If you only see the coastal part of Crete, you’re missing the hidden beauty of the island. This trip was through the gorgeous mountains of Crete. Our driver Nicos was very knowledgeable about the island, its history, and the olive and wine industry. He took great care of us. The drive was stunning. From the ancient olive tree, to the olive oil/wine tasting, to the lunch in the white mountains, this tour was awesome. We loved it. Totally recommend this tour.

Our tour guide, I believe his name was Nikolai, was so kind to my wife and the other couple. He was knowledgeable about the area and was so friendly in general. Would highly recommend this tour.

This tour is absolutely amazing. We got picked up by Vicellis, I hope I spelled it right, and he was on time and a smile on his face. He was awesome. He immediately gave us waters and drove us into town to see some sites. Then we picked up another couple and went to the olive oil tree farm and had coffee. A beautiful cafe with a huge grape vine for shade like beer garden. Coffee was awesome. Then he took us to a winery and olive oil farm. The wine was awesome and the olive oil is out of this world. Now I know why Crete is one of the best olive oil producers. We tried many wines and with some snacks. Then we proceeded to a lunch spot that was one of the best views I have ever seen. You eat overlooking a gorge in the white mountains. The Greek food was amazing. Vicellis took very good care of us. He taught us some bee facts but every step of the way was first class. He got us back to the boat no issues and we had a blast. One of the best tours we have taken. Money well spent on this one. If your in Crete this is a must!!

Incredible day trip around the Chania region. If you want to see lots of the mountains and hear about the history of western Crete, this is the tour for you! Our guide Vassily was charismatic, knowledgeable and an excellent driver. The other couple on our trip were lovely company and the food was extraordinary. From the olive tree and wine tasting, to fresh fruit off the trees it was a great experience.

The entire tour was wonderful. Nicklas, our driver, was excellent giving commentary as we traveled to the ancient olive tree the Anoskeli winery and olive oil factory. Both were interesting and informative. The tasting olive oil and 5 wines included bread and an assortment of meat and cheese. The view of the Samaria Gorge was awesome and the lunch in a small village was generous and delicious. This is definitely a tour one does not want to miss!

Perfect Day in the White Mountains! Stop at for mountain tea and a bit of history at the oldest olive tree -very interesting! Olive Oil and wine tasting- Excellent! Next we were amazed by the stunning views we took in as our driver Nikola drove us up through the White Mountains to the entrance of the Samaria Gorge and enjoyed a delicious meal. We had a blast! Loved this day! Great Guide! Delicious food! Awesome wine and the best olive oil we had ever tasted!

A fantastic trip, and well worth the price! Our guide was super friendly and knowledgeable on the history of Crete, and the olive groves and vineyards, and a highlight of our tour. An excellent experience wine tasting (even if we weren't very knowledgeable about flavour profiles, and truly excellent olive oil. The finale at the white mountains and the high altitude restaurant was brilliant. We couldn't have asked for a better day trip!

The most amazing part was our driver George who did a fantastic job driving us through some narrow, windy dirt roads up in The White Mountains and also navigated through some serious fog. We truly enjoyed the lunch at the restaurant at the entrance to the Samaria Gorge and the stunning views. The tour was terrific and we highly recommend it.

Nasos was the best guide ever. He spent a lot of time teaching us about the region and Greek history in an engaging and fun way. His passion and excitement for his work really shows. The tour itself was really well thought out and showed us parts of Crete that I would have never understood without him. I have travelled quite a bit and this is by far one of my favorite tours I have ever been on. All of the food and wine was excellent as well and there were additional snacks provided along the way.

We've booked this jeep safari tour to the white mountain to visit the shepherd's hut. Our skilled tour guide, Nasos, has been amazing and very friendly. He drove us safely up into the white mountains through the narrow gravel roads. We got to see how shepherds live up in the mountains and know how cheese production takes place. We visited the village of Theriso where we had drinks and traditional local bites. After that we continued our journey and got to see other parts. We ended the tour with traditional lunch in a village restaurant. This tour was not only been a unique experience. It has also been entertaining and very informative. We gained knowledge about the history and daily life in Chania and we've been kept involved and entertained through a friendly quiz.
Thank you Nasos for this amazing experience. You'll not be easily forgotten.
