The tour was very good and the experience was made even better by the tour guide Borja. His knowledge of his history and culture is vast. The delivery of the commentary in multiple languages was flawless. Above all, the love for his country and culture shone very bright and it was infectious in a very good way.

Our pintxo tour last night was outstanding. Jack delivered delicious food at every stop, but what truly set the experience apart was his warm hospitality and genuine passion for the region. This tour is a really fun introduction to the pintxo culture of Bilbao. We had tasty food and drinks, and learned about Bilbao and Basque culture. Our guide Kaya was knowledgeable and fun. The whole family (teen son to grandma) enjoyed the experience!

This was a great night, it is only a short experience, not a tour but a brilliant experience all the same. We had a wonderful host that wowed us with her knowledge and talent with wine and food. This consisted of some cheese and cured meats. It was not quantity here but quality, they were selected with 5 wines, 3 white and two red, all from the local area. The disappointing part was that there wasn’t enough people to witness how good this was. The wine were of high quality and we went through a journey which tested our senses, sight, taste and smell, we all gained knowledge of what made the wines so well balanced and structured. The other couple who came were equally pleased with the evening. All this took place in a private room at the back of the restaurant/bar so after we went into the bar and sat at a table, I ordered more wine accompanied with croquettes and a hummus dip that was so smooth and delicious. They had layered the top with various spices. It was a brilliant night and we thoroughly enjoyed it.

My daughter and I enjoyed the day trip from Bilbao! The landscape was beautiful and the architecture of the Marqués de Riscal hotel and Ysios winery were incredible. Great wine from all three vineyards! Our guide was fantastic and very knowledgeable about wine and the area. Highly recommend!

Very interesting visit to La Rioja and a local winery. Also visited another village, La Guardia, and Vitoria-Gasteiz. Tour guide was helpful and provided good information, drive was interesting and so were the places visited. A good day tour from Bilbao.

Nuria was a delight. Very knowledgeable and accommodating, especially with my mom who has some mobility issues. Very personable and made sure to cater to what we wanted to see and do. So lucky to have gotten her as a tour guide. She even helped us find the best way to the meeting spot with very clear and helpful instructions. She really helped us to get to know Bilbao and the culture of the Basque Country. Her enthusiasm and love for the country shows through and her kindness and affinity for people as well. Ask for Nuria, she’ll show you the best places to eat and all the secrets that most tourists will miss.

Our driver and guide Olaia was lively, knowledgeable and interesting and drove us to the Rioja Lavesa wine region ( from Bilbao). We visited 3 wineries. The first included a tour of the 15th century hand hewn cellars below the building. The wines of all 3 bodegas visited was of the highest quality and on the way back Olaia took us to the walled town of LaGuardia for some pinxtos. It was a long day starting at 8:30am and she dropped us back at our hotel 8 hours later. Overall a great experience
