Michael is an enthusiastic storyteller and an engaging teacher. By the end of the tour, we felt so informed about Dublin’s history (complete with insider information), culture, personality and evolution that we almost felt like seasoned Dubliners!

Wonderful tour, Noel is knowledgeable, flexible, witty and considerate. Highly recommend the tour as it gives you a wonderful viewing of the book of Kells as well as a lovely walk around the city.

Excellent tour of highlights of Dublin. Seamus was very knowledgeable and passionate about Dublin's history. He took excellent photos of our family along the way. He was also extremely patient with my parents and their mobility issues. I highly recommend this tour and Seamus!

Noel, our guide, was incredibly knowledgeable and provided a wonderful tour of Trinity College, the Book of Kells museum, and St. Patrick's Cathedral. Would definitely recommend him.

We are genuinely sorry that unexpected traffic congestion prevented you from reaching the meeting point on time. We always wait 30 minutes for late delayed arrivals. Unfortunately, you did not contact us about this directly. Thus it was beyond both your control and ours it seems. Our tours must depart promptly at a certain time, as they involve timed-entry reservations and guides arranged in advance. Regrettably, this means we cannot delay the departure for other guests who have not arrived by the scheduled starting time. As your booking was made through Viator, they handle customer-support and running late queries will be subject to their terms and conditions agreed to when the booking was made. Many travel-insurance policies provide cover for unforeseen delays and other travel disruptions. We therefore encourage you to contact your insurer to determine whether you may be able to recover the cost of the missed tour. We sincerely regret that you were unable to join our award winning 5*tours and hope you will have another opportunity to visit in the future. Michael Kenny did an absolutely amazing job as our tour guide. He is so knowledgeable and have amazing stories for every question you have on the tour. If I could hire him to show me all the stops in Ireland I would! The Book of Kells was amazing, we did not get into Dublin Castle because it is closed as it is currently the seat of the EU presidency, St. Patrick’s Cathedral was the highlight of our tour. Truly amazing history here in Dublin!
Book this tour! Noel our travel guide is the best! We learned so much about Dublin & Ireland from him. Learning about the history of the Book of Kells & seeing it was an amazing experience as well as The Long Room Library. St. Patrick's Cathedral was beautiful. So happy we got to see it.
You will learn the intricacies of the sites when guided by Noel Quinn. He provided amazing insights about Trinity College and the Book of Kells that made our experience more meaningful and rewarding.
A lot of walking so come prepared with good shoes and water . Highly recommend this experience and Mick our guide was so well informed and knowledgeable!
We had a great day touring with Noel. He kept the tour engaging, informative and fun enough to even engage my teenage daughters. We all had a great time and learned a lot about Dublin’s history along the way.

We had a great experience touring the Book of Kells, Trinity College and St Patrick’s cathedral. Our guide Noel was incredibly knowledgeable and provided great historical insight with some light hearted humor sprinkled in. We would highly recommend the walking tour to learn more about the history of Dublin but also the best tour guide for a perfect experience - Noel!
We did the tour as a group of 11. Michael was our tour guide. He was very knowledgeable and was enthusiastic about sharing his knowledge with us. I recommend this tour for any person or group who wants a good time and the history of Ireland.

Our guide was knowledgeable and informative. This is truly a history tour. If that’s what interests you, you’ll enjoy it, but if you’re looking to be somewhat entertained look elsewhere. Dublin castle was closed by the government (which we knew the day before while walking around on our own, but our guide didn’t have an alternative plan so we stood in a side alley while he talked about the castle- disappointing).

Part of the experience was interrupted by the sudden closure Dublin Castle grounds. We state this clearly this in the tour description, we do not enter the Castle grounds for now, which is unfortunately outside our control. In these circumstances, the guide continued the historical explanation from the exterior.
We also understand that guests enjoy different styles of guiding. While this is primarily an in-depth history tour, we always aim to make the stories lively, accessible and enjoyable. Your comments have been noted and will help us improve how we handle unexpected closures in the future.
Mick was fantastic and knowledgeable. Really gave a great overview of the sights and the city overall. Very worth it!!

Michael was amazing! What a wealth of knowledge! We thoroughly enjoyed our tour and learned so much. He answered every question with wit and could always seem to add an extra bit of interesting information to whatever subject we were discussing.
When he learned our son is a musician, he gave us a directions to a nearby music store to visit after our tour. It was great!
