You will see the guide by the steps leading to the Tourist Information centre, which is in a building called 'Mathallen'. Please be there 10 minutes before the tour starts. Visiting Bergen on a cruise? Please note there are two ports and our meeting point is 15 minutes easy walk from both ports.

This tour provides a great Bergen experience! Our tour guide Don was very personable and professional. His knowledge of the city was impressive and provided us with a lot of historical and interesting information. The boat cruise was a special treat!! I would highly recommend this tour for anyone that was a little inside knowledge of Bergen.

It was really informative and fun to walk the city. I learned a lot about Bergen . Loved the ferry at the end. Just know that you’re gonna go rain or shine because it was absolutely pouring on us. We were drenched so we were happy to be in the ferry for the last 30 minutes. It just enhanced our experience.:)

The tour guide was very informational and helpful with questions. He spoke quietly at times so it was hard to hear all the info. I thought we’d cover more ground during the tour but we didn’t the highlights of Bergen. My kids (ages 8 and 10) did fairly well but lost attention towards the end.

The very point of the ferry ride is to show you parts of the city a usual walking tour cannot cover.

Great walking tour of Bergen. Visiting off cruise ship. Perfect amount of time! Our guide, Don, was fantastic. We had an 18 & 13 year olds in tow and they enjoyed the tour as well with no complaints!

Ani was a terrific guide sharing interesting and historic facts about Bergen and showing us parts of the city we never would’ve discovered otherwise. Highly recommend taking this short 2 hour walking tour to get your bearings in Bergen and then you can truly appreciate the city on your own!

It’s a lot of walking on cobblestones, but doable for us in our early 70’s. Learned some interesting details about Bergen. Our guide Ani was knowledgeable and passionate about his home, Bergen.

This walking tour is a perfect introduction to Bergen. We landed in the city around 130 and forced ourselves to do the 430 tour to battle the jet lag. Don was a fabulous guide, full of interesting historical facts and kept our group moving at a lovely pace. The on again/off again rain did not dampen the mood or enjoyment. His inclusion of a ferry ride to better appreciate how much the fjords shaped the city was a fantastic way to conclude the tour. Don 5 stars.

The boat and walking tour of Bergen was really great. Francesco was a fantastic guide. He was so interesting and knowledgeable. The boat part was good because you get a better overall impression of Bergen, as well as getting a rest! We saw the island that 60% of workers in Bergen commute from. Would definitely recommend this company.

We were only in town for a half-day and Francesco’s commentary was an excellent introduction to the city of Bergen! We really enjoyed the pace as our group of six
were guided to interesting historic landmarks around the greater waterfront area, followed by sweeping views of the fjord on a short ferry ride. Francesco provided insight into why each location was culturally significant and well as pointed out key parts of the city worth returning to on our free time. We left the tour feeling like we learned a great deal about the Norwegian way of life both past and present, and enjoyed the various conversations that took place. Highly recommended!

Don did a fantastic job showing us the city. He talked a little about history and culture. He offered a great introduction to our stay. The boat ride did not seem necessary and did not add to our experience.

The tour consisted of 2 parts, a walking tour and a harbor tour by boat. The walking tour was good. Our guide was affable and well informed. It was a bit more strenuous than expected including sharp uphill segments.
The harbor tour was a complete loss, a simple unnarrated municipal ferry ride to the next stop and back. To be honest it was a of an insult .
