I highly recommend this family-run tour! We learned so much about Palenque culture and history, and the tour was filled with unforgettable experiences. We had the opportunity to observe and participate in traditional cultural dancing, make native coconut and papaya candy, and learn about Benkos Biohó and the history of the first free African town in the Americas. We also visited a museum and gained a deeper understanding of how the community continues to preserve its traditions, including making medicine out of plants and preparing food by grinding corn and rice with a mallet. The highlight of the tour was enjoying a freshly cooked, authentic Colombian meal prepared by the tour guides sister at their grandmother’s home. We sat together and ate on grandma's porch and truly felt like part of the family. This was much more than a tour—it was an authentic and meaningful immersion into Palenque culture, history, traditions, and community. I highly recommend this tour, run by Victor and his family. Their warmth and hospitality made the experience truly unforgettable!

The experience was fun, informative and the sites were so breathtaking. The journey to the lagoon was so beautiful and rewarding and the Salt cathedral is really the first wonder of colombia. Every detail was well thought of, even our lunch spot was excellent. Carlos and Jesus were excellent, we had the best time.

The Salt Cathedral is simply wonderful. Its architecture is incredible, with many fascinating details to explore. I highly recommend this tour! Guide was very cool and really knows the place and history behind it. Nice lunch after tour on a Local Colombian restaurant!

We had the BEST experience with Alejandro. I was curious what Escobar story we would hear after hearing so many viewpoints. However, Alejandro knew the history inside and out and with great passion! For our own reasons along with his we knew he was speaking truth! We enjoyed the museum where we met Escobar's niece who was super friendly and enjoyed all it had to offer. We then went across for a water/beer with our group. Buses were air conditioned and comfortable. We then headed to the cemetery and wall. Excellent tour whether you hate, like, or don't care about him personally it's still the history of Medellin and was nice to learn more about it. Highly recommend!

Esteban and Alfonso were excellent guides for this tour. They were very knowledgeable and ensured that everything was well-executed. The visits to Guatavita and Guatavita Lagoon were beautiful, providing great cultural context for the region. We had visited the Museo del Oro the day prior, so everything tied in well. Lunch in Zipaquirá was at a nice restaurant and consisted of a tasty traditional Colombian plate. The subsequent visit to Catedral de Sal was incredible. We had plenty of time to explore the beautiful chambers and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

My family and I had a lovely time exploring the beaches on this tour. The stops were all very nice with excellent access to the beaches and comfortable accommodation. Our guide, Sebastian was extremely personable and made our tour even better! I would highly recommend for people who want a very comfortable and safe tour of the Rosario Islands!!

We had an amazing time visiting Palenque as a day excursion from Cartagena. My boyfriend and I were looking for something unique to do where we can learn more about the culture, history, and people of Colombia. Ronal was an incredible tour guide who was very knowledgeable. We enjoyed meeting his family as well as other community members who showed us the culture and way of life of the people of Palenque. We did the private tour and Gustavo navigated the roads like a trooper while Jorge gave us a very informative and insightful tour all the way out to the town and the lake. It is quite a drive out and around; and traffic is hectic leaving and coming back to Bogota so this tour really requires a full day. We felt safe and well taken care of with these guys. The towns, the Lake Guatavita, the Salt Cathedral and all the panoramic views were so worth it. We arrived back all exhausted after 10 hours but very happy with this experience.
