First of we was over an hour late getting out of the airport our tour guide was Gao and he was so helpful in very way. We had a 13 hour layover and we wanted to see the Great wall, go up it on the chair lift and back down on the tabbogans but he explained that as we was a little late getting out the airport we might not have much time to do it as the attractions close at 5pm but my man Gao must be an expert on mario cart BC he got us there safe n sound in no time n we had more than enough time to go up take a load of pictures walk down the wall a bit and tabbogan back down( which is insane). He literally ran us up and paid for everything along the way just to make sure we had enuff time. Once we got back to the airport Gao explained that we could even pay in our own currency as you have to pay a fee to change it at the airport. What a legend and what a layover if you have a layover more than 8 hours I highly recommend this private tour it was utterly perfect and Gao was amazing. Thank you so much Joe and Hannah ✌🏽

Was picked up by guide at airport and brought to the Great Wall. Only bought transportation trip and successfully bought wall tickets much cheaper at the Wall instead of prebooking.

Our tour guide was fantastic. We got held up at the airport by 45 minutes and to ur surprise he was still waiting for us. We had a wonderful experience visiting the Great Wall of China- highly recommend going on the tour. You need about 6-8 hours of time.

My plane was delayed and I arrived 1h30 late! The driver was still here waiting for me, he was very kind, drove me safely to the Great Wall where I could take my time walking around etc.. I definitely recommend! Mathieu

What an amazing trip to The Great Wall of China. My flight landed 1hour earlier than expected. James, sorted everything for me. He contracted the driver to say I was going to arrive early. The driver was outside waiting for me. All I needed to do was sit back and relax and admire the amazing views. Thank you, James and the Driver.

Though my time was a bit short, this tour was excellent hitting all the things in the description.
I got picked up from the airport, toured the Great Wall, tobogganed down, had lunch (eh on the scale of food), and they got me to the airport with plenty of time to get my flight.

Had a great experience with the company. Getting out temporary visas took way longer than I expected (around 3 hours) but our driver was still there waiting with a sign when we got out. Our driver was super nice, he didn't speak any english so he just spoke into his phone and it translated it so it's was never a problem. I do recommend getting some yen at the airport to pay for your ticket into the great wall park, it's around 27 USD a person. We stopped at two banks and I could never get my card to work in the ATMs and that wasted a lot of time. Because of that we were running kind of late but our driver did a really good job of showing us where to go so we could get up to the wall faster then he even took a toll road on the way back that I'm pretty sure he paid for out of his own pocket to make sure we got back to the airport in time. Overall a great experience. I wouldn't recommend this tour however if your layover is less that 9 hours, ours was 9 hours and we were cutting it super close.

Well, I was contacted by James the first time, and he's very communicative.
Unfortunately due to some urgent thing, James cant guide us and Michael, his friends will be the one who will guide us.
So, we arrived at Beijing Airport at ten to five am... and then we wait in the KFC outside the arrival gate. After around 15-20 minutes waiting, we finally meet Michael. He's very nice, welcome friendly and.... he really knows about the area and TEA. Michael showed us around, even tried to teach us Chinese, tell us some history bout the place we passed by very good knowledge and really really patient waiting for us walking around Mutianyu we were hanging around in the Great Wall for more than 1.5 hours. Then he even help us on getting into our hotels which was placed in somewhere with a very narrow street. hahahahahahaha....
Actually we were planned to meet Michael again in the next day for afternoon tea but due to some missed plan from our side, the plan was cancelled. Too bad! :
But overall, everything is really really nice. I'm sure will book again when I revisit Beijing.

Had a great time exploring the Great Wall of China!! The restaurant we went to was amazing, food superior!!! Also got to go to a tea tasting, it was yummy especially the fruit tea! Our guide was very punctual, knowledgeable and enjoyable to spend the day with. Definitely would recommend this tour

Our trip to Mutianyu was great. Through no fault of our tour arrangements, we were delayed because of our flight by about an hour and by the 72-hour visa-free transit officials by nearly three hours. Unfortunately, our pick-up ended up leaving after waiting THREE hours, supposing we'd changed our minds. We came out almost an hour after he left and realized he was gone, but we had some contact information. So we talked to the information desk at the airport and gave them the contact number we had, and the tour company sent over someone else immediately. We really appreciated the excellent service and would highly recommend them again!

