Don’t depend on Google maps to get you to the meeting place! We were probably 10 minutes late, but Martin communicated by email and very kindly waited for us. Lots of interesting information about the history and customs and every day life in Bergen.

Martin shared wonderful information about Bergen. Being German-born and raised in northern Norway, his take on the history of Bergen gave a lot of insight into the WW2 German history in the city/country as well.

Great experience with a really great guide (can’t remember his name, but originally from England and a musician and song writer). We loved the stories and information as well as how eloquently it was presented. Learned a lot about this beautiful city. Would highly recommend!

Neal is just awesome! So many fun stories, and great recommendations! We went to the restaurant he recommended and it was wonderful. Bien, right behind starbucks. Also really made me want to go to the museum, which we did…and it was great!

My husband and I did this walking tour while in Bergen during a recent Holland America cruise, and we’re so glad we did! The directions provided to meet the guide were clear and easy to follow and we had no trouble finding the starting point.
Our tour guide was fantastic; he was calm, clear, and had a great sense of humor. He shared a lot of interesting information about both the rich history and the current culture of Bergen. We were impressed by how much ground we covered and how engaging the tour was from start to finish.
He also gave us great recommendations for places to eat and things to do during our time in town, and we followed a few of them and every one was spot-on!
We highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting to learn more about Bergen.
