First time experiencing another country, and the time we spent on this tour was worth every cent! Nikolas, the name of our guide, proved to be knowledgeable, funny, and most importantly sincere when speaking to us. We were treated with the utmost respect and were laughing and learning throughout the entire excursion. It was a personal, first hand look into the local culture that you can’t get on your own! Do not miss out on what Crete has to offer in this tour, highly recommend!

Amazing excursions

The guide is very kind, friendly, and fluent in English. We can feel how much he loves his place through his talks. The places he took us to are all meaningful sites and gave us many interesting information. We could taste very nice olive oil and various wines with some snacks. The restaurant we had a lunch is so nice for both foods and stunning scenery. We enjoyed the view of the White mountain and Samarian gorge. The only missing point is that the tour doesn’t not include olive oils making experience, but it’s not really a big deal compared to other parts. And you should control yourself not to drink wines too much.

Wine tasting and views of Samaria gorge

Our guide, Nicholas, was the best! He made our tour so fun and he was knowledgable and personable. The tour winds you up in a nice vehicle into the white mountains. The wine tasting was so fun and great to learn about the others in our group. We then drive further and end at a restaurant in the Samaria Gorge where the views were breathtaking! We highly recommend this tour.

Nasos is a wellinformed guide who tells engaging stories. Tour stops were beautiful - olive mill, Anoskeli family winery with lovely dry local wines and snacks, beautiful lunch at restaurant at trail head of Samaria Gorge and, St John the Hermit Cave. Learned about Cretan history, how olive oil was made historically and today, and the wine and olive oil business. . . . Beautiful ride thru the mountains. Thank you Nasos!

A fantastic day with our awesome guide, Stavros! The old cave and olive tree were amazing, and Stavros was very informative and answered all of our many questions. Excellent guide and tour.we got to see some of the interior of Crete and taste the wines and olive oil produced there. Be sure none of your participants are not prone to motion sickness as there are curvy, rough roads involved.

This tour was more than we had hoped it would be. We saw amazing scenery, tasted great food and wine, saw an 3000-5000 year old olive tree, and learned so much about Crete from Nasos. His company is communicative, and Nasos always had interesting things to share with us about the place he calls home! He also made sure to get us back to the ship in plenty of time. This ‘safari’ was just what we needed! You will regret not booking with them.

Perfect Day Trip Outside Chania City!

First, I must commend our guide Dimitris. I travel a lot and he's probably one of the best guides I've experienced. Knowledgeable, engaging, overall great person. He really knew Chania and Crete well and kept the whole day a conversation. We learned so much and had all of our questions answered! The tour predominantly took place outside of Chania city. We had coffee, tasted wines and olive oil, had an incredible lunch overlooking Samaria Gorge, and saw much of the nature and countryside (animals, trees, etc.) that make up the region. If you're looking for a relaxing and enjoyable day outside the city, this is the perfect tour for you! Mega thanks again to Dimitris!

George was terrific! He gave us lots of information about the island and it’s history. The rest of our stay on the island we kept telling our friends ( who were unable to go on the excursion) about different things we had learned from George. We enjoyed all stops- the hermit’s cave, the olive oil place, the winery and of course the wonderful lunch with scenic views. One of the members of our group said it was the best tour they have been on!

Captivating Crete Experience

The trip exceeded our expectations and perfectly matched the description. We had a great time at the winery and olive oil mill. The lunch provided was the best of our entire holiday so far. Amazing day out with lovely wine, food and superb guide

A very comfortable Range Rover picked us up on time. We had just a small group (4 others plus 2 of us) which made the whole experience better. Our driver and guide Dimitris is incredibly knowledgeable, providing insights on our surroundings on the journey, the places we visited and in general chatted to the group all day. The wine and olive oil tasting venue was a great start to the experience. We had a reserved table filled with delicious snacks. The olive oil and wine selection were described pleasantly. We purchased both wine and olive oil - we thought the prices were very reasonable for the quality. The highlight of the day is the lunch in the beautiful mountain lodge retreat. The food was just divine and plentiful, with a great variety of local dishes with a modern twist.

Our guide, Andres, picked us up from our AirBNB right on time. We visited a cave, the olive tree of Vouves before heading to the winery. Wine tastings were served with lots of cheese and meat snacks in addition to bread with the olive oil. After wine tasting we had about an hour drive to Milia for lunch, which was delicious. Andres was a great guide.

Great tour! We got to see places that we would never get to see if it wasn’t For the tour. The only little issue we had was that our guide had a greater language barrier than we expected. Stelios did well but when we saw Demitrios giving his tour group the history of each places we noticed that we were missing a lot of the information with our guide. He was a very sweet man I just didn’t think he had all the information Or couldn’t communicate very well to give us all the information the same way the other guide did to his group. For the price we paid I was a little disappointed to not have gotten more of the history once we got to each site. Let me say that the food was INCREDIBLE.

Probably your recognised more passion to Dimitris because of his age. Talking about the price, I will let you know a few things because your are young people. The Viator fee is 25%, the VAT in Greece is 24% and the Petrol price is 9 euro/galon. You had Coffee with cake, wine tasting (5 wines), olive oil tasting (2 olive oils), with Cretan snacks,and you found the food incredibe (lunch time with wine), in a group of 5 people for an 8 hours tour.
