level introduction to the history and cool sites in Dublin we wouldn’t have normally seen. Highly recommend.
