The staff was very nice. If it rains and they have to put the flaps down on the upper deck and can get very warm....but they were quick to roll them back up when it stopped. The coffee...tea and scones were very good.

The journey starts on the Brisbane River on board a boat. You cruise down thr river, interesting facts about the history. Then the boat stops and a short walk to breakfast Creek taven where you have lunch. After 2 hrs then back on boat to go back to where you started.

It was easy to use the site. It showed me what activities I could do in Brisbane. The cruise of the Brisbane River was good. Interesting facts on different places along the river. The food at breakfast Creek taven was ok. There was a variety of meals that ypu could get.

My husband and I had an average experience. The morning tea was not what we expected. Scones were not that fresh and no varieties of tea if you don't drink coffee. Cruise around the waters was pretty. Lots of information given. Then we went to lunch at Breakfast Creek Hotel. Awesome talk on a keg being cracked open although the food could have been better. Not much variety on the menu and the food we ordered was not that tasty. Could have done better at home. The experience was not really worth the money.

I’ll check in with the crew about the scones, although I have to admit this one left us scratching our heads. They were baked just a few hours before you boarded, with fresh cream whipped that morning and strawberries that were practically still saying hello to the punnet. I’m honestly not sure how to make them any fresher unless we start baking them on the bow as we cruise past South Bank.
We also keep extra tea varieties behind the bar, we don’t put every option out on the table, but the serving area next to the bar is always stocked. A quick “Do you have…” is all it takes and the crew will happily sort an alternative.
As for the rest of the day, I’m glad you enjoyed the river commentary and the keg‑cracking demo, even if the menu didn’t win you over. The menu is available on the website where you booked, so guests can check it out ahead of time. We know we can’t please everyone, though we do give it a red‑hot go.

Enjoyed the river cruise and able to see the many bridges of Brisbane. Delicious lunch at a local pub where they tap a keg of beer and serve a sample. If you only have a short time in the area this is an excellent tour to do.

We enjoyed ourselves. Staff were great. If from elsewhere a map to get to the Hotel would be helpful. Several of us took wrong turns and a few ran across the road dangerously as there was no obvious signage to the underpass. Only improvement needed.😁Don’t get run over

We do provide a clear map with step‑by‑step directions to the hotel, and the walking route is fully paved and clear once you follow the main crowd heading that way. It sounds like a few guests may have taken an alternate path, which can make things a bit confusing, especially if you’re not familiar with the area.
We’ll review our pre‑arrival information to see if we can make the directions even clearer, as guest safety is always our priority. We definitely don’t want anyone feeling unsure about where to go.

Great cruise to Breakfast Creek. The scones great as well. Crack the wooden beer keg and sample the beer on wood at Breakfast Creek Pub. Excellent lunch the steak top notch. Then picked up and cruise back to city tour informative and interesting. Service on both cries and pub first class

Few people on the boat were actually going to lunch and tables were limited when you arrived. The breakfast was poor and they ran out of the lunch my wife was expecting.

It is more than 400m, more like 500. 9 steps was about 20 to get on to bridge, fortunately there is a ramp on Breakfast Creek Hotel side.
If this information had been on your website, we would not have booked this cruise.

The walking distance has been accurately measured and clearly outlined in our materials. It’s typically a 5–7 minute walk through beautiful parklands along a flat, paved pathway beside the creek. The mention of 20 steps is an exaggeration, and ramp access is available to avoid stairs. We encourage all guests to assess their own capabilities before booking, and attendance at lunch is entirely optional.
This individual has already posted this same review elsewhere. It appears to be a copy-and-paste tactic intended to target our business. We have addressed the concerns they raised, many of which are inaccurate or misleading.

I had to wait 1 hour and 15 minutes from when my order was taken for my food to when I got my food. I had so little time to eat and I just about got back for my pickup time. Maybe you could consider calling ahead to order the lunch option at the breakfast creek Hotel on the cruise to lunch tour. Then people would a bit of time to explore the Newstead house and surrounding area.

Finding the location was straightforward thanks to clear directions, but unfortunately, the boat’s engine noise made it difficult to hear the commentary. On a brighter note, both the meals served onboard and the food at the pub were absolutely delightful.

Leisurely time to start the cruise , morning tea was lovey scones jam and cream. A short 10 minute walk from the boat to lunch .
Lunch at The Breakfast Hotel was great . Good choices. Watching the tapping of the timber keg and a sample beer also included . Crew on the boat and staff at the hotel were very attentive . Just shame we didn’t have a fine day weather wise .
