What are people saying about Dominican Republic

Cultural tour
Robinson was our guide and he was friendly and informative and well as great to guarantee safety. We went with our 2 teens and 9 year old, he catered to the youngest interest and ensured we all saw and experienced everything. Our driver Sandy helped with safety and directions and got us everywhere in perfect time. The tour was full packed and had tons of bits and pieces of the DR, church, market, cigars, coffee, chocolate and the beautiful beach. Highly recommend!!

The real culture
We came to the Dominican and stayed at a resort but wanted to book an excursion to see the real culture of the country. Osvaldo our guide was extremely knowledgeable and our driver Fansisco. It was a 1/2 day and there was no rush. Osvaldo really wanted to show you all things. From the market- horseback riding in the country, original cigar factory and also made one ourselves and the famous church in the big city. We also visited a home where the lady let us tour her house and all the gardens she has to make organic things not to mention he fed us an authentic DR lunch that was amazing . This was an excellent experience. Just what we wanted to see. Osvaldo would also make sure to take pictures of you at each location and didn’t try to sell you photos but by doing it with your phone which we appreciated. We tipped him well because it was worth it !!

This was an absolute blast, and by far my boyfriend and I’s favorite excursion we did. There was a bit of a hike up to the waterfalls (you must go up to be able to come down haha!) but there were plenty of spots to rest along the way. The guides were super great, and helpful, and they provided us helmets, life jackets, and bottled water. The natural water slides were SO much fun, and you go pretty quickly down them. The last waterfall you get to, you can either jump (about 18ft), slide down (with about a 6 foot drop), or climb down the stairs. My boyfriend and I chose to jump and it was SO much fun! While we both know how to swim, there were guides in the water helping pull us out of other people’s way as others made their way down the slides / jump. This is definitely something I would do again!

Long day out but honestly worth it
Booked the small group trip but we were upgraded to private tour which was fantastic as we had our own driver and tour guide so we were able to make excellent use of time and got chance to do all the attractions. Lunch was included, again this was great. Thanks so much for a fantastic historical day out
