Koala sanctuary and river boat

The staff and crew on the boat were friendly and professional. The commentary was interesting and not too long. There was enough time at the sanctuary so was well timed. The food and service on the boat were excellent with reasonable prices. I would suggest purchasing here than in the sanctuary. Prompt departure. The koala sanctuary was a brilliant experience and well worth a visit. Seeing and petting kangaroos was a plus. Great day out overall

Australia Zoo Experience

We had a great time. The main show was excellent and the birds landed very close. The crocodiles were also great in the show as well as the commentary. You could pat a koala in the zoo under supervision and get a close up picture of one certain koala as well as kangaroos. Good range of food in the cafe. The place is well set out with a good tange of animals. There are shuttles if you wish to take you to different areas. Our driver to the zoo was also very pleasant. A good way to spend a day.

Lovely day out for family

Had a lovely day out with the family. Our nieces son really enjoyed feeing the kangaroos and seeing the farm animals It was also great to be able to feed the cockatiels and, later on, the sheep. William really enjoyed meeting the farm animals as well. It was good to see the koalas, flying foxes, reptiles, crocodiles……etc It was interesting to listen in on the crocodile talk and see the raptor display. Very enjoyable day out and will definitely come again. Was last here 25 years ago!

Fantastic and relaxing day trip!

A wonderful day on the island and just what I hoped it would be! Ivy was a wonderful tour guide, we had a good mix of people and several solo travelers, and saw a ton of wildlife! Sea turtles, kangaroos, koalas, flying foxes, and more. Can’t beat for a great and relaxing day, didn’t have to worry about anything. I also really appreciated they provided water and a cooler if you brought your own lunch, but there were also plenty of options to buy food on the island.

It's a full day but we'll worth the effort. Our guide Peter was wonderful. He gave us plenty of information and personally engaged each group during the day. Since you are limited to 11 people it makes for a great experience. He gave great recommendations on places to eat, knew the history of all the sites and was a pleasure to be with.

Shipwreck Snorkeling

This experience was super fun and the team was great with the kids. The sand sledding was definitely a fun experience. Snorkeling around the shipwrecks was amazing, there were so many beautiful fish. Everyone must wear a wetsuit, gloves and fins. The shipwrecks can be sharp therefore the reason for wearing wetsuits. Lunch is at around noon and they offered DIY wraps that had different choices of cold cuts, lettuce, tomato, cucumber, and shredded cheese. They had some good cookies too. Bring your own water bottle. They also provide sunscreen if you forget.

Relaxed and fun!

Dominic checked me in and helped with “suiting up”. She cracked some good jokes and made everyone feel more at ease. Abbie, our guide was a total ROCKSTAR… from start to finish- Safety, professional and fun. Some bicyclists were getting TOO close to our group as we were entering the bridge…she turned into “mama bear” 🐻 and went into protection mode. I don’t think the bicyclist expected that shoulder throw…but hey…she kept us safe. Seriously though, she kept us safe. No bicyclists were hurt during our climb… or were they 🤨. The views were amazing, the stories and education of the area were top shelf and ABBIE was a professional rock star! Great pictures!

Amazing Day!

What an incredible day! We started with a stop at Natural Bridge. We took a short, shaded walk down to a river which had a waterfall that flows into a cave underneath a natural stone bridge. Then we were off to Surfers Paradise. We had free time to do whatever we wanted or there were several other tours which could be taken (Jet Boat or AquaDuck Tour). After wandering around Surfers Paradise we were treated to lunch at Q1 which is a restaurant 77 floors above the city/beach. The food was good and the views phenomenal. Next we were off to The Spit. We walked all the way to the end of the Spit and took in the views of surfers, dogs on the beach, sailboats and even a sea turtle. The last stop of the day was Coombabah Preserve. This was the highlight of the trip. We saw hundreds of kangaroos, 3 koalas and a wallaby. I should mention that this tour included a lot of walking (15,000+ steps) and could be difficult for some. But it was so enjoyable and worth all the walking. Our guides Amber and Jamie were great and so knowledgeable. 10/10 Recommend

Adam picked us up at our apartment, took us to some lovely places outside of Brisbane City, The huge botanical gardens and the mountain view point overlooking all of Brisbane. He took us to Kangaroo point and drove us to see historical Queensland houses. He asked us if there was anywhere else we wanted to see , but we were happy with the places he took us, u asked him to re is taxi for our early flight the following day abd he kindly offered to take us , I was so grateful as I didn’t have the concern of finding a taxi company. Great time ,lovely guy.

Brilliant day. Highly recommended.

Brilliant day, incredibly relaxing. Staff (especially Kayla) were delightful, saw heaps of beautiful fish and a turtle, lunch was delicious, the boat was stunning, the island is gorgeous. Note that the current around the wreck was surprisingly strong, so opt for wetsuit and lifejacket if not a really strong swimmer. We were really getting pushed along.

The tour starts at a good time in an easy to find central location. Our guide, Tom, was really welcoming and knowledgeable. He was considerate to wait for a couple who were delayed by public transportation issues. The tour takes you to some great places of interest and other opportunities are pointed out along the way. Detailed local knowledge and an engaging nature, our guide made the experience worth every penny.

Great day out

We had James as our tour guide for the day and he had lots of knowledge to share with us throughout both the journey, and the activity itself. I also found him very humerous. We had a mixed range of nationalities on our bus and thankfully, they all seemed very friendly which made a change. It is hard to remember everything about that day as there was so much to learn and see, but it was a lovely trip and one I would recommend. The Glow Worms were not what I expected at all. I thought they would be a bit like our slow worms in the UK but that glowed in the dark, but they were nothing like them. They were so tiny.
