Pura Vida and Sloths

We had a ball with Rudy and Luis! They were prompt and professional. We had a small group of 5 and everything was handled, no problems whatsoever. We started with waterfall and thankfully before it got super busy. Rudy was good about pointing out wildlife and made no pressure to visit stands or anything. Everyone knew him and his English was great. We then went to the Coffee and Chocolate tour where once again, everyone knew Rudy. Emmanuel was our tour guide there. Very knowledgeable and answered all questions. We had fun interactions with him and Jessica as she prepared fresh coffee and chocolate for us. Everything was delicious. From there, we went sloth watching at the sanctuary and Kevin was our tour lead. He's young and truly interested in the animals. He was able to get us close up pics of snakes, frogs and sloths. It started raining and our tour went on. Kevin is a biologist with a focus on snakes and frogs but I don't believe there is an animal that he doesn't know well. Last, we had a delicious lunch! So many choices, so much food, fresh fruit drinks and water, even better service. Love this place!!! And then back home. Luis is the perfect driver. I slept on the way back so easily even though he was truly driving those small roads. I would highly recommend as a good intro to Costa Rica.

Our driver Diego was great! He stopped at some cool look out spots along the way and was very knowledgeable of the area. Our guide Helen for the AatV tour was great and we had a blast. The chocolate tour with Heidi and Kia were FANTASTIC!! It was so intresting and cool to see the beginning to end proccess and be able to eat it all along the way. Will absolutely do it again next time I'm in Costa Rica!

What a fantastic night!! Angel was friendly, warm, and so knowledgeable, he answered every question confidently and made the whole evening exciting and memorable. The food was delicious, the cocktails were absolutely divine, and the cocktail class was such a fun hands-on touch. The location itself was cozy and spotlessly clean, with gorgeous tropical decor that made it feel special from the moment we walked in. We had a fantastic time with Marcelo on this tour. Tried several exotic (to me!) fruits at the farmers market and he was so informative about origins and history. The walking portion past several National monuments was interesting. We ended at Mr Sloth with local dishes and coffee. Exceeded my expectations. A great way to spend the morning.

Highlight of our Costa Rica trip

My family and I had an amazing fun filled day with tour guide Steven and driver Randall. Steven was very knowledgeable and experienced on all the topics/locations we covered. We visited every location mentioned in the itinerary and even stopped a couple of times to observe the animals Steven pointed out in the trees. We were able to spend 3 1/2 hours at the hot springs which was lovely. Would definitely recommend this tour ! Our family included our 15 year old teenager who also enjoyed the various stops.

Amazing tour!

What an amazing day! Our tour guide Steven was simply the best. He was so friendly and knowledgeable. The tour was a full day, about 15 hours, but it was 100 worth it. We learned about one of the coffee plantations, enjoyed so Costa Rican coffee, saw the waterfall, zip lined and spent some time at the hot spring. It was the best tour we could have started our vacation doing.
