Wonderful foody day!

Loved the entire day. It was educational and tasty! I loved learning how Parmesan, Balsamic vinegar, and sparkling Lambrusco are produced. The guides at each venue we visited were gracious and very informative. Each venue provided generous and delicious tastings at the end of each tour of the production facilities. Lunch, which included a wide variety of delicious regional dishes, was fantastic and oh so filling! Valentina, our guide for the day, was excellent! She shared knowledge of the geography and history of the region that contributed to the production of the products we tasted, as well as the foods common in this region and those we had at lunch. Consequently, I would highly recommend this tour to any foodies visiting Bologna!

A Wonderful Tour of Bologna’s History, Culture, and Hidden Gems!

We had a wonderful experience exploring Bologna with Sammy! Over the course of a little more than two hours, he took us through the city’s fascinating history, beautiful churches, historic university, hidden canals, medieval markets, and vibrant food districts. What made the tour especially memorable was Sammy’s personal perspective as a master’s student living in Bologna. He shared not only the city’s rich history but also what it’s like to live and study here today, giving us a genuine feel for the local culture. Amazing time

We had an amazing food tour in Bologna with Mateo! We got to taste six different items and visit several local shops, and Mateo did a fantastic job showing us what to try and what was worth buying to take home. We picked up delicious food along the way and enjoyed wine throughout the tour, making it such a fun and authentic experience. One of the highlights was visiting one of the last remaining bars where you can bring your own picnic and enjoy all the food you’ve collected along the way. We also loved stopping at a small, independently owned pasta shop where a single man makes fresh pasta right in front of you. It was such a special, authentic experience that you wouldn’t necessarily find on your own! We left completely full, happy, and with a much better appreciation for Bologna’s incredible food culture. Mateo was knowledgeable and helpful, and we loved getting to explore the city through its local shops and culinary traditions. Highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Bologna who wants to eat well and experience the city like a local!

Super fun cooking class with Kate and Clara! They made the ragu for us, but Kate taught us how to make the tagliatelle from scratch and Clara taught us how to make the spritz. Great energy and overall a very enjoyable and yummy experience! Highly recommend if you’re ever in Bologna!

Pasta & Tiramisu Cooking Class

My wife, Emma, and I really enjoyed this cooking class in Bologna. We were shown how to make tiramisu, tortellini and tagliatelle, with prosecco and wine provided along the way. After a demonstration from our guide, Luca, we got stuck in and then, of course, got to eat everything we’d made. The atmosphere was really fun and friendly, and Luca was a great host. He was very entertaining and made the whole experience feel relaxed rather than like a formal cooking lesson. We were also lucky enough to be paired with a couple of Americans who were both also called Emma, and they were absolutely delightful company! The only slight downside was that it was quite tight around the table with everyone working together, and being tall, I found it a little awkward at times. In the end, though, we were having such a good time that it really didn’t matter. A fun, sociable and very tasty way to spend a few hours in Bologna. 8/10.
