We had an amazing day thanks to Mikael our guide who was very informative and friendly. He kept us on time without us feeling rushed at any point. We stopped at the Viking, which was very informative and life like. The highlight was the scenic luxury boat, where the views of the landscape were breathtaking! The railway was also so so scenic. I would recommend this trip to all my friends and family. It is expensive but I can honestly say it’s worth it!

It was an amazing excursion during which everything was organized perfectly with Maria as our guide. She knew a lot about all that we things we saw and experienced during the day, she gave very useful tips for our stay in Bergen and she was amazing with our kids. I recommend this excursion to everyone who has little time in Norway and wants to see some beautiful highlights outside of Bergen.

Excellent from start to finish!! Our guide was great. Very informative and friendly. We packed a lot into the day and it was very organised and ran like clockwork. So pleased I booked it . We saw more of this beautiful country with this trip as we were only here on a city break.

Excellent tour and amazing experience. This all-day tour is a must-do. From visiting a Viking village to a fjord cruise to the scenic Flamsbanna railroad. The guide was excellent, providing narration and information the whole day. We did the tour in February and were prepared for the weather. There was food and drink on the Ferry ride to Flåm and plenty of indoor sitting space. We spent our time on deck though to take in the sights. The train ride was spectacular, and we spent much of the time taking pictures out of the large windows. The return train to Voss was quiet and comfortable. The bus was well appointed and comfortable. The tour ended right on time, giving us an opportunity to have dinner at the nearby fish market. Highly recommended for a scenic all day adventure to see Norway’s stunning scenery.

This trip was wonderful and i recommend it if you ever are in Bergen for a short time.
It might be expensive, but it worths every penny.

The tour guide was knowledgeable and friendly. He was also clear with instructions for each part of the tour and handled everything for the group. The activities of the tour were a perfect “Norway in a day” combination. The Viking Village was vey interesting about daily life and overall culture of that part of Norway’s history. The fjord tour was beautiful.

A very full day, but a great one. Michael, our driver and tour guide, was full of information, funny and enthusiastic. He clearly loves his job and Norway. It was a fair amount of time in the van at the start and end, but it was great to have the boat tour of the fjords and experience both a historic train and a modern one. I highly recommend.

Our tour Guide was fantastic! :) Very friendly and professional and extremely informative. Spoke very well. And very organised. We were fortunate enough to have a private tour since we were the only ones booked for that day. So we had a van to ourselves which was great. It was comfortable and heated seats! My husband and I spent part of our honeymoon in Norway and decided to make the most of our time in Bergen by booking this tour. It is jam packed and worth every penny. We didn’t want to close our eyes because every few seconds there was something amazing to see. Pictures do not do it justice.
Ivan, our tour guide was genuinely a wonderful person and you can tell he loves what he does. Linda our driver was also incredible, very sweet and drove very smoothly! My one complaint was that I wish we could have spent more time at each stop. However, the itinerary is so packed, it made sense stops were so short. If you have more than a day, I suggest booking multiple tours, but if you only have a day- this tour is for you.

My wife and I visited Bergen for the first time to attend a work conference, and we signed up for this tour as a way to get an orienting introduction to the region. The tour was a VERY full day that covered started with some history of Bergen as we wound through town on the way up into the mountains, a lot of fun and accessible commentary about modern life in Norway from the friendly guide along the way, a deep dive into Viking history at a living history village (with lots of fun activities including axe throwing and archery, along with locally produced crafts), a scenic fjord cruise on an amazing, eco-friendly catamaran, and a short journey on one of the steepest and most gorgeous train journeys in the world. A really great option for folks who want a little taste of lots of different parts of the history, geography, and culture of western Norway in a concentrated (11 hour) swath of time and without having to make a bunch of independent travel arrangements on one's own. Linda and Ivan were wonderful hosts. Would absolutely recommend!

We felt we lucked out with the weather in that it wasn’t raining like in Bergen. We got an excellent position on the boat. The Viking village was very interesting with our guide being animated. The Flam rail was relaxing with a surprise at the stop.
