Breathtaking Vistas with "Dream Team" of Tour Guide and Driver

The itinerary was excellent, a balanced mixture of sightseeing by bus and by ferry, a delicious lunch stop, and a healthy hike up to the spectacular lake. Adding to the pleasure were both our tour guide (Sinnevan?) who is a local resident and whose family has roots in the area. She knew so much about the area and shared so many details and stories of the area and it's people. We were also lucky to have such a great driver. Jacob (sp?) shared other details about the sights along the way. They were so personable and went out of their way to reach out to us all. I wish I had written down their names as they deserve to be applauded for making this such a memorable trip.

The trip had a live tour guide (in English) explaining everything the boat read passing. She was available to ask questions when she wasn't speaking over the microphone. The majority of the seats are inside, but there are outdoor seats at the back of the boat on the upper level, and a space to stand outside at the front is the boat. There is a small cafe bar to buy baked goods and drinks.

Worth every penny! If there is one thing you’d pick to do during your stay in Bergen, this is it. Big bus was nice and comfortable and pickup location was convenient, the views of the fjords were breathtaking. They stopped often to allow everyone a snack break/ bathroom break. We stopped at a couple of viewpoints, and also at a waterfall. Very scenic route and our tour guide was amazing! She shared many fun facts, funny stories, and songs. Didn’t overdo it but just the right amount to keep everyone entertained. Again 10/10 recommend!!!

Great Norwegian fjord cruise and tour

This was an all day tour - from 8 am until 7 pm. It's a long drive from Bergen to Nærøyfjorden/Flam fjord cruise/tour. Thomas was a great guide. He was entertaining and informative - give us a short tour of Bergen as we left the city and along the way to our cruise drop off point. He also showed off his driving skills as he carefully thread his way up and down the narrow mountain road to Stegastein viewpoint. We thoroughly enjoyed this tour and would gladly tour with Thomas again.

Bjarte!

Bjarte was amazing! He truly went above and beyond, and loves what he does. Awesome itinerary. Be aware the crowds at some of the stops can be a lot, and the trip can be compromised by the weather. Fortunately Bjarte was able to handle any situations with ease. 10/10 would recommend if you can deal with crowds on the boat and in Flam.

A fantastic one day trip to Flåm.

This was a very well organised tour with our guide Lorenzo and driver Paul doing a fantastic job of keeping us on time and on track for the next phase of the tour. Lorenzo gave a great run down of the tour as we headed to Vos and then a lot of history to Norway. The Flåm railway is spectacular and well worth doing as was the fjord cruise with sensational scenery and waterfalls. The Viking village was good but not the highlight. Even though the tour is long, time seemed to go quickly and not a lot of walking required. Overall a very worthwhile trip and value for money.

Wonderful different view of fjords for whole family!

Amazing trip. Family of four-kids ages 10 and 13. All enjoyed. Went after doing the larger cruise through the Nærøyfjord and this was a great addition-exciting and much closer look at the fjords. Leader Maurius was great! Tips:arrive 20 min early so have time to get dressed. Wear warm clothes even under insulated suit-it gets cold at the boat speeds (and we are used to cold). Bring a water wallet for phone to wear around neck-that way you don’t worry about phone getting wet or dropping it! Boots are best or water proof shoes. 10year old found it a little long and uncomfy due to feet not reaching floor but would still do it again! Very interesting facts about salmon farming.

Limited seating inside, best to get there 15-20 mins earlier to secure good spots. During the ride, you’re able to go outside on the decks at any time, they serve drinks and snacks as well. It’s a beautiful, scenic ride with very friendly staff who are at your service for the whole trip.

Rainy day in Bergen

Jana was excellent. We were hampered by rain, often heavy, so we redefined our outing. We had seen a lot of the usual tourist sites before so took bus and Uber to churches and sites in suburbs. She is delightful, very knowledgeable, English fluent. Highly recommend her, well worth it.

A great half-day excursion!

I accidentally booked out of Stavanger instead of Bergen. Stavanger is 4 hours away and Viator helped me rebook from Bergen even though I was past the 24 hour no-refund period so I was very grateful. This was a great 3 hour trip. The Electric catamara is very stable and quiet. The boat did stop at certain spots so people could get out on deck and take pictures. They also provided narration in english as we navigated the fjords. Seating indoors was very comfortable and featured ample restrooms and a snack bar. Despite the short trip, saw sone awesome remote villages deep in the fjord. I would highly recommend this trip!
