Belgian Waffles Done Right

I had a wonderful time at the Brussels waffle-making class! The instructor was friendly and helpful throughout, making sure everyone felt comfortable and confident with the technique — from mixing the batter to getting that perfect crisp-on-the-outside, fluffy-on-the-inside texture. One of my favorite parts was the huge selection of toppings available to experiment with. It was so much fun mixing and matching different combinations, and I picked up a ton of great ingredient ideas that I can't wait to try at home. This class was a great mix of hands-on learning and pure indulgence. I left with new skills, a stomach full of delicious waffles, and lots of inspiration for topping combos to recreate in my own kitchen. Highly recommend for anyone who loves waffles and wants a fun, tasty way to spend a morning!

come hungry because you will eat! Manila walked within the city center as we ate our way through with lots of education on the buildings and historical sites in the area. Made the group feel so welcome and created a friendly environment where we all started chatting with one another as we were going around the city. Located in a quaint chocolate shop in a quiet neighborhood in Brussels this was FANTASTIC! Anna was AMAZING, patient, thorough, professional and kind. The end result...PERFECT handmade chocolates (pralines) by MOI! Well worth the price of admission, and you're taking home Belgian chocolate you made yourself. You leave with more chocolate, for the price of admission, than you would get if you bought it in a store!

Wow... An Incredible Experience!

What an incredible experience to be part and an excursion that you will not forget. Stefan was an incredible guide and he truly loves what he does. It is a long day but one that I will never forget nor will you regret doing. I do wish that we had more time for lunch (only about 25 minutes) but I understand the need to show as much history as you can. I am forever grateful for those who fought in WWI and it was an amazing experience to witness the last post. A "must" activity for those who want to better understand the history of WWI. Eric was superb! He knew so much about the history of Belgium. Tiago was hands down the best walking tour guide we’ve ever had. His witty, down-to-earth style made it feel like we were just hanging out with a friend who happened to know everything about Brussels. There was no cheesy tour guide vibe, just great stories, lots of laughs, and a fun group of people. The best part? When the tour ended, a bunch of us, from our early 20s to our late 50s, ended up hanging out for the rest of the evening at a local spot Tiago recommended. We took this food tour a few days ago and had a fantastic experience. Our guide was knowledgeable, engaging, and genuinely easy to talk with—she made the entire group feel welcome and curious throughout the tour. What stood out most was how seamlessly she wove together Brussels's culinary traditions with its architectural heritage. We didn't just taste the food; we learned the stories behind Belgian culture as we moved through the city. Our guide created a multi-stop culinary journey that hit all the highlights: crispy croquettes, fresh mussels, authentic Belgian waffles, and rich chocolate. Even more fun than I...

Even more fun than I expected. Clemens and Elana were wonderful hosts, giving us a great tour, and informed lessons in local beers and chocolates. The shops where we stopped were wonderful. The walking part of the tour is a pleasant, relaxed pace, where our group ranging in age from 30 to 89 were all smiling through the event.

it was fun although a bit like being in school...but I found interesting. We made a chocolate bar with adornments ,smaller dark choc shapes and dipped truffles. I would have liked to learn how to make the actual truffle but I guess there was not enough time...Some time was wasted travelling from the meeting point to the actual factory ??

Arvo was a great guide. My daughter and I took this tour with him and we learnt not only about the history of chocolate, but also the history of Brussels. The chocolate making was great fun. We learnt a lot about the beans and where they are sourced from. The chocolate tasting was amazing. Arvo really knows his chocolate, so picked the best ones to taste. If you are looking for something to do for a few hours while in Brussels, I highly recommend this tour
