We had an amazing day thanks to Mikael our guide who was very informative and friendly. He kept us on time without us feeling rushed at any point. We stopped at the Viking, which was very informative and life like. The highlight was the scenic luxury boat, where the views of the landscape were breathtaking! The railway was also so so scenic. I would recommend this trip to all my friends and family. It is expensive but I can honestly say it’s worth it!

We really enjoyed our day long tour --the ride on the Flåm railway was so beautiful and the fjord cruise was SPECTACULAR! I had low expectations for the Viking Village, but it was really great too -- we had a very well informed guide who delivered a well paced talk about the Vikings' history, society & accomplishments. Our tour guide Maria was outgoing and lively, and our bus driver Linda was great! I really appreciated her finding my prescription glasses (that I left on the bus) and leaving them for me to pick up the next day. 👍👍👍👍

Very organized and professional. The guides were very knowledgeable and we learned a lot. Best way to enjoy the beauty of Nærøyfjord.

Tracey the guide was fantastic. She did a good job keeping pace. Our bus driver Michael was also wonderful. There was a bilingual guide on tour as well, and he was very kind and happy to answer questions as well.
The cruise was beautiful and so was the train ride. The Viking village very much felt like a tourist attraction. I just feel it was a little too expensive. You could definitely do it on your own for at least half the price. I know tours are always more expensive, but I don’t think it needs to be that more expensive!

It's a long day, lots of travel. But a great way to get a taste of some special things in Norway. Fjords, Flam Railway, Viking Village experience. Be prepared for wet weather!!
Hannah_H, Jul 2026
You get to see everything! By bus, by train, by boat. Bring snacks for the morning—since there won’t be a food stop until the boat at lunch. If forecast says rain—bring an umbrella! We thought we could tough it out at the Viking village and it was pouring.

Excellent . All in one trip. Bus, train, cruise and bus . Very efficient . Good driver. Good guide.
Maria the guide and Linda our driver made the trip very enjoyable. The flam train and the cruise is an experience to remember

Guide and driver excellent - both were friendly, helpful and very knowledgable about Bergen Norway and the Flåm railway etc.
and quick to solve a problem that arose on the Flåm railway - so that we didn’t miss out on anything.

The Flam train experience was wonderful, and loved the fjord cruise as well! We were fortunate to have some sunny weather on the fjord. The Viking Village was interesting as well. The view of the surrounding waterfalls and the waterfall stops were fantastic. A 5 out of 5 stars for our guide, Maria, and our bus driver as well!

Lots of fun facts - stunning views - comfortable and convenient operations! The boat was very clean and was super calming. They took care of everything!

WE knew this was going to be a long day but did not realize how much of it would be spent on a bus. The first 2 hours was a bus ride to catch a train (20 minute train ride) to immediately catch another train (the Flam Railroad train) which approximately 70% of that 1 hour +/- ride seemed to be through tunnels. The scenery we were able to see when out of the tunnels was beautiful but just too many tunnels. Then onto the fjord boat ride which was beaufiful but it did rain almost the entire time we were on the fjord. Then the Viking Village tour which was interesting but still in the pouring rain. Then the 2 hour bus ride back to Bergen. Our guide Maria was good and Michael the bus driver was nice.. However, I think the tour was too expensive for the amount of time on the bus. No food, snacks, or drinks offered with the tour until the bus ride coming back, a small bottle of water was offered.

Amazing way to experience Norway’s beautiful nature. We had a very well organized tour including two trains, a wonderful fjord cruise, and a trip to the Viking village.

Wonderful day trip venturing outside of Bergen. Informative commentary by Tracey and Michael. Beautiful scenery and really enjoyed visiting the Viking Villiage.
Sharon_M, Jun 2026
Norway is just breathtaking and every aspect of this tour - bus, train and fjord cruise showed off its magnificence. Our tour guide was excellent as well.

A very busy but extremely worthwhile excursion. We were warmly welcomed at the tour office and introduced to Tracey our guide and Linda our driver both of whom were excellent at communicating relevant information each stage of our journey.
Both train journeys were comfortable and as we were lucky enough to have good weather we were able to admire and photograph the stunning scenery. The fjord cruise was very comfortable with good viewing areas and all areas were accessible by ramps. The café had a good variety of snacks and hot and cold food. After the cruise we visited the Viking village, listened to a very informative talk on Viking culture and took part in the axe throwing activity. Throughout the day there were several stops for photo opportunities at spectacular waterfalls. Finally we had a relaxing bus trip back to Bergen.

