Amazing Grant Egyptian Museum Tour

We had a lovely tour of the Grand Egyptian Museum by our private guide Mohamed El Wazir. Communication the day before was perfect with a WhatsApp message with a photo of the vehicle picking us up the next morning. The tour was at a relaxed pace with us spending more or less time at each part of the museum as per our wishes, Mohamed was knowledgeable, well humoured and answered all our questions and made it an interactive experience just for us. The museum itself is amazing, Grand in scale and architecturally beautiful. The artefacts are everything you can imagine and more. Mohamed was very accommodating and patient with us taking a break for lunch and a coffee and visiting the gift shop. When the tour was finished, Mohamed asked us if there was anything we hadn’t got a chance to do in our first few days and we said we’d like to have a cartouche made with my wife’s name on. He took us somewhere where we were greeted by lovely warm people who were not pushy at all and made the perfect memento for my wife as well as giving her a complimentary buff of her engagement and wedding rings. It was the perfect way to end our visit to Egypt. Can’t recommend the tour or Mohamed highly enough. Fantastic experience for the family.

It was a beautiful and entertaining experience, starting with the pick up our driver Mo Salah was here early, made sure we were alright and as we drove took his time to give history of the places we passed. Great Guy ! The cruise was quite the experience, from the performances, to the belly dancers to the guy doing the spinning stuff and there was a lot to eat and help yourself too Our driver was there as soon as it ended and chauffeured us back It was a nice experience.

Outstanding Tour and outstanding guide Manal Hakim! The tour really exceeded our expectations!!

This tour really exceeded our expectations! Not just the pyramids and camel ride , but Manal our tour guide was exceptionally knowledgeable and patient with all our questions and she was fun too. Also we went to see how the Egyptians made the first paper, and stop by souvenir shop, then they took us to a traditional Egyptian lunch, which was incredible. She really went over and above expectations!! Book her for your private quite if she is available. Also the driver was friendly , even got us cold water to take with us and bought us ice cream and coffee on the way back.

Amazing Time at The Pryamids with Family!

Guide Kryllos Eskandar and the driver gave my family and I an amazing experience at the pyramids. Super smooth, no hiccups, and no hassle. Everything included in the description of the tour was as it was, zero surprises! Kryllos was an incredibly knowledgeable Egyptologist guide and was very passionate about what he does. He was very helpful in answering all of my questions and has social media pages/ books published on Ancient Egypt. If you are having trouble choosing between multiple tours, let this be your sign to choose this one :) It will be an incredible experience I assure you!

Fantastic experience at the pyramids!

What a fantastic experience! Rasha, our guide, was well-informed, accommodating and excellent with our child. They were on time and the transport was air-conditioned and clean. The experience at the pyramids was fantastic. We particularly enjoyed climbing inside the Great Pyramid (although caution that this is not suitable for anyone who has any breathing difficulties/ issues with confined spaces/ problems with knees). My daughter loved the camel ride too. Highly recommended!

Perfect day in Cairo

Great day with Egytpologist Kareem and driver Shadi. Saw ancient marvels and learned much of Egyptian history. Sampled delicious traditional food, saw how papyrus is made and used, explored exotic scents and oils, bought some lovely saffron tea and zatar from an exotic spice shop. It was a.perdect sunny day .

My partner is in a wheelchair, and from the moment we got out of the taxi the staff couldn't have been more helpful, she was literally carried from the road to put seat, plenty of choice in the food and well what can be said about the entertainment, it was simply brilliant, from the singers the dancers the 3 piece bongo sax and violin player got everyone going they were amazing

Ask for Wael! This was an amazing tour.

Wael was by far the best tour guide we had on our 6-day trip in Egypt. He is a 3rd generation tour guide with vast knowledge of Egyptian history and culture. One of the highlights of our trip was enjoying Turkish coffee at El Fishawy Cafe in the Bazaar and talking all things Egypt with Wael. Objects sold in the Bazaar are meant for tourists and are low quality. Prices will also be unfair, so be prepared to negotiate. **If you do not want to be harassed in the Bazaar but still want to see it, we recommend going at 9am while shops are still opening**. On Sundays, Coptic holds mass and you will not be able to enter the church until 11am.

Hidden History Of Cairo

Little did I know quite how fascinating this tour would be. The early Coptic Churches that we visited were from the 4th Century AD! My guide, Ereny, slowly drew me into the Coptic world - the first church, the Hanging Church, has some incredible icon artwork, carvings and overall design and Ereny explained the significance and history of everything as we went around. The tour was very friendly and relaxed, plenty of time to soak up the atmosphere in these buildings and take photos. The Cave Churches are also remarkable, you really have to be there to see the scale of what they have done. This tour, which includes lunch, is probably the best value tour that I went on - not only for that reason, but for the places that you visit, I would recommend it to anyone.
