We had a fantastic time with Usoa! She took all our differing tastes into consideration when making recommendations for drinks and pintxos to try. Her knowledge of the city and its history was incorporated into our experience, however the best part was the atmosphere she created. She made it feel like we were just catching up with an old friend.

Our guide Adur was fantastic! We were expecting a great trip through Basque wine country and ended up with a wonderful trip that included an intriguing overview of Spanish history and how it related to the Basque Country through which we were traveling. Adur’s interaction during our wine tours made the experiences even better as he was able to help interpret when our broken Spanish and absent Basque language was insufficient (he’s fluent in several languages). The wineries that he chose for us to visit were quite different but complimented each other and gave us a broad experience. we had lunch in LaGuardia and it was perfect! we trusted Adur to choose the pintxos for us based on our previous discussions and he nailed it. Overall, 15/10 experience. When we come back to Basque Country, we will be asking for Adur for any tours that he is available for!

This private tour was everything it was advertised to be. Zack picked us up right at our hotel in a beautiful luxury sedan and drove us from Bilbao to a morning walking Tour of San Sebastian. We saw the beaches, the kayak surfers, the bay, the marina, the fresh market. All before it became too crowded. Then we set out for the fishing town of Getaria for some walking and touring before he brought us to a waterside outdoor restaurant for grilled fish, which we simply loved!! You can practically watch the chef cook your fish at the outdoor grill situated just at the front of the restaurant. After lunch we were brought to a geological park along the Atlantic coast that shows rock formations that are millions of years old. This region was featured in the last season of the Game of Thrones saga. In summary, this was a private tour and was exactly what we wanted. No large groups with a guide wearing a headset and you listening to their distorted voice coming thru cheap earbuds; the flexibility to stop for a restroom whenever we needed it; the luxury to have a wonderful and relaxing outdoor lunch and to be able to text Zack whenever we were ready to be picked up; and to have his ear when we had questions, not having to share him with many other tourists and not having to fear monopolizing his time when others also want some attention. If this is the type of experience you are seeking, look no further than this tour option!!

This was such a wonderful tour. We had never done a tour excursion before and this was our first time in Bilbao. It was so worth it. Wallace was an incredible and very knowledgeable guide and Josu was an excellent tour bus driver. Thank you for the wonderful experience!

Our driver and guide Olaia was lively, knowledgeable and interesting and drove us to the Rioja Lavesa wine region ( from Bilbao). We visited 3 wineries. The first included a tour of the 15th century hand hewn cellars below the building. The wines of all 3 bodegas visited was of the highest quality and on the way back Olaia took us to the walled town of LaGuardia for some pinxtos. It was a long day starting at 8:30am and she dropped us back at our hotel 8 hours later. Overall a great experience

Trip was very informative and we visited multiple sites. We had excellent guide & driver Paula. She provided the right amount of historic information to understand bacground of places visited. Paula kept good pace of the tour and made sure we have time to see and experience most important sites. The scenery along the way is beautiful and the towns are beautiful as well. Highly recommended 11/10

We had a wonderful private tour withi Íñigo. It wasn’t about “checking off” tourist sites but rather about getting a real sense of this beautiful city. We walked a lot and saw a great deal, and his narrative was illuminating and fascinating. We recommend him without hesitation.

We were not able to go on this tour due to weather. I gave it a 5 because the communication with the tour operator was very clear and timely. We were given a refund. The tour operator also recommended several places we should visit, on foot, while in Balbao.
