A unforgettable day out with Brisbane Whale Watching. We saw a mother and her calf numerous times and we even got to see a juvenile male breach out of the water several times. In addition to this we saw turtles and dolphins. The food was excellent and catered to an allergy in the group with an alternative. Couldn’t recommend this trip enough and a must do when in the area.

Within an hour we experienced our 1st sighting of a female with calf, absolutely exhilarating experienced, especially when more pods were sighted.

Food intolerance catered for. Food was excellent. Commentary was informative. You can either watch from cabin or go up on deck.

Had a great day out. Saw many Mummas and their calves. A few breaching whales and lots of big tail slaps. Lunch is supplied and very fresh. Always love a day out whale watching with Brisbane Whale Watching Redcliffe. Crew and extremely knowledgeable and Captain Kerry is awesome.

It was our first whale watching and we were lucky to have multiple viewings and close encounters! The whole team was great and commentary was excellent. Loved how the team had ensured to make the boat whale friendly and whales were not afraid to come close.

The entire team was great to work with from booking, transportation to and from the hotel and the best part,
the whales were so close to the boat!

Couldn't believe how many whales so close. Just wonderful.
Only negative was some misunderstanding about our pick up cost.

Fantastic day out and experience at Brisbane Whale Watch today!!! We saw several pods of Humpback Whales and they stayed around/with us for well over an hour, which was just amazing!!! The boat, staff and lunch/service were all awesome too and with a fair sense of humour to go with it!!! The best day of our holiday without a doubt!!! 🇦🇺🐋🐋🐋🇦🇺

I was picked up from an inner city hotel (super convenient), by a friendly and funny bus driver - Ray.
Ray drove us safely to Redcliffe, and we boarded the 'Eye Spy' catamaran. Fantastic boat, voyage and crew. The captain-Kerri, was incredibly informative and was also able to let us know where the pods of whales (and some dolphins) were.
It was honestly one of the most memorable experiences, and I cannot recommend everyone involved highly enough - Viator for help with the booking, Ray on the bus, and the Eye Spy team.
Thanks again for a fantastic day out.

Water was clear. We saw two or three humpback whales up close. They frolicked just around the boat. Captain Kerry was wonderful--giving whale information at intervals and moving the boat often so all could get a good view. The boat was not too crowded. We had a wonderful visit.

We loved this excursion! We saw many whales, about six breaches, a giant tortoise, six dolphins, and a hammerhead shark on our trip!

This was an absolutely amazing trip. To see the whales up close like that is just spectacular. I was concerned about how engaging in a tour like this may adversely affect the whales, but the crew were very clear (and proud!) about how their boat is specifically designed to not disturb the whales, and once you are out there you see that the whales if anything are just as interested in us as we are in them. We were not chasing them and they could have easily gotten away from us if they wanted. The person providing commentary helped you to spot the whales easily and provided a lot of interesting information about what we were seeing. My only complaints would be that the stuff on board (tea, sodas, etc.) was very expensive and the lunch was meh.

Every stage met our expectations and was totally awesome for our very first time whale watching trip.

Loved seeing the whales up close and watching the whales breaching was the highlight. We also enjoyed the enthusiasm of the crew for their job and the love for the whales.

Well organised tour : transfer from / to Brisbane, safe ship with highly qualified crew. Healthy lunch. Reasonable number of tourists gives opportunity to enjoy the cruise and whale watching. We watched many whales and took many photos and videos. I have to cancel one ticket. It was easy to do via chat on the cite. My family and me will be happy to repeat the whale watching tour as well as go on other tours with Viator. Thank you very much for the amazing time.

We were picked up in a lovely coach and began our drive to Redcliffe. Once there we bored the boat which was very spacious, clean and modern. We then set out on the boat, we saw some amazing sights both in the water and on the land and islands we passed. Then the skipper who was very imformative told us that they could see whales and continued to see tell us when they saw them so we could get the best views. The whales were stunning they breached the water and jumped and we even got to see some calves. Seeing these animals in their natural habitats was one of the most humbling experiences. The lunch on board was also very tasty and their was plenty of options. We then got taken back to our hotel which was very convenient. This is a must do when in Brisbane.

We were promised whales and that is what we got. But over and above that we got to see them really close while playing. Service and commentary was excellent and I would fully recommend this trip to anyone.

Comfortable boat with plenty of toilets and great bar and souvenirs

This company is really well organised. They’ve got an excellent boat which is designed for watching whales up close. The staff are friendly and a lot of information about whales is relayed. We saw many of these magnificent animals up close - it was truly awesome.
Grumpyscottsman76, Aug 2018
Brilliant crew with great sense of humour. They knew exactly where to Really worth every penny. The crew was full of humour while educating. They knew where to find these gracious animals. We were then subjected to breaching and flipper slaps. I’d give this 110% if I could.
Ken_L, Jul 2018
The tour included being picked up from the hotel and taken to the pier which was about 45 minutes from Brisbane. The purpose-built boat the Eye Spy was room and comfortable and the included lunch on board was wonderful. But the whale watching was over the top with dozens of hump backs sometimes just a few metres from the boat was the experience of a life time for us. We saw dozens of breaches at close quarters which we had not expected. A truly incredible day.
Carolyn_M, Sep 2017
Incredible!!! Six whales hung out very close to our boat the entire time, with lots of other pods on the horizon. Mother and baby came close, doing fin slaps. Full breaches all over the place. I expected to see whales but this WILDLY exceeded expectations!!! I'm sure it varies all the time, but I was lucky to see a very active day.