Trip to see the Great Wall was very well worth the time and cost. Good driver, kind and responsible. On time in both directions. One negative: The China 72 hour visa process had a long slow line. The delay nearly cost us our trip.

Was picked up at the airport right upon arrival, even though my flight was delayed. It was helpful that I had a phone to reach James so that I could let him know that the flight was delayed. Immediately found my driver upon exiting the terminal, he took me to an ATM in the airport and helped me load all of my bags into the car. I chose the option for driver only and then paid for the tour on my own, which was 180 Yuan and included the shuttle bus, cable car and toboggan ride. I only had an hour and a half at the Wall because of my flight delays but it was definitely worth it, as it was an easy, comfortable ride both ways and gorgeous scenery. Would highly recommend the tour to anyone on a 8-9hour layover in Beijing!

We were greeted at the airport and after a 1,5 hour drive we stopped at Mutianyu. The driver helped us with the purchase of our tickets for the shuttle, the entrance and the cable car and we decided on a time to return to the car. We had a great walk at the Wall it was beautiful day with blue skies and sunshine and after about 2,5 hours we returned. On the way back to the hotel, the driver askes us if we wanted to stop at a beautiful ice lake we also saw on the way to the Great Wall and we enjoyed the scenery there for a while. The driver then brought us to our hotel. Wonderful trip, great value for money.

Originally I had a 9 hour layover, but my flight was delayed by an hour. When I arrived, I was afraid I wasn't going to have enough time to make it to the Great Wall since I had lost an hour and still needed to go through customs. However, when I left the airport, Gray was still waiting outside holding a sign with my name and then we met up with Joy who was the driver. Gray spoke pretty good English and Joy spoke basic English. I think it took us maybe an hour, to an hour and a half before we arrived at the Great Wall but it was a pretty smooth drive up. Gray was very pleasant to talk to and had such a great personality. Once we got there, Joy helped me purchase the tickets before Gray and I ventured up to the Great Wall ourselves. Gray gave me some background on The Great Wall and was with me most of the way. He was very kind in making sure I had pictures with the Great Wall to remember the trip. Towards the end, Gray gave me an opportunity to venture the great corner tower solo and when I lost track of time, he journeyed all the way up to come find me to make sure I would make it back in time to the airport for my flight. It's definitely not the easiest flight up those stairs but it was super awesome that Gray was on point and thoughtful of getting me home! We then headed back down The Great Wall using the tobaggan and Gray made sure to ride first so that he could capture pictures of me riding down. Once we were at the bottom, Joy was already waiting for us with the car ready to go! These two gentlemen got me to the airport safe and sound with an hour to spare before my flight took off. Overall, it was a great experience and I would certainly recommend these guys!

We booked this tour as it seemed to be a good value for money compared to other layover tours available. We were not disappointed. Our driver was waiting when we came out of customs. The operator, James, had informed him of our special needs before we arrived. Although the driver spoke only a little English, he used translation software and the help of James by phone to make sure we were able to understand one another. The wall itself was phenomenal. It's so much better in person!

Unser Fahrer Joe hat uns super zur Chinesischen Mauer begleitet. Danke Joe und James für die Unterstützung.
Wir hatten nur 7:10 h Stayover . Dies ist schon sehr knapp. 24h Visa schafften wir in 30 Minuten. Fahrt zur Mauer dauerte 1,5 h ..Es war dann genug Zeit alles anzuschauen. Danach wieder rechtzeitig zum Flughafen zurück. Das Erlebnis war einzigartig.

Keine Kritik an den Touranbieter. Dieser hat sein Angebot vollumfänglich angeboten und hat teilweise noch Updates per WhatsApp gesendet, dass sein Fahrer noch warten würden.
Es ist eher eine Regimekritik... Wir haben unser 24/77 Stunden Visa nicht erhalten...ohne Angaben von Gründen. Vermutlich war der auslösende Grund, dass ich einen Stempel aus der Türkei in meinem Pass hatte.
Die 17 Stunden am Flughafen waren ein Traum ;)

Knapp 2 Std für "72 Std Visa" und Einreise, Sehr freundlicher Fahrer hat uns in der Ausgangshalle abgeholt, 1 1/2 Std. Fahrt zur Mauer, ausreichende 2 Std. für die Besichtigung und 1.1/4 Std zurück. sehr empfehlenswert
