Brian expertly guided our group. He was very adept at pointing out wildlife we’d never have seen otherwise.

Picked up on time, not as much traffic on the drive to cleveland . Lovely ferry ride to straddie island beautiful views . Stopped at various places around the island . Saw lots of wildlife it was amazing !! Koalas, the biggest flying stick insect with the most beautiful coloured wings, manta ray, green turtles, even a small shark, sea eagle, osprey eating his fish dinner, more turtles, more manta rays and a abundance of various birds and many kangaroos. Those near cylinda beach were very close to us . Got some amazing photos . Had the best day, our driver Bryan was informative and he made the day so perfect . Thank you .

Although the weather wasn't the best, we had a lovely tour of Stradbroke Island.
Our tour guide Peter was fantastic, from the beginning right to the end.
He was very professional and was knowledgeable about the different places we visited at the Island.
We had a beautiful day out to Stradbroke Island and I would recommend this tour to anyone.

Huge shout out to Shane our tour guide for this trip- loved everything about the day, especially the koala sightings! If you are traveling to Brisbane please put this tour on your list- we were able to book easily on Viator after we arrived. My husband and I took one of the first direct flights from the US straight to Brisbane, it is an amazing, beautiful town and we can’t think Shane enough for a wonderful day!
Georgina_S, Nov 2024
The weather was cloudy the whole day so we couldn’t make the most out of it. Nevertheless we got to see sharks, dolphins, turtles and kangaroos and enjoyed the stunning views.
Robert_C, Nov 2024
Experienced guide was a able to find six koalas in the wild! One was no more than 10 ft off the ground! My wife and I had a great time! Highly recommend this tour to others.

Incredible beaches, lots of kangaroos and a Koala with a baby.
Our guide, Pete, was excellent. Made it a very memorable trip.

We had a fantastic day trip to North Stradbroke. Our tour guide James was very entertaining and brilliant at spotting all sorts of amazing wildlife. We saw koalas, kangaroos, ospreys, turtles, whales and a shark. One of the many highlights was watching dolphins surfing the waves whilst we ate our lunch! It was a memorable day topped off with a swim in the ocean. It was the last full day of our trip to Queensland and the perfect way to end our holiday. This is a great tour and worth every penny!

The whole guided tour was excellent. The tour guide had excellent knowledge of the island and the whole trip went smoothly. I saw koalas, a dolphin, kangaroos and sea turtles

Nothing short of amazing! Our guide was so helpful, and explained everything in detail.
So much wildlife, koalas, kangaroos, we could see some whales and turtles.
Fascinating!!!
Savindri_T, Aug 2024
The guide was super helpful in spotting so much wildlife from koalas to whales. We wouldnt have seen half of what we did, had we gone alone. Definitely recommend

This was our 2nd tour with James. He was great! One kid loved it, and one was bored. We loved the walk and saw lots of wildlife. There was a nice beach oft the park/walk and we assumed that was where the kids would be able to swim. It wasn't. The beach they were allowed to swim in the tour was far from drop off and, with changing 2x, they only had about 25 min. Total was 45. Not enough for kids, but I guess you have to cater to all ages. It was hot and we really wish we had more time to enjoy Straddie. Everything was kind of rushed...lunch, beach, walk. Overall, good, and we did enjoy.

Hi,
Thank you for your Review. Well i do understand for many children travel can be a bit boring and especially a long day tour. I assume that you travelled with us recently and given it is winter very few guests want to swim. For this reason we normally cut back a little on beach time and spend more time on wildlife and whale spotting.
Again our appreciation and thank you for going on two tours with us.
Regards
Jo-Anne

Our tour guide was amazing! He was fun and a wealth of information. With his experience, we were able to see koalas, a swamp wallaby, a mama roo and her joey, and lots of other wildlife. And the ocean views on the hiles were breathtaking!
Kenneth_D, May 2024
Our tour guide Brian was excellent, with lots of interesting information provided during the trip. We saw koalas, kangaroos and even some whales in the distance.

Melanie_P, Apr 2024
James our guide was phenomenal! Took us to beautiful walking trails along dramatic beaches. He has a keen eye for finding various types of sea life, such as pods of dolphin & sharks. He took us on a koala searching walk (we found several in the trees!) and also saw many wild kangaroos. A wonderful excursion that we highly recommend! James made our day!
Rebecca_V, Mar 2024
Beautiful views, our tour guide was very informative. We did see Koalas and Kangaroos but none of the other animals mentioned.
Christina_B, Mar 2024
This was an amazing day trip. James was a fantastic guide, very knowledgeable with a great sense of humour. He was a master at spotting wildlife and we got to see kangaroos, dolphins, turtles, koalas etc. I enjoyed every minute of this tour.

Wonderful day exploring the island
Our guide went out of his way to find koalas and wildlife for us to see
JohnJames_H, Jan 2024
The tour was very good. Learning about the history of the island then finishing off the day with a refreshing swim.
Marg_E, Jan 2024
Such a disappointment. Driving around and around wasting time on a sweltering hot day looking for a koala in a tree. Beach time was cut in half because of this.
Driver was awful and cranky, repeating himself in commentary, changing his mind about meeting times which is so confusing.
No time to look in local Aborigine art shops
michael_h, Dec 2023
Awesome time, sites were incredible and the guide was awesome! Made it super fun! The pictures were incredible.
David_J, Nov 2023
Great trip, great guide and fabulous place to visit. Well worth going saw turtles, dolphins, koalas and kangaroos.
Thomas_K, Nov 2023
It was a great tour and a great guide. I enjoyed all the wild animals during the trip. The guide made sure to point them out during the trip.
Louis_Z, Nov 2023
This is a must tour absolutely great. Our tour guide James was a wealth of information about the island Australia and the animals. We saw Koalas Roos Dolphins Turtles and got a chance to swim. Also remember to tip your guides that do a good job. I see too many not showing their appreciation for a great experience.
