Fun

The dinner preparation was well streamlined. It felt fun - not like work. There were two other families there besides us. There's def something for all ages, but prob not under 3 years old. There was plenty to eat! The meal is their 'typical' food. We were the only ones to stay for the Salsa lesson, so it felt like a private lesson. It was about an hour and was awesome. It was up in a cool loft and was so much fun (even if you have 2 left feet!!).

So much fun!

What a great experience! As an old guy, I have always wanted to try surfing and never did it before. My grandson wanted to take some lessons, so no time like the present. I don't know which of is had more fun!?! The instructors were both awesome, patient, knowing just when to introduce more instructions. Highly recommend!

Eric was the best surf instructor. He made sure to explain everything to me perfectly and was very encouraging. They even went above and beyond. I forgot my shoes with them and I was leaving the area super early the next day. They had already went home, but made sure to come back and give me the shoes that they kept safe

Fun guys to be in the surf with

I was with my two athletic 12 year old twins. Richardo was my instructor; he helped me and one other adult. A second instructor had my kids. My kids killed it, switching out front foot multiple times during one wave. The other guy and I did great. We’re not exactly children. Both of us had multiple good runs on the waves. Ricardo had a fun and supportive attitude.

A must book!

Great tour! Our guide Johnny was great at spotting all types of animals and was very knowledgeable. He accommodated our time schedule but still felt like we got our money worth. Also was great at taking pictures of us along the way. The waterfall itself is a decent walk up and down but worth it for the views. At the end of the hike we finished with fresh coconuts from the stand!

Great first time surfing...can't wait to come back and go againn

Instructor was top notch, very direct and helpful while being friendly and encouraging. Was our first time surfing and he made it all easy to understand and had us standing up in no time. Absolutely recommend to anyone thinking about it. Was also marked as a group lesson but ours ended up just being us so had lots of help and instruction the whole time. The showers at the meeting place and lockers being included were also very helpful.

Excellent Surf Lesson

We had an incredible surf lesson in Tamarindo, Costa Rica, and our instructor Leandro was absolutely outstanding. He began with clear, classroom-style instruction so we fully understood the fundamentals and, just as importantly, the safety considerations before ever entering the water. That foundation made a huge difference. Leandro worked with both my husband and me, thoughtfully tailoring his coaching to our individual experience and comfort levels. He struck the perfect balance of being patient and kind while also firm and encouraging. I was much slower than my husband to pick up the techniques once we were in the water, but Leandro never gave up on me—and he definitely didn’t let me quit. His encouragement and persistence made all the difference. We had plenty of time in the water to surf and really practice our technique, which made the experience both fun and confidence-building. This was an exceptional lesson and a truly memorable experience. I would highly recommend Leandro to anyone looking to learn or improve their surfing in Tamarindo.
