Our guide, Oni, was great. Her English was great, she was very nice, super knowledgeable, gave the group informative facts and a good/patient driver! Trip was very informative and we visited multiple sites. We had excellent guide & driver Paula. She provided the right amount of historic information to understand bacground of places visited. Paula kept good pace of the tour and made sure we have time to see and experience most important sites. The scenery along the way is beautiful and the towns are beautiful as well. The trip was very educational, informative and enlightening. Each city had its own charm and stories to learn. Its a great way to get a glimpse of each of them to get a turbo charged experience of the Basque Country. Borja is a very knowledgeable and friendly guide. It’s impossible to remember everything he teaches you along the way but he does it in an enjoyable way.

Day trip was very well organized and it covered all stops included incluye dinero the itinerary . Mini van was confortable and our tour guide, Onintze, was excellent. She explained lots of history information about every city that we visited. She was very helpful , polite and professional .

Good trip. Packed a lot in and ended with super view over San Sebastián . Downside have liked better info on places to eat in San Sebastián as we were shown the most touristy street at lunchtime and everywhere was full!!

We had a great time despite all day rain. Each stop was beautiful in a different way. Borja was a great tour guide and Basque teacher. Would have liked guided tour in Biarritz and San Juan de Luz like we had in San Sebastián.

We were a group of 12, but were divided into 2 groups of 6 that toured individually. I really appreciated that. Our guide, Borja, spoke excellent English, and was so knowledgeable about Basque culture. We even were introduced to some really beautiful Basque music. Each of the towns that we visited, Biarritz, St. Jean de Luz, and San Sebastián had their own character, culture, natural beauty and culinary treats that they were known for. All are very worth visiting, and this tour provided the right amount of time and guidance for each one. Thank you, Borja, for making this a memorable trip (even in the rain!)

I wanted to love this tour, but I didn’t. It was simply too rushed. We had one hour in Bairritz and only 40 minutes in Saint Jean de Luz. In San Sebastián, we barely had time for lunch. I would recommend that people go to 2 of the 3 locations but not try to go to all 3 in one day.

Thanks a lot for your feedback. Indeed you will need at least a full day or a couple of days to see a city or a village properly.
If you read the inclusions and details of the tour before booking it you will find the exact time that we spend in each of the places and total duration and you will be able to understand better the tour.
Its impossible to see 3 cities in one day in depth, this tour is a short dive-in into each of the locations so that you can see them all, since its very difficult to access the french cities on your own or with any other tour from Bilbao.
This way you make the most of it during your time in Bilbao.
We always recommend to read well all the details and times of the tour before booking them, so that you are aware of the content, understand the tour before booking it and can decide if you want to book it or not accordingly.

It was so boring, the 2 tour managers were un informed and they talked about euskara at length … a language we foreign people haven’t read. The bus was full !!! Too many people talking at the same time. People were sleeping on the bus.

We take note of your comments and we are really sorry that you had such a bad time.
Our purpose is that you enjoy an interesting and happy day while visiting and discovering new places.
During the road parts, our guides speak always about our local language, heritage, customs, culture etc as it is natural in any tour, we are sorry that you found it boring.
We had a group of 31 clients in total, with 2 guides, in a comfortable bus. In a group tour with other clients, when the guides are not explaining, usually people tend to speak with each other and we understand that you might find this unpleasant. Sorry, this is something that we cannot avoid.
During the return from San Sebastian to Bilbao, it is very usual after a long day of 9 hours of touring and lunch, that many people have a nice nap to recover, but not because they were bored and got asleep due to the explanations of our guides, no, our guides are super attentive and always try to explain everything in an interesting way and this last part returning back to Bilbao is left like that because most of the clients prefer to sleep a bit and take it easy.
Even though your comments were not very positive, be hope that you enjoyed the destinations, the views from mount Igueldo, the tasting of traditional basque cake that we included you and the nice pintxos in San Sebastian etc. As I explained at the beginning, our goal is that all our customers enjoy the day, that is the point when you go on vacations. We will keep on trying our best to that goal. Thanks a lot for your understanding.

Great way to see the Basque coast and coastal towns in France. Biarritz, St Jean de Luz, and San Sebastián. Would be nice each place again to have time to linger in the town centers. Was able to purchase macaroons in the original shop, Madison Adam. The driver/guide gave tour in Spanish and English.

Maider did a fantastic job telling us about the Basque people and their history and culture. I loved the three places we visited on this tour. Biarritz, San Juan de Luz and San Sebastián are as quaint and enchanting as I imagined. Even the scenery on the drive was beautiful because we had a perfect sunny day.

I took this tour in March 2025 in Bilbao (Spain) and I had a very nice time. It was one of my best walking tours! Our local guide and driver Paula was amazing and very knowledgeable about Bilbao and the Basque Country and I enjoyed walking with her! Paula gave us a local gourmet sweet (very tasty). I would recommend this tour to anyone visiting Bilbao.

Amazing historian as a guide enthusiastically shared his love for his country and culture. He was an amazing driver brought us safely to three destinations without a hitch, and found the best places for us to celebrate the baskets in each of these three places. We had ample time to explore, and dine and walk the beach. This is an extra, extraordinary experience. I would not miss it for the world makes coming to these places much easier than if you were to drive yourself. And through the experience you get to learn so much.
