Amazing Day!

What an incredible day! We started with a stop at Natural Bridge. We took a short, shaded walk down to a river which had a waterfall that flows into a cave underneath a natural stone bridge. Then we were off to Surfers Paradise. We had free time to do whatever we wanted or there were several other tours which could be taken (Jet Boat or AquaDuck Tour). After wandering around Surfers Paradise we were treated to lunch at Q1 which is a restaurant 77 floors above the city/beach. The food was good and the views phenomenal. Next we were off to The Spit. We walked all the way to the end of the Spit and took in the views of surfers, dogs on the beach, sailboats and even a sea turtle. The last stop of the day was Coombabah Preserve. This was the highlight of the trip. We saw hundreds of kangaroos, 3 koalas and a wallaby. I should mention that this tour included a lot of walking (15,000+ steps) and could be difficult for some. But it was so enjoyable and worth all the walking. Our guides Amber and Jamie were great and so knowledgeable. 10/10 Recommend

Relaxed and fun!

Dominic checked me in and helped with “suiting up”. She cracked some good jokes and made everyone feel more at ease. Abbie, our guide was a total ROCKSTAR… from start to finish- Safety, professional and fun. Some bicyclists were getting TOO close to our group as we were entering the bridge…she turned into “mama bear” 🐻 and went into protection mode. I don’t think the bicyclist expected that shoulder throw…but hey…she kept us safe. Seriously though, she kept us safe. No bicyclists were hurt during our climb… or were they 🤨. The views were amazing, the stories and education of the area were top shelf and ABBIE was a professional rock star! Great pictures!

Australia Zoo Day Trip from Brisbane

Excellent Zoo Trip

After about an hour and 15 minute drive in a very comfortable, 21 passenger coach we arrived at the zoo. We got to visit the hospital where citizens can bring in any injured animals they find. Next we entered to zoo. Although it was crowded the day we attended (Grace’s 5th birthday) we were able to see all the animals. What we appreciated were the abundance of shade and areas to rest and just enjoy the environment. We loved being able to be in the enclosures with kangaroo and lemurs. The crocodile show in the Crocoseum was the highlight of the day.

Great Way to Spend a Day in Brisbane

What a great way to spend a day in Brisbane. From the moment you board the Miramar II your adventure starts. During the trip to Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary you hear fascinating commentary about the sights you are seeing on either side of the Brisbane River. Once you arrive at the sanctuary you have a perfect amount of time to see all the animals, talks and shows available. It’s especially nice to see how well cared for all the animals are and the employees are so friendly and knowledgeable.

Excellent tour. We saw a lot of what you can see at Straddie. Dolphins, Koalas, Osprey, just to name a few. Aggie ( hope that's the correct spelling ;) ) was an excellent driver, a lovely host and a tourguide that could give a lot of interesting background information. There was enough time to get some food or drinks on the ferry and at the stops that we made. I had a refreshing swim. I took a lot of georgous pictures to make my friends at home envious. Best time I had in Brisbane! Thank you.

Moreton Island... Do Everything Daytrip

Be prepared for the unexpected; we were late getting off the island and back to Brisbane due to a medical emergency forcing the ferry to turn around and go back to Brisbane. Not the fault of the tour operator at all. This comment moreso is to let others know to just be prepared. Lunch was provided and plenty of it, but we had taken extra snacks in a backpack and that did us well when the ferry was late. Overall an unforgettable day. Thank you Safari!

Brilliant day. Highly recommended.

Brilliant day, incredibly relaxing. Staff (especially Kayla) were delightful, saw heaps of beautiful fish and a turtle, lunch was delicious, the boat was stunning, the island is gorgeous. Note that the current around the wreck was surprisingly strong, so opt for wetsuit and lifejacket if not a really strong swimmer. We were really getting pushed along.

Great day out

We had James as our tour guide for the day and he had lots of knowledge to share with us throughout both the journey, and the activity itself. I also found him very humerous. We had a mixed range of nationalities on our bus and thankfully, they all seemed very friendly which made a change. It is hard to remember everything about that day as there was so much to learn and see, but it was a lovely trip and one I would recommend. The Glow Worms were not what I expected at all. I thought they would be a bit like our slow worms in the UK but that glowed in the dark, but they were nothing like them. They were so tiny.

Awesome Morning Tour

This was an informative, half day and all inclusive tour. It was very convenient as pick up and drop off was at our hotel, or another nominated place if you wanted to go elsewhere afterwards. Morning tea was provided with a drink of choice and a delicious cake from the Cafe at the Mount Coot-Tha lookout. Our guide Cheryl was friendly and gave a great commentary as we travelled from place to place. Her knowledge of Brisbane was fantastic. We loved her sense of humour and her joke about the bridges in Brisbane was hilarious. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone.

That the historical...

That the historical commentary was very informative and interesting. The weather can mean it can be very windy on the river. I would have liked more detailed information on how to find the Pontoon. I did not see any public signage and had to ask for directions, which were not accurate. I nearly missed the cruise.

Everyone coming to Australia should do this

Pretty much one of the coolest things we've done. Robert was great and patient. What a great experience, the family will never forget. We also learned a lot about the boomerang tradition generally. Everyone should do this. Also, the ride to the field was about 15 min from CBD, no problem.
