Amazing guide!

A genuinely fantastic half-day tour. We were picked up promptly, visited the pyramids and sphinx, as well as a couple of shops. Farha was a fabulous guide: friendly and knowledgeable. We learnt about the history of the Pyramids and Egypt, and she also took some fabulous photos! The shops at the end were also very hospitable, and we were surprised by how we weren't pressured into buying things. Altogether, I really recommend this tour for a good balance of history and great photos!

We had an amazing experience with Menar as our tour guide at the GEM Museum and the Giza Pyramids! We were traveling with our two young kids, and she was incredibly patient, engaging, and thoughtful throughout the entire day. A great day at Sakkara ,Dahshur and Memphis

We had a good learning experience visiting the oldest pyramids in Egypt. Our guide Ibrahim was very informative and helpful introducing us to the Step pyramid and tombs of Sakkara . Following this we had a visit to Dahshur to learn about the 5 pyramids - the Red pyramid , the White pyramid , the Black pyramid , the Bent pyramid and the only pyramid built for a pharaoh s wife . Finally we had a visit to Memphis and ended the tour with a lovely lunch overlooking the Giza pyramids. Thank you to Ibrahim and Hosein for a wonderful day

Marco was amazing. His knowledge on Egypt was incredible and the way he described to us every detail was so fascinating and gave us something we couldn’t experience without him. He knew everyone which made the journey a breeze, helping us into cabs and dealing with hagglers and shopkeepers. He also took us to the front of queues and gave us a great experience to remember. Amazing activity with a young guide on top!

Our day trip to the vast Giza Plateau and the impressive GEM Museum was brilliant! It was superbly organised, and our French-speaking guide (who spoke excellent French!), Islam, was perfect: professional, friendly, cheerful, respectful and extremely knowledgeable. There's more to Cairo than the Pyramids, Sphinx & new Museum

Great trip to Saqqqara and the bent pyramid, the fore-runners of the great Pyramids. Fantastic to go inside the bent pyramid, 235ft down a 45 degree opening with a height of 1.1m, hard slog but worth it. I gather you can get inside the red pyramid (the first true pyramid) but it's even harder. Saqqqara and it's surrounding excavations and painted walls are more interesting than the great Pyramids and far fewer people were there. It deserves to be better known.

Nile tour on a budget

Was looking for a medium priced Nile tour. There were numerous offerings at different price points. I could not work out what the differences were based on so booked an inexpensive tour. had a great time. Sights were great touring was great food was good. You always have to be a bit careful in Egypt. There is a pecking order with Nile cruises. The more luxurious and expensive boats moor along the riverbank with the less luxurious boats moored alongside and so on. We were the fifth boat of five from the riverbank so we clambered though four other boats receptions to get to the wharf, that was fun in itself. Really great value and loads of fun. Had to get an amended pickup which was no problem for the tour operator. Scammers wait on the river bank claiming to know you as they "work" on the boat as a chef. Took a ride with a scammer and worked out what was going on and bought the cheapest scam item we could find to avoid confrontation. For $20 I got a good story. Would do a Nile cruise again if in the area.
