This was our second tour with Stefan. He has a deep and broad knowledge that brings not only the places to life but the journey in between (and a quirky sense of humour to boot!). Loyolla is fascinating, if compact, being the beginnings of the Jesuit order. Getaria is a nice break in the journey to San Sebastian. San Sebastian is incredible and probably deserves at least a whole day to itself, if not a stay in its own right.

This was a phenomenal experience! Usoa was a great guide who really enjoys talking with people and sharing the culture of Bilbao. The food was absolutely fantastic (even as a somewhat picky eater), and quite varied. We had a great time wandering around the city, talking about its history and changes over the years. A really nice way to meet other travelers and share in learning about the culture of Bilbao!

Good value both for the drinks and the sommelier. Irene is very knowledgeable and engaging and we came away feeling we had learned a great deal about these delicious Basque wines. Pairing the wines with local cheeses and meats added an extra dimension to the experience. The atmosphere was great fun and we were lucky to be with just one other couple so the atmosphere was intimate and fun throughout. At the end of Irene’s session we were able to stay in the room and continue drinking the remains of the wines and chat. A really good experience overall and one we would highly recommend.

I'd recommend this experience very highly. We are usually happy to travel independently but, as were were only in Bilbao for 2 nights, we thought it would be a shortcut to the good spots and to find about the city and region. It was a great decision. Our guide (Kara) was great company and very knowledgeable. She took us from bar to bar, asking about what we liked and didn't like so she could make the best choices for us...and also challenge us to try some things too. We enjoyed a fabulous selection of pintxos...and more than a couple of drinks too. A really wonderful evening. Thank you.

What a wonderful experience. This was our first time in Basque Country and we wanted to get a feel for Pintxos and how to order them. Our guide, Kaya, did not disappoint. We met her at a central easy to find location just outside the old city, where we instantly made a connection. We were lucky that the weather was perfect that night and to make things even better, it was just the two of us on the tour. Kaya took us to some fabulous pubs and food shops where she explained all the different items we could order and suggested some amazing beverages to try out. All delicious! She also provided history of Bilbao as well as Basque culture. During the tour we bumped into some of Kaya’s friends and family which really added to the experience. Bilbao may be a big city but it has a tight-knit community feel. Bilbao was truly the highlight on our trip throughout the Basque region. Kaya bought my husband a traditional Basque dessert for his birthday that night and sang happy birthday to him Basque. This was so kind making him feel very special. As we parted ways, Kaya gave excellent recommendations of bars to check out that night. Bilbao is such a clean and walkable city and most importantly, has an amazing food scene. Later that week, Kaya messaged me Pintxos bar recommendations in San Sebastián/ Donostia since she knew we were heading there next during our trip. Going above and beyond! We could not recommend this tour enough and be sure to ask for Kaya as your guide!! Thank you Kaya for making our tour/trip so memorable!!!

This was a great way to get a nice introduction to the old city. Samuel was very knowledgeable and informative. I appreciate that he also showed some of the little details that made the city more interesting. I was glad it was limited to a small group and I would definitely recommend this tour to first time visitors.

We ended up having the tour to ourselves and it was amazing. Our guide, Eduardo, was so kind and fun, and he gave us just enough background info without overwhelming us. The two wineries we visited and their staff were outstanding, as well as the lunch which was casual but authentic and delicious. We felt so welcomed and had the perfect experience! The drive was also very scenic. 10/10 would recommend and do it again.

Our tour guide, Alejandro was in constant contact with us prior to the meeting. It was easy to find him by the Guggenheim Museum. He even brought us a little gift. The tour was very informative and tailored to our interests. Alejandro was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the city of Bilbao. He had a great sense of humor as well. He was very caring and obviously enjoyed being a guide and we enjoyed having him as our guide. We highly recommend!