Our tour guide, Maria, was quite knowledgeable and led us on one of the best tours that my wife and I ever participated in. Every part of the tour was exciting with great scenery and numerous surprises.

Great all inclusive tour. We thought we would be exhausted after such a long day but it was just so enjoyable. Tracy was an excellent guide & combined with Linda driving the bus it was a great day. I would highly recommend this tour to everyone.

Nice adventure in the fyords. Very nice!!!👍 Recommended to everybody who want to spend a nice day in the nature.

The trip is a good overview of the Bergen to Flam area. Our tour guide Maria was very knowledgable and organized at keeping the tour moving. We started by but from Bergen and saw the countryside as we made our way to the train 90 minutes away. Then we boarded a train that took us the rest of the way to Flam. There we boarded a ship to ride through 3 fjords before disembarking back to our bus for the ride back to Bergen. Many beautiful waterfalls and the countryside was spectacular. 10 hours in total and worth every minute.

Considering was only in Bergen for 4days this tour was great choice to cover everything I needed to see. Nærøyfjord cruise was breathtaking with peaceful landscape and lush landscape for Sept weather. Viking village was so serene surrounded by moutains and clouds. Amazing waterfals especially as we stopped by platfrom going through Flam railway. Tour guides were friendly and felt we covered quite a range, overall worth it.

This is a great trip, seeing so many things. I know I would have liked to know a few more details so here goes.
Coach to Voss station was about 1 hour 40 mins. Toilet break time whilst waiting for train. Voss to Myrdal was about 40mins.
Myrdal to Flam scenic hour trip had some lovely views but almost all on left hand side of train. Be aware, much of the hour is in tunnels. There is a stop for a stunning waterfall- got off train for 5 mins for photos.
Electric catamaran along the fjords is stunning. Breath taking. Calm but very cold and often windy so take hat and coat. Plenty of room. Food ok.
Viking village is 5 mins from getting off boat. It is authentic with brilliant guides. Try the axe throwing and archery. Really interesting place.
Then it's a long coach trip back with a stop at a gorgeous waterfall for 20 mins. Beware- have to pay for toilets so go at Viking village before you leave.
Take 10 hrs 30 mins. A substantial amount of time on coach but scenery is stunning.
Our guide Vilde was lovely. Lots of information on first part of coach journey. I would have liked more. Very little on the way back. Our bus driver Linda was very competent on the mountain roads.
Really glad we did this tour. Such beautiful scenery.

Tour covers a wide range of sites with train rides, cruise & bus stops. Guide was excellent - knowledgeable, very organized and personable. She guided us every step of the way to ensure we didn’t miss anything. This tour was money & time well spent.

Great day. Typical Bergan weather but the natural beauty of the area is breathtaking. The waterfalls the Flan train were amazing. Our guide Josh and driver Linda were Fabulous. Thank you for a Great Norway Experience.
Marsha_B, May 2026
This tour was the highlight of our vacation. Magnificent scenery and Tracy as our guide and Michael, our driver, were an excellent duo. It exceeded our expectations.
Nichole_W, May 2026
Pretty long day but you are able to experience everything and not have to worry about all the in between pieces. Just show up and follow directions.
Food on the boat was pretty good, amazing views.
Dominic_B, May 2026
If you have a short time in Bergen and want to see a lot of spectacular sights in 1 trip then this for you!
It’s a long day, and it’s down to you to buy your own lunch so I recommend either bringing something or if you’re happy with the options on offer on the cruise or at the Viking village which is later on in the day. Our guide and driver were excellent
kwarlum, May 2026
Take snacks & cash. The card machine was not working on the fjord boat and we were not able to buy anything to eat at lunchtime as we did not carry cash. The fjord cruise was spectacular, but don't expect a small group experience. Lots & lots of people from many different groups, although the boat did not feel crowded. The scenery was beautiful and the tour organiser very friendly.
