Overall this was a wonderful experience. Our tour guide, Joseph, was very helpful and treated us like family! This was definitely one of my favorite activities to do while I was down here. Would definitely recommend!

Great excursion. Exactly as described. Tour operator communication and organization was great from start to finish. Would not recommend for anyone with mobility or health issues as getting in and out of the boat in the water was challenging and the ride was rough at times. The lunch on the island was excellent and our guide Joseph was wonderful. The water was beautiful.

Thank you very much for your wonderful review!
We're delighted to hear that you enjoyed the excursion, the delicious lunch, the beautiful scenery, and that Joseph helped make your day special.
Thank you as well for mentioning the boat access and sea conditions. This is exactly why we offer other excursions that are better suited for guests with reduced mobility or certain health conditions, so everyone can enjoy the Dominican Republic comfortably and safely with Dominican Attitude.
We hope to welcome you again on another adventure!

A great day start to finish! My kids and I did this full day tour and had a blast. The guides were knowledgeable, friendly and interactive. Everything was as described. My only recommendation would be to have more snacks in the afternoon as we really worked up an appetite with all the swimming. The drinks flowed and the boat was clean and in good working condition. The process to board and depart were easy and we never felt confused or disorganized. Highly recommend this experience

I highly recommend this tour! Christian our guide was great, Gregory our bartender was great, and the vibes were high the entire time! Everything was organized from the start where our driver actually arrived a minute early and we quickly left the meeting point shortly thereafter with the group. Again, have been on other tours but this was organized, efficient, and fun and will book with them again the next time I return!

Shout out to Jose and his team making sure were safe. This trip has a few stops before the main attraction (Saona Island) but they make sure they gave u enough time to enjoy the island. Special mention to Vicky for capturing the memories with my family. If u ever meet Vicky (photographer) and she ask you to take the pic. do it.

We were having a good time, but the guide told us when to come back.
We were exactly in the point where we were supposed to be at the correct time, but there was no one and only after 30 minutes we realized that they simply forgot us on the island.
We had to pay the last boat on the island to come back.
When we arrived other people from the group told us that the guide didn’t even count the people and even if they were looking for us they didn’t find us.
So bad that we missed a part of what we paid not because of us.
We are guides too in Italy and we also travelled the whole world and nothing like this ever happened.
Btw the rum was good 👍🏻

Pros:
This full day tour had very nice destinations. 1st stop was a national park Mangrove area with sea turtles, though we couldn’t see the turtles (we were on the other side of the small boat).
2nd stop was snorkeling; water was choppy but we saw a few nice fish.
3rd stop was Saona Island - beautiful trees, white sandy beach, and bathtub calm water great for swimming. Lunch was good.
4th stop was (we think) called Turtle Beach, which we didn’t think was necessary because it was another nice beach on Saona Island … we would have preferred not making this stop.
5th stop was the natural pool with the large red starfish… this was very nice.
Then back to Bayahibe.
Our guide Alberto was very good. He spoke 3 languages— Spanish, German, and English—very impressive! The boat captain and 1st mate were also very skilled.
The speedboat rides were fun — high speed thrills — in between all the places.
The Dominican Attitude staff are very nice, friendly , and helpful. Great staff!
Cons: It was very difficult for all 28-30 passengers (in one boat) to maneuver on the very tiny speedboat. We were packed in like sardines w no legroom and no space to move around. It was very difficult getting off and on the boat because there was no easy way to step onto or out of the boat. We had to hold onto the motor engine and step over a 3 foot high divider wall to climb into the boat, without something to hold onto.
All 28-30 of us had no space to maneuver around each other to get off for snorkeling and back on after snorkeling.
Tiny seats left no space for our towels, bags, etc, so these all got wet when we got back in after snorkeling.
What we are saying is it would have been a better experience if a slightly larger boat was used, to give passengers more legroom, more space to put our stuff, easier on/off access for snorkeling, and easier getting on and off the boat.
The tour started about an hour late at about 9:30. At least 60 passengers were waiting in a very small area w not enough seats for quite some time before we were taken to the boats. Then, it was not clear to the staff which boat we were supposed to be using. At the end of the tour back at the base office, there were about 30 minutes or more waiting because the transport busses back were late and very disorganized.
The following has nothing to do with the Dominican Attitude tour operator and did not at all influence our review/rating of the tour:
The massages on the beach are a rip off and scam. For 20 minute massage for my daughter, the masseuse Paola told me beforehand that it would cost $30. But $70 was charged to my daughter’s credit card! This charge happened after they told me it would cost $30 and without discussing any additional charges with me or my daughter. The massage therapist Paola took advantage of the situation to charge $30 more just for adding my daughter’s *feet* to her massage. Total scam. She did not tell my daughter any $$ figure for this “add on” before it was done. I spoke w Alberto and Paola and got $20 back in DR pesos. But this cash refund was before I knew they also charged a tax and “service fee”, making the total charge $70 (not $60). So, tourists beware — a $30 massage (for 20 minutes) costs $70 if they add on another body area and if you are using a card. The masseuse took total advantage of the situation and the fact that my young daughter used her card.
Again, the massage scam on Saona Island was NOT part of the tour operator and didn’t influence our rating.

The whole process was easy to book. Excellent communication, pickup/dropoff, & wonderful overall experience! The food for lunch was great especially the chicken! Everything went well and would book again with them! Love the islands selection & plenty of time on each island! Everyone on board was great! Thank you for an unforgettable experience!

A fun excursion! It was a full day, everything was well organized, and the guide Christian and crew were also excellent. 😄

Nice relax trip with a super friendly crew. No rush, all the time to relax. More than enough drinks and food. Much better than the big full boats we saw during the day.

Organized tour. Good boat, good guide, good crew and good script. They provide complete snorkeling equipment, including swimmers. I recommend.
