Our Guide Dune’ made the trip memorable with selection of an incredible Trattoria in Florence and a great attitude through the pouring rain throughout the 14 hour tour. Worth it!

We booked this tour two days before our trip as something else fell through. It was definitely worth it! It was easy to find the group outside of the cathedral and the skip the line feature was fantastic as the regular line wrapped around the building. We opted for the dome climb, which was also very interesting and beautiful once we got to the top. I would definitely recommend it!

Not to be missed!

The tour guide was amazing. She not only filled us in on so much history but answered any and all questions we had. I would recommend 1000 percent. One other point......we had trouble finding our tour group and received a call from the office giving perfect directions around the corner of the piazza to where the group was meeting, just in time! One more great thing about this tour. I only wish I could remember the name of our tour guide. She was fantastic!

Worth it!

This tour was a necessity in my opinion. Given the sheer number of people in the general waiting in line to get into Santa Maria del Fiore, it is definitely worth it to have the skip the line option. Chiara, our tour guide, gave us historical insights important to understanding this magnificent church and the people who played their roles in building it. I didn’t expect the tour of the church museum but it was also a most informative part of the tour. The inside of the cathedral and of course the Duomo was magnificent. The climb up the many steps was definitely a challenge - beside the number of steps, the steepness and narrowness in some parts definitely warrant extra care. Some may also find the climb and descent a bit dizzying as well. But if you can withstand these factors, the view from the top is very rewarding! I definitely would recommend this tour.

If there is anything in Florence that is a must do and cannot miss, it is the statue of David. This statue is so massive and impressive, it will leave you in awe. I think that this is a good tour made primarily for more couples and solo travelers. However, our guide- Tiziano and our driver Dino made the tour much better. Tizianos exceptional knowledge of different spots helped us make informed decisions when it came to us having free time.

The tour is divided into two separate tours. We first did the David tour and it was exceptional. Truly, David is captivating. Our guide was well informed on his history. We then had approximately 45 minutes between the two tours to walk down to the Uffizi for the second tour. Our guide was also the guide for that tour. He was very knowledgeable, passionate, and dynamic throughout the tour.

Majestic View: Highly recommend!

Highly recommend the tour. And the majestic view in particular. We had an excellent guide. Very informative. The climb to the secret terrace was challenging but manageable. I was able to make it to the top of the duomo. The climb was steep. The view at the top and on the terrace overlooking the landscape of the city was all worth it. Magnificent view from the top if you are willing to climb the stairs.
